• Julia (10/5): Tolle Erfahrung nubischer Gastfreundschaft mit allem Komfort und gutem Essen - Die Gastfreundschaft von Habib mit seiner Familie ist großartig. Hier erlebt der Gast, was in anderen Unterkünften nicht immer selbstverständlich ist: Der Familienbetrieb übernimmt die Verantwortung für das Wohlbefinden der Gäste und dass alles funktioniert. Die Küche des Hauses ist exzellent: Das betrifft das Frühstück und mindestens genauso das Essen des Restaurants auf der außergewöhnlich atmosphärischen Dachterrasse mit Blick über den Nil und das nubische Dorf West Assuan. Die Fähre auf die West-Seite des Nils fährt häufig und ist günstig. Als besonderen Luxus haben wir die Wasserfilter-Anlage in dem größeren Appartement im Erdgeschoss empfunden, das wir gebucht hatten: Dadurch haben wir zumindest einige der vielen Plastikflaschen Wasser eingespart, die man sonst täglich während eines Ägyptenaufenthaltes benötigt. Sehr hilfreich war auch, dass der Gastgeber jederzeit ansprechbar für die nötigen An- und Abreise-Transfere war und auch für Ausflüge. Diese werden zu vernünftigen Preisen mit freundlichen und kundigen Fahrern organisiert. Für alle Einkaufswünsche jenseits von Wasser, Softdrinks und Chips, die kleine Shops erfüllen, muss man auf die Westseite, aber damit kommt man zurecht.

Les chambres sont de bonne qualité, ainsi que la salle de bain. Le gérant de l’hôtel nous a organisé nos visites à la carte. Top ! La cuisine réalisée sur place est vraiment très bonne, les petits déjeuners exceptionnels. Une bonne adresse ! Il faut bien organiser l’accès à l’hôtel car changer de rive est simple en bateau, mais en voiture il faut une bonne quarantaine de minutes

Upstairs restaurant is delicious and great value so another reason to stay. The view of the nobles tombs and desert scape from the rooftop is incredible On the west bank of the Aswan BUT if you take the local ferry (3 mins walk). Boats cross the Nile every 10 minutes from 6am to 11pm and they are 20 egyptian pound (super cheap!) so you can get to eastern Aswan very easily

• Lili (10/5): 老板的友好让你在阿斯旺很有安全感。 - 宾馆干净，食物很好，老板人超级好，晚上到阿斯旺机场，国内苹果在埃及用不了indrive，本来开罗用的滴滴，到了阿斯旺滴滴用不了，两眼一黑，机场全是黑车乱加价，一个人拉着行李箱往机场外走，和老板说了情况，没一会后面来个车问我是不是去habibi旅馆的，老板让接我的，感动死了。 旅馆离码头很近，有行李，提前发信息，老板会安排tutu 车来接的。坐船开始不知道我们给20埃，后来老板说10埃就可以了，后来我们只做单程和当地人一样付了5埃，注意坐船男女分开坐。 楼顶是餐厅，可以看到尼罗河，点了一个鱼的套餐，不好看，但味道很好。 第二天去阿布辛贝，车子找不到，全是乱报价的，老板帮我们找了一个车，价格合适，知道我们一早出发，前一天就和我们准备好了了早餐，怕我们困，还给每人装了一袋咖啡放了一个杯子，服务区喝上热乎乎的咖啡，满是激动。 酒店很干净，在阿斯旺除了老瀑布，别的也都别指望多高级，都差不多，这个民宿很简朴，但很干净。阿斯旺住宿强推，会给你安全感的。 非常好。

• Anthony (10/5): Wonderful stay in a traditional Numbian Village ! - Our stay was truly wonderful. Nubian Village may feel surprising at first, but the guesthouse is beautifully located in a peaceful area, within a charming village full of kind and welcoming people. The children are especially lovely, always greeting you with a cheerful “Hello, welcome.” The guesthouse is spotlessly clean. The rooms are perfect, well-equipped, and feature a balcony as well as a very comfortable bathroom. The rooftop terrace is a real highlight, offering a breathtaking view over the Nile and Aswan. Breakfast was absolutely exceptional — without a doubt the best we had in Egypt. Everything is homemade and simply delicious. Unfortunately, and of course this is absolutely not the fault of the guesthouse, it is important to know that Aswan is a city where tourists may encounter many scams, so extra caution is needed. The public ferry to reach Aswan city (crossing the Nile) is very close to the guesthouse, about a 10-minute walk, and normally costs 10 EGP per one-way trip. However, even if you use it daily, some people may try to charge you more or even prevent you from boarding, so be vigilant. The same applies to felucca tours on the Nile. I strongly recommend booking an organized tour, as many people around the city may try to scam or mislead tourists. Being aware of these issues is important, as scams can unfortunately affect the overall experience of staying in the city.

