Guest Reviews
- Sasa (9/5): Pleasant stay in a historic center of Rome - Excellent location, nice historical building. Very clean place. Smooth communication with the landlady. Everything was fine
- Aleksandr (10/5): - Great location, authentic atmosphere! It would be great to update the bed linen. And fix the sofa, we couldn't assemble it.

- Sean (9/5): Perfect - A great Location in a beautiful courtyard with so many excellent sites and restaurants within walking distance,
- Lam (10/5): A spacious and homey stay - +Everything is very spacious and homey.
+Unit is 5m from the Patheon, Church of St. Ignatius of Loyola, Tiber River. Very walkable everywhere!
+The host, Laura, is very attentive and kept in touch with us throughout the stay through iMessages.
+There was a US-Europe adapter plug in the desk drawer, so we didn't have to keep moving the one we brought to/from bedroom/kitchen.
+Many Italy/Rome travel books for your reference - it's nice to get more info on the sites we were about to see.
The unit is inside a quiet courtyard (not garden) and is on 2 floors. Lower floor is for entrance and there is a closet to store your coats and shoes. There is a long red couch - convenient to sit down to put on your shoes. The kitchen and sitting room are on the 2nd floor, ~15 steps up on a narrow (for US standard) staircase. Not a problem for us, but maybe for ppl with mobility issues.
Kitchen is fully equipped. We didn't cook but used the kettle to make hot water for my coffee packages that we brought with us every morning and tea at night. I love opening the kitchen window for the fresh morning cool air (early May), read my book and listening to the locals go about their morning activities. The sitting room has a sofa bed. The bedroom and bathroom are 2 steps down from the kitchen.
If you get in late, we recommend PaStation (3 blocks straight from the front door) for good, cheap food that open late (1030 -1100pm) with take-out. About a minute walk more, there is Giolitti for great gelato and sweet treats, open to midnight. Shampoo, conditioner, body soap and washcloth were not provided. We got some the next day at the convenience store Carrefour Express, which was <5 min walk away. Hopefully, this was left in the unit for the next guests since we got the full sizes.
We also brought a notebook as there were some pens but nothing to jot down notes for our day planning. I know ipad/electronic devices are popular, but I still find pen and paper more optimal in some cases. We left a poncho behind since there was rain when we were there, but no umbrella or poncho in the unit for us to borrow.
Not a complaint, just FYI - the bed and sofa bed are the hard type, seems standard in Europe, but might not be comfy for some US travelers.
