• Andrea (10/5): - Die Ferienwohnung liegt auf Giudecca, nah am Wasser & ruhig in einem Innenhof. Sie ist modern und stilvoll eingerichtet. Maria hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen & alles dafür getan, dass wir uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Vielen lieben Dank dafür.

• Sunayana (9/5): Quiet location, away from crowds. - Quiet location, cafe and restaurants close by, no stairs to apartment however it’s split level with a bedroom on 1st floor. Spacious apartment and sunroof with windows. Very close to main visiting center. It’s a bit far from Train station. Microwave wasn’t provided, caused a bit of inconvenience as we couldn’t takeaway leftover food from restaurant to heat up in apartment. TV location wasn’t very convenient for watching due to dining table in the way and 2 seater sofa in living room not sufficient space for family. Allow enough time for checkin as host is very thorough introducing the apartment and features and uses translation app for communicating. Host is very patient helping out if we need something.

• Shifa (10/5): Great, quiet place to stay. - First floor access! Love that. Super close to the water bus station as well, and great food nearby. Very nice host.
• Peter (10/5): This is a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Location is amazing. - Fantastic location nice clean room and the staff was very friendly The sink drain was a little bit slow. Not a big deal.

• Taiseer Joudeh (9/5): - We had a wonderful stay in Venice! The home is in a perfect location peaceful and not crowded, yet easily accessible by water bus, which made getting around very convenient. The house itself is very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We met the host during check-in, and she was very welcoming, providing us with all the details we needed for our stay. There are a few nice restaurants and cafés just a minute’s walk away the nearby pizzeria is especially amazing! I also really enjoyed going for an early 5 KM run each morning with the sea right beside me, such a beautiful and refreshing experience. Highly recommend this place!

L'emplacement du logement est idéal pour visiter Venise, a 4 arrêts en taxi-bateau de la place san marco. L'endroit est au calme , dans un quartier véritablement vénitien loin du tumulte du centre ville.. Le logement dispose de toute les commodités et décoré avec beaucoup de goût, très propre et moderne. • David and Sue (10/5): An absolute gem, perfect for exploring Venice. - The apartment was immaculate, lacking nothing that we might need. The bedrooms are both en-suite with large double beds offering a comfortable night's sleep. Our host Maria was very helpful before and throughout our stay, answering our questions promptly and efficiently, and giving great advice about how and where to travel in the city. The location was fabulous, Giudecca is away from the main tourist areas whilst still offering a range of bars, cafes and restaurants. It was an easy waterbus ride to all the attractions. We'd definitely return if we ever visit Venice again. Nothing not to like!

• Pamela (9/5): Loved it! Would definitely return!! - Our host, Maria, went above and beyond to make us welcome and even rescued us when we’d locked ourselves out one evening. We would return just to see her again! Beds were super comfortable, and the two bathrooms were great. As a base for exploring the area, it was perfect. So happy we chose to stay in Giudecca, which has lovely views and some tranquil places to visit. We really loved to gardens and little bistro situated behind the S. Redentore church! It was fine for the two of us, but the main area is a bit tight, with a two seater sofa and round table with 4 plastic chairs, kitchen and TV in close proximity.

The apartment was very clean and the most well equipped accommodation we have stayed in. We arrived late and she organised us food and drinks as we made our way there. • Josie (9/5): Superb - The location is fabulous, right near a vaporetto stop so VERY easy access to all the main attractions of Venezia. Guidecca is lovely, and so is this apartment. Maria made sure I was greeted when I arrived and had all the information needed to ensure a relaxing stay. The apartment is excellent value for money and was one of the nicest places I stayed in whilst travelling through Europe. I was so happy I found this accommodation and booked it. I can thoroughly recommend it and would stay here again. Only one slight downside, and that was the bed. Mattress was too firm for me, however I found this across most of the accommodation in Europe.

• Pierpaolo (9/5): A lovely nest on the Giudecca! - The location is excellent (my favourite in Venice) and extremely quiet at night, getting outside of the main door always gives a WOW effect. The apartment itself is very nice, the bedrooms are spacious and light-filled. The kitchen/dining/lounging area is a little tight, but there are better places to be than sitting in front of the TV anyway! The apartment was also extremely clean and had everything we needed, including some lovely welcome gifts from our wonderful host. There are many restaurants just off the building (we have dined on most of them, the best quality is offered at Mayer - also for breakfast- and Trattoria Altanella). We also loved the the boat to the center of Venice and also straight to Cannaregio (and then a short walk to Accademia bridge). The many cats that come around to keep you company. The courtesy of the landlady who is always ready to help and had also arranged water taxi transport from the airport. The floor upstairs is quite squeaky and entering the compound there is a smell of sewers at certain times (I am sure this is relevant to most of Venice!). For my own personal taste, the bed was a little too soft, and the pillows could be of a better quality.

• Liat (9/5): Superb - Location, clean, really nicely decorated and furnished, snacks and breakfast and coffee capsules were provided, air conditioned, has a washing machine, the staff met us and gave us a tour and explained about the facility Beds a little too soft for me You must make sure that you close the blinds because the neighbors from above can see you in the bathroom. And also took a little bit of attempts for us to understand how to open up the main gate
• Steven (10/5): Quiet apartment in a great location. - Met at the apartment by the wonderfully friendly and helpful, Maria. She explained everything and provided useful local knowledge. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our 6 day stay (including a bottle of Prosecco). Really quiet setting, and well connected for vaperetto stops to Venice, as well as the bus station. Some lovely local bars and restaurants, offering great value for money. We have visited Venice many times for the Biennale, but it was our first time staying on Giudecca. Will definitely stay again. Feels so much calmer and more authentic than the main island. Great option if you want to live like a local.

It’s across the water from the main island which was very nice. We wanted to be away from the crowds so it was perfect. We also were able to store our bags until our later departure the day of check out. The hosts were very wonderful! I would stay there again 100%

• Julia (10/5): Fabulous apartment in a great location, would definitely return to Maria's place. - The location was perfect to get away from the crowds of Venice. The apartment was light bright and modern, and had everything we needed for our short trip to Venice. We could easily access the island of Venice from Giudecca as well as visiting the smaller islands of Murano & Burano which was well worth the trip. Giudecca had dining options along the front whilst viewing Venice. Perfect location in my opinion! I'm Coeliac and navigating this was a little tricky, Chiara & Maria recommended a pizzeria they knew of for our first night called Dolcemente salato. It was good and only 5€. We then found Foca just left out of the apartment. This alo did glutenfree pizza for 6€ it was very good! This was adequate for our short stay. I'm sure we would have found others had we been staying longer. But unfortunately it's never easy to travel as a Coeliac!