Se cercate traquillità e volete uscire dal caos della riva est (dove sembra di essere al Cairo) è la soluzione per voi. Tenete presente che dovrete prendere il traghetto (che si trova a 10' a piedi dalla guesthouse) per spostarvi dall'altro lato (costo 20EGP a tratta a persona). La colazione (inclusa) e gli altri pasti (a richiesta, con ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo) vengono serviti nel vicino ristorante con terrazza sul Nilo (3' a piedi). La guesthouse è attualmente in espansione, con il terrazzo/ristorante al piano superiore. Camere pulitissime, gestore super cordiale e disponibile a venire incontro a tutte le richieste, ci ha anche fornito il driver per un'intera giornata per trasferirsci a Luxor, con visita a Kom Ombo, Edfu, Esna lungo il tragitto, con tempi di visita adattati alle nostre esigenze e lontani dai ritmi frenetici imposti dai tour organizzati. Super consigliato!!! Tutto ottimo! Ricordate che la location è sull riva ovest: se cercate il grande albergo è meglio che vi rivolgiate a strutture sulla riva est. Ma se cercate traquillità e una vera esperienza in famiglia, non posso consigliare una struttura migliore.

The hospitality extended by Mr. Habib and Basher was on another level and we were pleased to stay there. They arranged the felucca and camel rides for us.I would highly recommend the guest house for someone looking to book a stay within a reasonable budget. Nothing as such.

Nos ayudaron a coordinar el traslado desde el aeropuerto a un precio conveniente, algo clave considerando que llegamos cerca de las 02:00 por el retraso del vuelo. Nos esperaron con agua y había agua y té disponibles en los espacios comunes, un detalle muy valorable. El personal fue siempre muy amable, atento y bien predispuesto. Aunque no pudimos usar todas las instalaciones por el poco tiempo de estadía, lo que vimos estuvo muy bien cuidado y dejó una buena impresión general. Estuvimos muy pocas horas (nos fuimos cerca de las 08:00), por lo que probablemente no llegamos a detectar posibles inconvenientes. El único punto a corregir es que el baño no está dentro de la habitación, algo a considerar para quienes buscan mayor privacidad o comodidad, especialmente de noche.

Właściciel zorganizował dla nas kilka wycieczek z których byliśmy bardzo zadowoleni. Polecam dla ludzi pragnących odpocząć od zgiełku i hałasu i spróbować znaleść spokój wśród wspaniałych ludzi. Nie było takiej rzeczy.
• Sonya (8/5): Nice place to stay - A very nice guesthouse, we had a simple room with a balcony and Aircon that was pretty noisy but cool. We had use of a kettle in the outside space, we brought our own coffee, if you used the coffee there, you had to pay extra. We had a late bus journey on the day we left and were very grateful to be able to stay in the common space after check out time. Breakfast was good, the views were beautiful of the Nile. Comfy bed, good clean accommodation, spacious rooms. Plenty of communal space.

I have stayed there before and i really appreciated again seeing the calm view of the Nile river and feluccas having the delicious breakfast and meals that they prepare. A must. • László (10/5): Exceptional - The location is good, clean, close to the ferry. The accommodation provides tea and coffee making facilities, a washing machine and a fridge in a common area. Breakfast is served nearby on a terrace overlooking the Nile.Habibi the owner is very kind ready to help with any problem. We stayed for 6 days where the breakfast was the same and less and less in quantity from day to day. On the first evening we had dinner which was expensive and in small quantity. We preferred to eat on the East Bank.

Such a great representation and reflection of the nubian people we always knew. Regarding the place, it is walking distance from the ferry. The rooms are clean and exactly as the images with all the amenities needed and more. Breakfast is served on the Nile in his other property “Nubian holiday house & Restaurant” Almost nothing.
• Jennifer (10/5): Amazing host - This is by far the place where I felt the biggest hospitality from the hosts in my stay in Egypt. We arrived late at night and they waited for us at the ferry. It's around 5 min walk from there. We had a nice view to the Nile river and the bed was good to have some rest after a long trip

• Cornish (9/5): Great value for a unique, friendly, comfortable experience - You get a more local, Nubian village guest house experience. The facility is new, tasteful, and adequately equipped. Service is very personal. I had a short stay, leaving at 3:50 AM for a journey to Abu Simbel and the guest house coordinated with my transportation arrangements to drive me from the west side to meet my shared van since the ferry boats don’t run at that time of night. I also hadn’t had dinner before arriving to the village and the host/owner arranged for me to have dinner at the Holiday House a couple buildings away, also owned by him (including a vegetarian option and a wonderful view of the Nile) and was presented with a boxed breakfast at that time to take on the road since I wouldn’t be around for breakfast hours. The owner hosted me with tea and conversation after dinner. I wasn’t entirely sure if the bathroom that I was shown as “mine” would be shared by other guests on the same floor or not. I experienced no crossover as I was in bed before anyone else returned, and left before anyone else got up.

It's close to the ferry, so it's easy to cross to the other side. And the host is very nice person, thank you for your hospitality 😊

The house is in the west of Nile river, most attractions are in the east side, you should take a boat to the east side.

