Guest Reviews
- Venus (8/5): Very good -
- Lozano (10/5): Exceptional - place just like the photos, close to what I wanted and had everything I would use, I recommend it
- Jorge (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patrick (2/5): Very poor - Nice simple room Not cleaned after previous guest . Used towels and linen bin not emptied
- Natasha (10/5): Exceptional - Overall property met my expectations Property next door had half a front door people loud next door running up and down stairs slamming doors. Arguing in hallway.
- Jay (3/5): READ THE REVIEWS! - I liked that I could take a bus right around the corner. Where to begin.....
The train is over a 15min walk away.
It is an apartment under /attached to a rowdy bunch who live over the apartment.
When walking in, the floor is gross, it needs replacing, the wall needs painting, it looks like someone was already there. The microwave is disgusting. The wi-fi is seriously a joke. It's connection is one of those little connectors you use when you have no other option. If you have to use WiFi to work or keep in touch it is not good. It was taped to the front window.
The floor is uneven.
The tv channels barely worked.
There was an open bag or crisp in the cabinet.
It is NOT worth the money in the slightest. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt, but trust the reviews!!
If you are tall, the bed is too small. I was actually scared to sleep on the sheets.
Thr worlds tiny shower. I have many more photos to add.
I wish I could go to another establishment but booking .com isn't great with these situations and I would have lost alot of money

- Sylvie (8/5): In general, we spent great time over there. I'll strongly recommend it to a couple without children. - The breakfast wasn't included in the rate. The location is great - easy access to transportation The chair isn't comfortable. Recommend to add another chair
- Dmitry (8/5): Very good -
- Lizeth (8/5): Very good -
- Michele (4/5): Not reccomend - The bed is not the same as the photos and it is too small for two people.
The little garden in front of the apartment it's very dirty.
We have waited one hour in front of the apartment to have the key of the door
- Millar (7/5): Very reasonably priced for what it is 😊 - Host was fantastic, met all out needs and more.
5 minutes walk to overground service to all main london routes, so perfect location for public transport.
Very reasonable accommodation for the price, I think being harsh or slating this property would be wrong, if people want 5 star pay £150plus a night for a hilton... For the price I think this accommodation is brilliant for such a very small price compared to the rest of London 😊
- Sheree (6/5): Dissapointing but potentially very good small apartment. I think the host would have helped with some of my issues but I - location.
Helpful host.
Mostly well equipped for a small studio apartment. List of facilities not accurate :-
No hair dryer (Empty box)
Not completely wheelchair accessible , I am disabled but not in a wheelchair. Bathroom was fine for me but wouldn’t be for a wheelchair user.
Sofa bed not same as photos, too heavy for me to make into a bed, didn’t sleep well.
No bottom sheet.
- Waldenmaier (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (2/5): Backpackers only need apply! - It was handy to the launderette, restaurants and cafes, right in the main St. The room, and I mean room, was 9ft x 10ft with an old 2 piece divan, cushions for pillows and a bedspread that probably was the owners originally. There was the smallest bathroom/ toilet, 3ft x 9ft, a water heater with no instructions on how to use. The TV had a huge crack in the top left making it hard to watch and the room heater had been turned off at the wall making the time it ran while wecwere out during that he day, and off when needed at night! Once again, No instructions on how to operate it! There was a washing machine, but no where to hang out wet clothes making it pointless to use. The microwave was rusty inside.
I contacted the owner and told him of our feelings within the first couple of hours, that we were two elderly people and could not be expected to sleep on a two piece divan with pillows I wouldn't give to a dog. He turned up later with 2 workers who incorrectly assembled a new one piece folding couch/bed and 4 Hospital grade pillows. The next morning after sleeping on the wonky bed, we decided that was enough, we were going to go elsewhere, please give us a refund for 7 of the 8 nights we had booked for. He said that he would find us somewhere else, to give him 15 to 20 mind. After 3 hours of waiting I rang him again and he said he had a 3 bedroom apartment we could move into the following day if we stayed in the "Hackney hovel" one more night! We grudgingly agreed after he showed us photos of the alternative property. We arose the next morning, packed up and cleaned the premises ready for the move to Partington Close, Archway- Islington as promised. Never happened, after 3 text messages sent I finally got a reply saying it would have to be the day after as it was his "Eid" today. At this stage I asked for £400 of the £550 to be returned to my aunts bank in Enfield UK which he promptly did.
Also the wi-fi kept dropping out, another annoying problem.
- Pierrick (3/5): Don't go there as a couple. - The bed is clearly missing a part.
2 people cannot sleep in this bed/couch. I asked the owner and apparently, it's the way it should be. But there is a part of the bed that is on the original photos that was missing.
As you can see on the picture, there is no way 2 people can sleep in there.
Also the place was quite dirty, as you can see in the photos.
Wifi was not working.
- Olawale (7/5): Good - They need to improve on the WiFi provision.
And as regards the facilities a little instruction to knowbhowbto ise it will help
