• Regan (10/5): - The location. The apartment layout and spacious and comfortable The apartment wasnt very clean upon arrival. Dirty utensils and mugs. Didn't look like it had been vacuumed.
• Sally (3/5): - Was great location Unfortunately, our stay was impacted by a major issue with a basic amenity. The toilet was continuously running the entire time, creating a constant loud flushing/refilling noise that was clearly audible throughout the property, including overnight. This made it difficult to relax and sleep. While the host acknowledged the issue, it was not resolved during the stay and no meaningful compensation was offered. This was disappointing, as a functioning and usable bathroom is a fundamental expectation.

• Cheynea (10/5): Greta location and friendly team - The location was perfect, close to everything we needed such as concert location, AFL game and cafe/shops. The communication was excellent with the staff and they went above and beyond to meet our check in time. The pool/sauna facilities were under maintenance however I can understand this was out of the hosts control and not their fault. We were too busy enjoying Melbourne anyway.

It was advertised with parking available, however they do not provide parking. We would also prefer a top sheet on the bed rather than just a doona.

• Norma (10/5): I would recommend this apartment as the location is excellent close to Crown Casino and only 5 minute walk to tram or 20 - The property was in a fantastic location, very close to Crown Casino where dining is available as well as shops and cinemas. The property was well appointed and very comfortable and provided everything we needed. The shower floor tiles were quite slippery so we made sure to be very careful. A rubber mat provided would solve that problem for those who may wish to use one.

• Nicole (8/5): A stylish comfortable apartment. - The accommodation was in a very convenient location, just a short distance from both the casino and the convention centre, which made getting around incredibly easy. The property also had a wonderful pool that looked inviting, even though I didn’t have time to make use of it during my stay. The reception area had a lovely, welcoming fragrance that created a great first impression. The only downsides were that our apartment was supplied with just one key, which made coordinating a little inconvenient, and there wasn’t any close, secure parking available for unloading our luggage from the rental car.
• Olivia (1/5): Not Convenient - Spacious rooms and modern feel with nice views. Location is primo. No parking nearby (even though property description says parking included), we were directed to use a Wilson complex across the street which looked very rundown and I couldn’t get my small car over the broken driveway. No milk provided to make a coffee. Bed sheets weren’t clean there was hair on pillows. You had to pick the key up from local convenience store at the bottom of building. The additional admin bits of key pick up and parking just doesn’t make it a smooth stay.

• Aimee (4/5): Not as advertised. - The building, location and facilities No towels for the facilities that the property promoted in their ads (pool, sauna, spa). This is inconvenient as you dont want to be using sweaty sauna /chloriney pool towels after having a shower. Marks and stains on the couch, bed cushions and rugs. The pillows were stained yellow. Couldn't get aircon to work. No information on how to operate. Advised owner. Still didn't work despite her instructions of telling us to point remote at unit. Couldn't get the Washing machine to work at first, had to contact owner. She said we needed to flick a switch on a wall in the lounge room which would then let the washing machine in another room work. There should have been instructions for this as Noone would know that. The washing machine also walked out of its spot when being used which was a hassle. Furniture was broken. Tv cabinet and a leg on the couch. Tv didn't work. The remote was stuck on or something. Owner dropped a remote to us at 10pm on the 2nd night. Property advertised for 3 beds. (Sofa bed) Got there and the couch was just a couch with no bedding. Had to explain to cleaner and owner that we paid and booked for 4 adults. 2 kids. And it clearly states on the listing ad that there was 3 beds. Grateful that the cleaner left a blow up bed, a bottom sheet , 2 pillows and a blanked with a brown stain on it for my son. Doesn't look like it gets washed between guests. (No top sheet so my son had to sleep directly under the stained blanket. It was a bit of back and forth to get the blow up bed bought up. If it was advertised as having 3 beds (sofa bed) surely the couch should be clean and without stains. The listing photos actually show covers but they weren't on it when we arrived. And the 'sofa' did not fold out. I asked the Owner to bring a top sheet so my son didn't have to sleep under an unwashed blanket, and asked where abouts the pool towels were and was advised it's not a motel.

• Kelly (7/5): Good - Really good access to crown, beautiful building, great pool area, very spacious and clean apartment. Beautiful view from the all windows of the apartment. Building is located right off a busy intersection, making it tricky for luggage drop off. Heating in the living area does not go all the way to the bedrooms, one portable heater was not enough and was not heating up the bedroom over night, iron and washing machine was not working as well. Coffee pods were not available for Nespresso coffee machine and could not be purchase at the supermarket either.

I have been waiting for over a month to get my $300 deposit back which the host insisted we transfer before being able to access the keys.

• Helen (5/5): Diappointed. We won't return due to appalling communication and the rigmarole for parking/check-in. - The actual apartment is lovely. It was spacious and clean and has marvellous views. Location is great. The air-conditioner didn't work, so we were cold. Also, the keys had to be picked up from a corner store, who asked for a pin which was different to the instructions we were given. They also took a photo of my ID. The disappointing bits were that it was marketed as having private parking - which turned out to be the Casino parking a fair distance away and $25, not revealed until after booking even though I messaged specifically saying we would need parking. It was a major hike with luggage and mobility issues. In addition, I had to pay a $300 bond beforehand via bank transfer and send a screenshot as proof of payment and a copy of photo ID. I was pretty uncomfortable with this. It was stated this would be returned on day of checkout BUT it took a lot of pestering to get it back and it took a week. This was also not revealed until after booking. Communication was appalling - very slow to respond and did not answer phone calls.