Habib the owner was really helpful organising trips for me to Abu Simble a private car just for me at a very reasonable rate, a camel ride up to the tombs on the hill and a day trip was to the high dam, Nubian museum and Philae island. All of them were excellent and tailored to me A few mosquitoes in the evening on the terrace but nothing you wouldn’t expect when you next to the river

When we went to Abu Simbel we got a breakfast to go. The location was a bit tricky. With tours you need to pay extra for pickups. The walls were very thin, so we could hear our neighbours easily.
• C (10/5): Habib and his family really run the extra mile ❤️ - The guesthouse is located on the peaceful and quiet West Bank of Aswan. Habib and his family are super hosts, they're welcoming, honest and friendly. The whole guesthouse and rooms are very clean, it's the cleanest place I stayed in Egypt, the bed is very comfy and the wifi works very well which is rare in the country. The rooftop restaurant has a very nice view, breakfast was lovely, I also tired the Nubian dinner there and it was tasty. I really enjoyed my stay and felt like I was part of the family. I highly recommended staying in this lovely guesthouse if you come to Aswan. Nothing.

• Ana (10/5): Come here if you want a serene and peaceful experience - Our stay at Habibi Nubian House was nothing short of exceptional, starting with a warm and generous upgrade from the owner that set the tone for a memorable experience. The room we were upgraded to very big and comfortable. The attention to creating a "home away from home" atmosphere was evident throughout our stay. There are three beautiful and friendly dogs at the entrance that add a delightful touch to our stay. They always wait eagerly to greet the visitors, enhanced the warm and welcoming atmosphere. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking view from the terrace overlooking the Nile River. The terrace provided a perfect vantage point for witnessing stunning sunsets and delicious Nubian homemade food. A definite must for anyone seeking a serene and pleasant experience. This house proximity to a public ferry just a few blocks away was a pleasant surprise. The affordability of the ferry made it a convenient option for crossing the river. This not only added to the overall convenience of our stay but also allowed us to explore the area without the hustle and bustle found in more touristy spots. The location of the guest house proved to be an ideal escape from the noise and persistent sellers. I also want to remark the hospitality extended by the owner, Habib. He helped us organizing our tour to Abu Simbel, arranging a private car that ensured a comfortable and personalized experience. The driver was great and very polite. Habib also helped us arrange our transportation to the airport.
• Anna (10/5): Safe comfortable place in the real local village - Our room was very comfortable designed by owner Habib with great attention to detail - good size bed, super clean linen, posh towels, two wardrobes (one for hanging clothes and the other to place items on multiple shelves), desk, chair, large window with screens to make the room bright during the day, and a curtain to make toom dark for good sleep. The owner even provided clothes line with clothes pins - accessible directly from our small balcony. Toilet paper, soap, shampoo were also provided in the large bathroom. Our room faced the village square where local kids played during the day, but at night it was very quiet and peaceful. Traditional breakfast cooked by his sister Gigi was delicious and plentiful. Breakfast was served at the near-by property on the roof-top terrace with stunning views over the Nile. We did not have any pressure whatsoever from the owner about the tours, as a matter of fact, we didn't even have any conversations about it - so for us, as experienced independent travellers it created a peaceful psychological environment. We enjoyed the freedom of our own travel plans, and had two very plesant days exploring the surroundings, local villages and desert hikes. Unfortunately, the options of local places to eat are very limited in the village. For some reason owner's cousin tried to overcharge us for dinner at Habib's sister restaurant, but it was corrected quickly by a phone call to Habib. So, all is OK.

• Saki (9/5): full of hospitality - The owner of the hotel helped us a lot for tours to Abu-simbel. Although I had booked it via another tour agency, he contacted the tour guide to make the plan go smoothly. Even after check-out, he allowed us to stay at near guest house and use wi-fi and bathroom to wait for night train. The room, bathroom, entrance everywhere was very neat, It's worth more than the price. He was vert thoughtful person, we had a fun conversation and I learned a lot about Egypt. Dinner was served in the neighbor guest house (1min walk from here) by only 300 EGP by booking before hand (you can book after check in), it was great experience to eat traditional Egyptian cuisine while seeing the view of the Nile. nothing special :)

• Filmypapy (9/5): The place to stay in the left bank of Aswan :) ... - Very nice place to stay on the left bank of the Nile. Clean, modern, yet having the distinct Nubian style. Good WiFi. Friendly hosts. Nice terrace for the common use with the view on the Nile. If you come by car like we did, there is a safe place to park next to the building. Five minutes walk to the Tombs of the Nobles in Aswan, Dome of Abu Al-Hawa, and a ferry that will take you with all the locals to the right side of the Nile where the rest of the tourist attractions is located. Strongly recommend for those who want to stay away from the 'all inclusive' crowds that select the right bank of the river, as well as for those who want to get a taste of how locals live. Will stay there again when next time in Aswan :) ...
