LUZ SELENIA (5/5): Mi estancia fue buena por la ubicación, aunque tuvo varios detalles que afectaron la comodidad. - Me gustó que está muy cerca del aeropuerto, lo cual facilita mucho el traslado. Además, el agua caliente funcionó bien y fue cómoda durante la estancia. No me agradó que algunos aspectos del alojamiento podrían estar mejor cuidados y mantenidos. También sentí que faltaban ciertos detalles para que la experiencia fuera más cómoda. Las habitaciones individuales no son muy cómodas, especialmente por las escaleras empinadas que dificultan subir maletas grandes y por lo reducido del espacio. También hace falta un restaurante o un área donde tomar algo durante el día o la noche, ya que solo ofrecen un desayuno básico. Además, en las noches hace bastante frío dentro de las habitaciones, a pesar de que no tienen aire acondicionado, lo que afecta la comodidad de la estancia.

Elena (9/5): Superb - Kind staff, delicious food, and nature around the hotel . Plus they have a calm and cute dog. I got an excelent massage from miriam, but sadly the massage room is close to the kitchen, and the noise might distract you. Placing the room in any of the other kiosks from the hotel would definitely solve the problem.

Constable (10/5): Great place to stay - this is a family run place that is so beautiful and so relaxing everybody takes care of you I have trouble getting around Little disabled and they couldn't have been more nice there's nothing that I didn't like it was great it's a relaxing retreat

Lauren (10/5): Perfect stay near Medellin airport - We could not have asked for a more perfect welcome to Colombia. We arrived to the Medellin airport late in the evening, so we wanted something close by, and this was perfect. The property is gorgeous. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Would 1000% stay here again anytime I'm coming in or out of Medellin.

After spending a few days in the city, I was looking for a quiet, peaceful place to unwind/pack before an early flight the next morning. I was so fortunate to have found this listing on booking, which almost seemed too good to be true. All of the prior reviews are spot on! First, Eduardo is the kindest guy ever and he always went the extra mile to make sure I had the best stay. I felt a bit hungry in the evening so he cooked me the best dinner ever even though I ordered last minute. His dog Bravo is the cutest thing ever! He came with me to keep me company while I walked around the huge property in nature. The bed/room was very comfortable, and the food was so so good! Do yourself a favor and don’t miss the opportunity to stay here when visiting Medellin! You’ll be happy you did. I’ll definitely be back again : ) Nothing. It was a perfect stay!

Ever. - Besides the exceptionally kind staff and the lovely rooms, there's a super friendly (but quiet) resident dog, tons of beautiful hummingbirds (and more!), and the most lovely yard/garden to sit in the morning sun and recover from whatever jet lag/travel stress you had. The wifi is unfortunately spotty in places.

His name is Eduardo, from the other reviews, they say he is super kind, great chef, etc., I’m here to tell you, it was the exact opposite. When I gave him my passport, he assumed I was Arab and proceeded to laugh hysterically like a clown, no problem with the Arab part but then the laughing ?? moving on the room, had a spider on the wall and on the floor, which I was so tired that I just killed and didn’t even say anything, that’s not even the worst part in the middle of nowhere with beautiful landscape, they have the TV on full blast with speakers from their makeshift restaurant and it’s a Monday night at 11 PM. Impossible to get a good nights sleep before the airport in the morning with the dog that everyone loves that apparently loves to also bark all night for absolutely nothing, combined with the cold shower that had inconsistent flow, the false advertisement of having a shuttle and being forced to have Eduardo tell me he needs to set his alarm so he can wake up and call the taxi which oh by the way let me tell you he never did. If you’re looking for a quiet place for a one night stay, definitely look elsewhere. If you’re looking to go somewhere in the middle of the day and enjoy the scenery I’m sure it’s a nice place. Melanie (8/5): Very good - My double room was very spacious with a comfortable bed and a big desk. The property is gorgeous. You feel like you are in the middle of a rainforest. Free breakfast was good. The wifi worked well. Easy taxi ride to the airport, which the hostal organizes at a reasonable price. The room price was great for what you get. There’s not much to do around there (not near anything but close to the airport). There was no English speaking staff so I struggled a little to communicate, but that’s my own fault for coming to to Colombia without knowing Spanish. Regardless, I’d stay here again for a one night stay before flying out of MDE.

They love dogs and that was a relief for us 🙂 The breakfast could be better and our room was small, we were 4 people. And the bathroom also a little small.
