Guest Reviews
- Abdulaziz (10/5): - I have stayed for 29 days
Beautiful and comfortable place with excellent service and very kind people . I really enjoyed my stay and for sure will stay there again None
- Daniel (10/5): - Super quality apartment, good furnishings, amazing bathroom.
- Ricardo (1/5): Terrible - Nothing terrible experience didn't even stay couldn't contact the apartment managers all the phone numbers listed where out of service shocking! Very poor and a very poor reflection on booking.com Nothing. Wasn't able to stay there as couldn't contact anyone looking forward to an immediate refund!
- Gareth (1/5): Scam alert. Do not use. Scam alert. Dodgy people. - The cleaner managed to get our deposit back.
The scam landlord just called me a "nonce". What a gentleman. Perhaps this is considered "luxury" where he comes from.
Either way, I will be contacting the police in 6 hours to report him and the Pilipino who was helping to organise the scam.
For any potential victims: the place is a dump and these people will be reported to the police this evening unless my entire fee is returned. Do not allow this type of behaviour in England.
Ha! He's just tried to tell booking.com that I broke the blind even though Sandrine has already reviewed the shithole and said they were broken last year! :D He's not too smart. This is a scam. The apartment is not the one in the advert. The positive reviews are made up by the owner. Scam alert.
I arrived at the property address given on the listing. It did not exist. I was told to go to a different address where there will be a key box. There was no key box and I was told to walk miles with my luggage to a dodgy vape shop to get the key. I walked back to the house and the key didn't work. The Philipino lady told a Turkish man to get an Uber over to replace the key from the Algerian in the vape shop. Classic England. I waited for 2 hours outside on the door step for him and he couldn't even be bothered to get out of his car.
Then I entered the "Luxury Apartment"...
By the way, a luxury apartment would have a lift rather than making guests walk up four flights of stairs but here's a list of some the other problems. In no particular order:
The curtains let the light through so as soon as the sun comes up we were woken up.
The noise is terrible. Either from the courtyard, the road or other flats. Every floorboard creaks and disturbs people.
The bed is very creaky and noisy.
There is mould on the shower screen.
The blinds in the lounge are broken and have holes. One of them was held up with tape and fell off when we tried to open it.
The well in the parapet in front of the window is full of rubbish.
There is no balcony.
There is no TV as shown on the advert/listing.
The furniture is trash and not suited to a luxury apartment.
The finishes are terrible. Lots of chipped paint and unfinished paint/varnish. Very poor.
There are only two towels for 3 people for 2 nights! Pathetic.
Many light bulbs were missing which is very dangerous and looks terrible.
There are bedsheets drying in the corridor like a student house.
I've got so many photos of this dump for the police to look at.

- Janine (10/5): - Good size of apartment, nicely decorated, shops nearby and a short walk to Oxford Street.
- Paul (6/5): -
- Laura (10/5): Central location with lots of transport options Luxury kitchen appliances - The location was excellent, buses and tubes nearby. Lots of places to eat. Not many pubs but they weren’t too far away. Lovely bathroom but not spa bath. There was a washing machine but this was not advertised.
The balcony although small had views of London Eye.
The lift was amazing. There was no free coffee as advertised but they did try and organise for delivery but we were out. Also clothes maiden full of wet washing on arrival which was odd. Told not to wear shoes inside which is fine but they should provide free slippers for that price. I think that the towels were not luxury enough for the price. Download the instructions before getting there are the signal in the street wasn’t the best.

- Leilani (9/5): Convenient, comfortable, modern apartment for central stay in London - 2 a/c units were excellent to have during hot weather. Elevator handy for reaching apartment level. Decent sized apartment and a small balcony. Quiet considering it faces Edgeware Road. Close to tube and bus stops. Walkable from Hyde Park and a variety of restaurants and vintage stores in Marylebone and Church street. Some basic amenities were missing like coffee pods for coffee maker, black tea, sugar. Couldn’t locate a kitchen cloth for wiping dishes so used a regular hand towel. Only one dishwasher cube provided even though we were there for 3 days. Needs a dedicated shower mat to step out onto bathroom floor so had to use a bath towel. Non-slip strips in bathtub need removing and replacing with new ones as current ones are peeling off and may clog the drain. Property mgmt was appreciative of my input and offered to see what they could do while we were there. These were small details but they add up so I felt it worth mentioning so future guests will have an improved experience. It was on the higher side of what we normally pay for renting places but for London, it was probably normal.
