• Eduardo (9/5): En el lugar más emblemático de Madrid - Un departamento muy bien equipado, sin ruidos molestos, muy buena cama, en una Plaza histórica cerca de todo. Eduardo está atento y agrega detalles valiosos para un viajero, como una despensa con productos, café, azúcar, aceite, etc. Volvería sin dudarlo. Excelente! Nada grave, la ducha debe ser breve, tema que está avisado por el dueño
• Nessweda (9/5): Historisches Haus auf historischem Platz - Die Lage ist grandios, auch sehr nahe zur Markthalle. Küchenausstattung bestens, es gibt Rollradiazoren, wenn es kalt ist. Dachschrägenfenster lassen sich nicht wirklich abdunkeln. Leider nur Leintücher samt Tagesdecke zum zudecken nachts.

On s’y est tout de suite senti très bien et la proximité de la plaza des mayor est idéale ! Eduardo, notre hôte, nous a donné toutes les informations nécessaires pour récupérer les clés et accéder à l’appartement. Il est très disponible et réactif à nos messages. Je recommande vivement !! Info à noter pour les mobilités réduites : appartement au dernier étage (5e) mais l’ascenseur, accessible après quelques marches, s’arrête au 4eme.

• Maeva (10/5): Great central flat - Great apartment in the city centre. Good bathroom, well equipped kitchen, and great bedrooms. We had a lovely stay there with a friend and it’s very central to explore the city. Finding the flat felt a bit like an escape room but clear instructions were provided so it wasn’t difficult. The flat door is a bit stiff to open.

• Elena (10/5): One of the best apartment in central Madrid! - The property was very clean, modern , comfortable ,equipped with everything you need, including a coffee machine, great location, close to the major sites in Madrid, close to Plaza Mayor , to Mercado San Miguel and still very quiet at night . We had a very enjoyable stay and the only regret was that I couldn’t stay longer . But if I go to Madrid I wont hesitate to book again . Also I would like to mention the support and great communication with Mr Eduardo who did everything to accommodate our needs! Thanks for a great time and stay! Nothing! I liked everything !

The host was very helpful and communications with the host was great. The bathroom was small. There was no ventilation in the bathroom. Even with the exhaust fan turned on and the bathroom door was open, the wet bath towels became very smelly after only one use if hung in the bathroom to dry.
• Esmeralda (10/5): Excellent location, quiet and clean apartment - Even thought the apartment is in the center of the city, it is very quiet for a good sleep. It is very near of most of the center main attractions and very close at a walking distance from Parque del retiro and Templo de Debod. It was 4 of us and the only thing is to have a good coordination to use the bathroom. Not a big deal.

Não há água quente suficiente para todos os hospedes tomarem banho em sequência. Os últimos ficam sem agua quente. Também não há maquinas de lavar roupas, como sugerido nas imagens.

Posizione perfetta sia per muoversi a piedi nel centro sia prendere i mezzi di trasporto. Eduardo è stato un host eccezionale: disponibile, gentile e rapido nel rispondere alle domande. Consigliamo questo appartamento e se torneremo a Madrid verremo senz’altro qua.

Apesar de central, o sítio é muito sossegado e sem barulho no exterior. A única coisa que podia ter sido melhor era existirem mais cadeiras para a mesa da cozinha; éramos 4 pessoas e só existem duas cadeiras.

Eduardo was an exceptional host. His communication was quick and thoughtful, and he was always ready to help with anything we needed. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. Whenever I’m back in Madrid, this is without a doubt where I’ll be staying again! Highly, highly recommended. We loved everything!

Très calme malgré tout car l'appartement donne sur l'arrière du bâtiment. En tout point conforme aux photos et description de Booking. Pas de vue sur la plaza de la villa puisque à l'arrière du bâtiment mais c’est le prix à payer pour être au calme en plein centre ville, donc pas dérangeant pour nous. Rien à redire, tout était parfait.

• Steven (10/5): Great place - If you are looking for a true old town Madrid experience this apartment is the place. The buildings huge wooden front door opens to a historic plaza. You are steps away from the market and Plaza Major. Yes, it's a old building with old world charm, but the apartment has been refurbished nicely. We stayed four nights with no complaints. Highly recommend. Would be nice to have a kettle to heat water

L’appartement est propre et grand, parfait pour une famille. Eduardo a été très accommodant et a répondu à toutes nos questions. Nous avons tout aimé.

• Michaela (10/5): - The best choice in Madrid! The location is perfect, it takes just few minutes to reach Plaza Mayor or Palacio Real. Stuff (we were in touch with Eduardo) was super kind and helpful. The apartment was very clean and spacious. Hopefully we'll stay there again one time :-)

• Dana (10/5): Great location inside and out - The location was near Plaza Major and the Royal Palace. There is an express grocery on the block and plenty of restaurants including San Miguel Market. The host was immediately responsive. The shower pressure was excellent, the A/C was cool, and the kitchen was well stocked. The windows have heavy shades that block the heat and the light. And the front bed was comfy. (We didn’t sleep in the back bedroom- just put our suit ashes there.) The locks are touchy but you get used to them and figure it out. The building front door is the hardest one.

• VickyCLin (9/5): - The receptionist was very kind and welcoming. The apartment is very clean and comfortable. Although the weather is very hot this season, even without AC, it was cool in this loft apartment. And the location is very good. I chose to this room on Booking.com after seeing that it had a washing machine, and to be told when I arrived that it didn't have one (but I think it just not in our room type). Renters may want to double check with them when booking.

• Adam (9/5): Perfect location, quiet but central, in a comfy modern apartment - Absolutely fantastic location, located on the only quiet square in the heart of the city. Easy walking distance to the palace, plaza major, Mercado San Miguel, etc. We did get lazy one day and took a tuktuk to the Prado. Luckily there’s a tuktuk stand right at the Mercado. The apartment was airy and comfortable. All the plates and dishes we needed were available. We didn’t use the washing machine but it was nice to see it was there. The beds were super comfy and bedrooms had blackout curtains if you want to sleep in. The bathroom was a little bit small but fine for one person at a time. The building hallways feel their age and some of the flooring is uneven. But the floor inside the apartment is brand new and level. There is an antique elevator for 1 or 2 people but it is claustrophobic. We mostly used it for our luggage and took the stairs, although I did try it a couple times so it is safe. We would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Madrid.

Bathroom was old and too small and using the keys was difficult. The plumbing wasn't modern, either, as it seemed like there was a backed up sewage smell in the bathroom at times.
• Eric (8/5): Very good - The location of this property is amazing and is very convenient to walk to many of Madrid's best tourist attractions. Good wifi and excellent water pressure. Fairly well equipped with most items that you would expect in an apartment rental. The host answered questions very quickly via email. Sounds travel through this building and you can hear people coming home from late nights out. This occurred each of the three nights that we stayed. The cleaning lady that gives you the keys does not speak any English (not that this was an expectation) and wasn't the easiest check in experience. Some of the furnishings and rugs were pretty worn out in the unit and need replacing.

The cleaning lady handed us the keys but didn’t speak English and no one explained which key is used to open which door. There are 3 doors to open using 3 diff keys and having a key pad or card on all the doors would make it easier to get in and out.