Booking should be ashamed to allow guest to stay in this apartment. - The view but all the other problems encountered the view was not worth booking this accommodation -Had to transfer $300 bond money into owners account, didn’t realise until booking secured and unable to change our mind. Then had to continued to email them to ask my bond money back. * Don’t believe like website says same day. -check what a nightmare. No message sent with details on checking in had to call 3 times till someone finally answered. Had to go across to the supermarket to get the key. Owner in the end had to call to tell the shop owner it was okay to give the key - parking - the website states there is parking. They have no idea about the parking and could not provide me with accurate information. Public parking which is a good 20min walk - No heat in apartment, could see a split system unit but no remote control. - no dryer to dry towel from pool, washing machine didn’t work - no bins in toilet to provide for ladies sanitary needs - only two people at a time can use the pool/spa facilities, only told after booking placed. Spa cold so pointless (not owners fault) - cooking utensil poor stand/no clothes to wipe benches - left over tea/coffee/no milk

Also there were no instructions on how to work - Loved how spacious the apartment was and very comfortable and clean There was supposed to be onsite parking that we were told needed to be reserved however we were then told parking was across the road at crown but it was not nearby and multi level car park was on the other side which was too far to walk with luggage so that was disappointing. There was closer crown parking but it was $50 or you had to be platinum member. Not sure why it stated onsite parking where there was none
• Craig (8/5): Great unit in great location but bond payment and refund needs to be done via Booking.com and not separately. - $300 bond. While the bond payment was clearly listed, the refund process needs to be better. It was described as in cash on check out which was not possible as the keys are returned to the convenience store where they are initially collected. Refund took over a week and required several messages to the host including a further message as still no refund 3 days after provision of our bank details.
• Isabella (2/5): Overall not the best apartment we have stayed at a bit disappointing with the lack of communication as I needed to follo - Nice view and close proximity to everything, comfy bed and pillows No heating in bedrooms, window & door seals not sealed properly so ice cold air coming through seals. Poo/wee splattered on lower wall next to toilet in the girls bathroom and manky wall across or bed. Not notified of only one key/fob to share between 4 people. Large wet patch on carpet that remained wet for the full 4 days stay and stunk. Whole apartment stunk for the whole duration. Not notified of washing machine not working. Iron so old and burnt that it left marks on pants. Overall lack of communication from apartment hosts including lack of communication to recover bond.

There are two bedrooms with their own bathrooms, at opposite ends of the apartment, so spot on for 2 couples.

Pool, spa, sauna and steam room so wonderful too. Booked it as the ad said there was parking on site, there wasn’t. It meant we had to park in crown casino and do multiple trips to unpack with the kids. Not enough towels.

Took a while to be able to get the key out of the door lock, there's a bit of a trick to it! A little disappointed to find out only the day before that only two people at a time can use the pool/sauna - that was a big reason for booking the property and there were five of us.

• Anthony (10/5): Great views and a relaxing place to stay in a central location. - As two friends travelling together, it was perfect. Spacious and both bathrooms are a good size. The views and location are awesome. Plus the pool/sauna access was a huge plus. Would stay again :) Property was perfect!! Only minor inconvenience is there was no bag drop when we arrived a few hours before checkin. Not a big issue and the host did provide details of the nearest locker service which was about a 15 minute walk away.
• Fendi (1/5): Disappointing experience with inadequate heating and deposit refund delay - I recently stayed for 5 nights at this apartment on our family holidays and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I feel it's important to share my feedback to help other travelers make informed decisions. Firstly, the apartment's heating system was a major letdown. During my stay in winter, I was shocked to discover that the heating was only available in the living room, leaving the two bedrooms without any form of heating. With temperatures dropping to around 5 degrees Celsius in the evening, the bedrooms were freezing, making it extremely difficult to sleep comfortably. The host’s solution was to provide us with two tiny portable heaters, which did provide some warmth but were incredibly noisy. The constant loud sound disrupted our sleep and made it challenging, especially for our kids. Furthermore, the use of these portable heaters resulted in the bedrooms becoming excessively dry, further adding to our discomfort. On top of the heating issue, I am deeply disappointed with the delay in the refund of the $300 deposit I provided upon check-in. Despite being assured that the deposit would be returned, I have not received it even after 10 days and multiple attempts to inquire about its status. The lack of response and transparency regarding the deposit refund is unacceptable. Overall, my stay at this apartment was marred by the inadequate heating in the bedrooms, the disruptive noise and dryness caused by the portable heaters, and the frustrating delay in receiving my deposit refund. I had expected a comfortable and hassle-free experience, but unfortunately, that was not the case. I hope my review serves as valuable feedback for both the property owner and potential guests. I believe it's essential for improvements to be made in terms of providing adequate heating facilities and ensuring prompt and transparent refund processes.

• Neil (9/5): Terrific stay despite the wet and cold weather. - Location was good with only a short walk to everything. Access was secure and all amenities worked as expected. Very clean and tidy. Weather prevented us from using the balcony but would be awesome in warmer times of the year. View from all windows, especially at night, was awesome. We arrived early and were permitted to access early. Very minor, but we had to figure out which security tokens on the keys were used for each service, and how to use the elevators. Wasn’t too difficult but would have been good to know beforehand.

• Donna (9/5): Superb - The place was beautiful and clean. Had the most amazing view too. The only thing I could say that needed improvement was the utensils and cookware to cook with. It has a gorgeous big kitchen but extremely minimal things to use in it. I cooked an extremely basic meal in it and it was hard as the basics were very minimal. It didnt put me off from staying here again though. I just assumed it would have a bit more as it has a full kitchen. Noted for next time we stay though. No fault of the owner but the rule of no use of pool after 8pm is a little rough too. By the time we got back from being out all day we would have loved a quick dip and it was still light outside but apparently too late to go to the pool. 9pm would be more fair I think.

The building is super quiet, it's very clean and I love the little things they have thought of ie Toothbrushes in bathrooms. I'll definitely look this place up next time we come to Melbourne.
