• Carly (3/5): Unclean and unmaintained property with poor customer experience to match. - We stayed here for a weekend getaway to celebrate my birthday, but unfortunately the experience was incredibly disappointing. During our stay there was poor weather (which we understood is out of anyone’s control) however during the heavy rain, the apartment flooded (water leaking under the glass doors to the balcony) which meant we spent the first night and following day of our 3 night stay mopping up water and trying to prevent further damage. Despite contacting the emergency line early on the first morning, requesting urgent help to control the flooding - no one came to assist us until over 24hrs later, well after the rain had stopped. To make matters worse, there was severe mould in the pantry and the apartment overall also wasn’t cleaned to an acceptable standard - there were weeds on the balcony, glass shards on the rooftop, dust throughout and windows that clearly hadn’t been cleaned in some time. While a cleaner did eventually attend to remove the severe mould, it was after we’d already stayed 2 out of 3 nights in the property. The most frustrating part of all of this was the poor customer experience and lack of responsibility the host was willing to take. For a property of this price - the standard of both the property and the customer service should be far higher. Book elsewhere - this property and its management is a disappointment.
• Lisl (7/5): Would love to return if the above issues were resolved - The location was fantastic and the views were incredible. No screen doors, which was terrible because there were a lot of flying insects which were all over our bed and bedroom all night long. Bathroom extractor fans were very dirty & dusty. Headboard in main bedroom was lopsided. There was a fair bit of mould on the balcony where the floor joins the wall. Kettle was black inside b4 we cleaned it out with vinegar & boiling water. Two blankets were dirty with visible food residue. Kitchen window winder was broken & window couldn't close properly
• Heath (9/5): Relaxing - Clean, great location, generous proportions and attentive customer service. It seems that the property has been recently refreshed with a paint job and new air conditioner. Lovely waking up each morning to the sound of the waves. For the price, this apartment was a great choice. Reception hours are very limited and we were only provided 1x swipe card for 5 people. Fortunately we found an additional swipe card in the apartment which helped. The terrace lights trip out the apartment lights, so some electrical work needed. The washing machine wasn’t working and the hose was snapped so this needs to be repaired.
• Alana (6/5): Perfect views and lovely spot to relax with friends. - Water views were perfect. Right on the beach and uninterrupted views of the water. We actually saw a whale on our first day there. Place needs a bit of love and care. Towel rail falling off the ensuite bathroom. Tiles and grout look very old. Chord for the blinds in one of the bedroom had broken off the wall. Just a few things that could do with a little fix up.