- Agatha (10/5): Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely come back. Highly recommended! - We absolutely loved our stay in this apartment! It was cosy, super comfortable, and perfectly located to explore London. The place was really well equipped and had everything we needed. On top of that, the host was incredibly helpful and attentive when we needed assistance. We’d definitely come back and highly recommend it! A few small things could be improved to make the stay even better: some of the blinds could use a bit of maintenance, a few saucepans weren’t compatible with the induction hob, and having a couple of European plug adapters available would be a nice touch.
- Meta (5/5): We don't recommend this flat. - Pros...near a tube station, nice bathroom, nice fridge. As a woman, I felt fearful in this neighborhood. The owner sent a long list of items when damaged (blood stains,etc..ridiculous and offensive list) would result in a fee. Although I booked through Booking.com, I had repeated requests for an extra $300 security deposit for possible damages before our stay. I refused to pay this. The owner made us afraid to even step into the property before our stay. The stove top worked on only one pan which was not a frying pan and not nonstick. All of the frying pans were useless. The microwave smoked when used for the first time. We were concerned it was a fire risk. I cleaned it out, and the smoke subsided. No directions for use of the cooktop, the AC, the TV. No TV. All window coverings can't be opened because the string ties are all broken. Terrible pillows. There is a bad smell in the apt. We were expected to wash all dishes, take out trash and put towels in the wash machine before leaving. I would not recommend staying here. I will stay in a hotel next time I'm in London.
- Chih (4/5): Disappointing - None We dont even stay for 3 nights, we move to another hotel 20 min after we check in the apartment and dont even go back. It is much different with what we saw on booking.com. We ask owner if we can get refund at least for one night, so he can rent to other guest, but the answer is "No". The apartment was left empty for 3 night. It is my very first time and first night in London, England and we were so disappointed.
- Jennifer (9/5): It was good. A bit of a noisy location. - Easy to access after receiving check in information. I guess I failed to fill out the information so that I could receive check in information? It did create a bit of a stir after a 10 hour flight to London.
- Ahmed (4/5): Disappointed - The price The housekeeping was bad there is spiders near the windows, the smell of the apartment was bad, the bed was uncomfortable and the pillow need to be change, the elevator was not working during my stay which is five nights, This flat in the third floor and I carried on my luggage which was really bad and disappointing.
I complained about the elevator but no one came to fix it.
- Apurva (6/5): Much to be desired. They should definitely improve for the amount they are charging. - Location is great. Just off Edgeware Road in Central London. Lift was out of order for the entire stay. Apartment is on the 3rd floor of a 100 year plus old building with a high ceiling. Building and flat is modern and well kept. Housekeeping was below average. Heating controls too complicated. Had to run aircon to just reduce the heating. Washer is old and does not dry clothes at all. Coffee machine is not Nespresso normal and needs special capsules.
- Daniel (10/5): Perfect property, close to transport links. - The property was excellently presented and well appointed. It was spacious and perfect for what I needed. The cleaning was spotless and the info shared in the check in instructions was detailed and comprehensive. I would look out for this location again in future stays and bookings. The apartment overs views over the city and sits within its own secure building that was well presented and kept really well. The property was on the front of the building and on a vibrant road, it was a little noisy if you are a light sleeper.
- Jeffrey (9/5): Superb - great apartment close to transit Heating controls were not documented and took some figuring out. Host took feedback for next visitor so it should improve.
- Rashid (9/5): Superb -
- Virginia (9/5): Moder, comfortable apartment close to the metro - I really liked the spaces in the apartment, new facilities, aremodeled, modern apartment, Iwas there in winter and the heating was great. Therewas noise from the street at night
- Maeda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zahra (10/5): Excellent - Everything is good I ask for extra 2 hours and I got refused
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Abdullah (9/5): Superb -
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional - Really modern and clean
- Roshanay (9/5): Would stay here again. Visited london for the first time and would highly recommend it. - Location was amazing very clean and comfortable
- Helen (8/5): Great accommodation in good location. - The kitchen was exceptionally well planned & liked the seating area. Cupboards in bathroom great.
