Gemütliche Betten, saubere und angenehme Duschen und Toiletten (Waschmaschine und Trockner vorhanden). Im obersten Stock ist ein gemütlicher Aufenthaltsraum mit Möglichkeiten für Kaffe am Morgen oder Bierchen am Abend. Die Lage ist Top mit gutem Anschluss an die UBahn. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und hoffen, bald wieder kommen zu können!

The wardrobe needs a card to open. The front desk staff are very friendly and are available from 8 am to 1 am. You can order drinks or cocktails. There is also a music area in the hostel. The bathroom is very comfortable, and the shower has hot and cold water, as well as shampoo and body wash. You can see the mountain trail from the door - it's great! • Anne (10/5): - The location is unbeatable, on a hill at the entrance of Mountain Valley. There are so many places to eat, drink, and see within walking distance and so many young people stay. There’s also a great lounge to hang and work in. They give you a towel, slippers, and offer laundry service. One of the more comfortable beds I’ve slept in across China. However, if you have a lot of luggage bring locks because it most likely won’t fit in your locker.

• Alessandro (7/5): - I’ve booked this accomodation after a very pleasent stay in the same branded hostel in Xi’An. To be honest I was a bit disappointed, this hostel wasn’t like the one in Xi’An. The room and the common spaces were so much smaller and cleaning was a little bit more superficial. Staff had some difficulties in speaking in English and not very enthusiastic. Said so the price is very affordable and the accomodation is very well located and handy to reach most sightseeing locations in Chongqing.

• Hosne (8/5): This Desti hostel was my least favorite but I am a fan of the chain as a whole. Even this place was great value for mone - With Desti, you know the property is going to be clean, youthful and in a very convenient place for exploring the city. This Desti location was my least favorite out of all the ones I stayed in. It’s uphill and there are no elevators so if you have multiple luggages or even a heavy one, the struggle is real!

• Pei Yan (9/5): Roomy Hostel - The hostel has very interesting strategic location right on the embarkation of popular sightseeing. It was easy to find its secluded spot even I checked in past midnight. The staff were friendly. The best spot was the fourth floor lobby, spacious bar counter with fruity beers. Nursing one pint of the beer from tap was pretty much chillaxing end of a long day. The decor framed a variety of instagrammable corners. Love the ambience this hostel created! The tiles in the female shower rooms might need more effort to scrub away the stains. Else, all were good overall.

• Barbora (7/5): Gut - Gemeinschaftsbereich ist sehr nett und die meisten Mitarbeiter sprechen auch gut englisch. Die meisten waren auch extrem lieb und hilfsbereit. Eine hat mir sogar ein Dumpling geschenkt, weil ich einen extrem miesen Tag hatte 🥹🥹🥹 Ich war jetzt in drei Destis und dieses hatte die absolut schlechteste Anleitung, wie man hinkommt. Ich habe die ganze Zeit gefragt, ob es die Adresse ist, die mir in Amap angezeigt wird und die haben nicht ja gesagt und mir nicht wirklich gesagt, wie ich hinkomme. Stattdesses habe ich eine chinesische Anleitung bekommen. Auf Wechat konnten wir uns nicht verbinden. Am Ende habe ich das Desti in Chengu gefragt, ob sie mir den Standort schicken können und es war die richtige Adresse wie im Amap. Das hätte mir echt viel Ärger erspart. Generell war die Unterkunft, nicht so einladend wie die anderen 2 Destis, die ich besucht habe. Vor allem die Badezimmer, Schimmel in der Waschmaschine. Dann habe ich auch nicht gewusst, dass die Rezeption erst um 8 öffnet, nicht wie an den anderen Standorten, wo sie 24h geöffnet ist.

The staff was really helpful with all the troubles I experienced during my holiday. The room was fine. I didn’t like the showers - which have no place to hold your stuff while using them - and the toilets. • Anej (10/5): Perfect hostel, beautiful spot. - Perfect hostel, friendly staff, lots of beer available. Everything was clean. They also have some events and a place for live music. Right in one of the main scenic spots, so you don't have to go far for some evening tourist walks. A bit of a walk from the subway. It's not that bad, but if visiting in summer the walk can get very hot. Odd pavement, not recommended for those with difficulty walking.

The online maps place it in different locations depending on the app you use. It’s best to search on line for Shancheng lane and mati street if your google map works and it’s located above the tea house called Chagee right at the neighborhood hilly entrance.

Also, nice and central only a 20 min walk from the city centre with very good subway connections. Staff were all lovely and seemed like a close community, they had an open mic night. My bed was comfy and liked that we got a bottle of water given each day and a towel. Quite liked the location and near to the metro station but also not too far from the centre of town. I felt the showers could have been cleaner and the washing machines caused flooding the toilets. I got a little lost when I arrived and I think just adding a little more detail that the hostel is up the stairs and next to the Chagee would be helpful - the sign to the hostel is hard to spot initially and the map will drop you at the road and its not clear from the instructions you need to walk up the stairs to find the hostel.

• Minyang915 (10/5): Exceptional Service - My third stay with Desti in this trip, exceptional hostel that provide super thick towels and a bottle of mineral water for each day of stay. The branch has the best hostel vibe, with chessboard and board games available and also pool table to mingle around. Staff is also exceptional, allowing me to take shower at the night after checkout and even gave me a fresh towel for that.
• Kinga (9/5): Good, affordable and comfortable stay. - The property is great. I really like the building and common spaces. The bed was comfy. There are plugs and towels and a small safe locker provided. The location is close to the metro station and walking distance from attractions and good food places. The bathrooms were, most of the time quite messy. Either clogged toilets or dirty sinks but it’s mostly on the people using them who just were leaving mess behind. The internet, at least for me, was quite patchy.