Conveniently positioned, liked walks to Canal. Shower head needs descaling!
- Denys (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicolas (10/5): Magnificent, I felt at home! - The apartment is incredible, spacious, lots of natural light. Very nice decoration.
Kitchen is very practical and aesthetic.
The bathroom is big and comfortable with heaters for towels, the bathroom mirror is amazing and the shower as well.
It has everything you need and the owner is super friendly! Everything! The amount of space, the distribution, it’s very clean and comfortable.
- Louk (10/5): Good place to stay not far from metro and pleasant feeling - Good location and high standard of equipment. The apartment was part of a quality building. Some small adjustments I would make in some cooking tools
- Suzanne (10/5): Exceptional - Location was great, close to tube station to get into city center. The apartment was great, very clean, lots of space and everything you need for a comfortable stay.
- Angeline (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was clean, well equipped and comfortable. It was well located being a short walk to Edgware Road underground station znd was a good base for both our trips to Wembley Stadium and Covent Garden.
- H. (9/5): Superb - The apartment is great, basically but completely furnished. Location is excellent in an international lively environment, with a few stops to the city center for business and holiday. Hosts communicate like they are the helping neighbours, great!
- Kirsty (9/5): Superb -
- Leah (9/5): Superb - Spacious , clean , close to transport and restaurants You will receive entry details before you arrive, which will suggest that there is a key with a fob . There is no fob, which means you will have to call the host who will provide an alternative entry approach. Apparently the fob was due to be replaced, but having read other guest feedback it is evident that the fob has been missing for quite some time. Batteries for the air conditioning have not been replaced albeit feedback was provided by another guest weeks ago . This means that the setting is 25 degrees and you will not be able to change it .
The lock on the balcony door is faulty which means that you may not be able to open the door
- Joy (6/5): Nice flat but encountered a lot issues - Access was good, an issue addressed that I flagged
Good location for access to shops
Good quality finishing in the apartment Hosting could have been better - no information on check in until 7pm day of (perhaps some assumptions on the part of the host since I stayed the prior week), complaints I made about the AC weren’t addressed at all.
Place was not thoroughly cleaned, unlike the last time I stayed
The combination of noise from the streets, lighting from the window and heat due to non functional ACs (when it states so in the title of this apartment AND I had complained about this previously) made it that I couldn’t sleep well whilst I was there and had a negative impact on my stay.
- Zazafilm1 (9/5): Superb -
- Joy (8/5): Lovely apartment & location, some teething concerns - I liked the area, used to live down the road so it’s very familiar and convenient
The flat was clean and the bed comfortable
Overall looked like the pictures, finishing looks good Major
(1) I didn’t find the communication to be great. The fob was problematic and frustrating, at some point was outside at night and spent 15 mins trying to get into the flat. Tried calling the host but no answer instead I got a text, I found that frustrating.
(2) The window in the bedroom let’s light in despite the blinds and I found that the light woke me up. Also not sure if its double glazed as sirens, loud noises are audible
(3) The ACs didn’t seem to be working but it could be that the remote needs new batteries.
Minor - there was a drying hanger in the living room that I think should be put away
Overall I think this flat has the potential to be great if these issues are addressed, even the ones I consider major to me, are issues that aren’t complex to sort. I’ll be staying there again in < 2 weeks and hoping for an improved experience!
- Silvia (8/5): Very good -
- Steven (10/5): Would book again it was perfect for us - It was very clean and new with plenty of room. Close to bus stops and subway. The owner was very nice.
- Estrabon (10/5): 10/10 my go to place when I visit next time. - Staying at this apartment was like finding a hidden treasure! The balcony offered a great view that made my morning. Inside, the cozy vibes and trendy decor won me over. So far its the best one one I tried yet. I'll leave or update my review the next time I visit.
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - Cosy retreat. Flat is brand new with AC!
- Liz (10/5): Superb - Superb flat, really close to edgware road station. Has AC which is very rare to have in London!
Would definitely be visiting soon. Great spot for holiday and business. Nothing to mention
