Guest Reviews
- Margaret (8/5): -
- BK (8/5): Great Pub Accommodation - Perfect stay for the one night after a long drive. Comfortable bed which was what I needed and being able to have a dinner right there at the pub was great.
- John (7/5): -
- Thomas (3/5): Suitable for overnight stay - Not much Paper cups in the restaurant. No cutlery in room
- Greg (8/5): -
- Sandra (9/5): My Edward River Hotel Stay - The Edward River Hotel was a great place to stop and unwind after driving. The staff and the people in the pub were friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed dinner that evening.
- Susan (9/5): The staff were wonderful and the building so full of character. - The staff really made my stay, so down to earth, gently spoken, and charming. I felt instantly at home. The hotel is old - almost 150 - and it shows, but for me this added to the character of the building. It felt more like an experience than a stay, and I loved it. It is being renovated now, but I hope it retains a lot of this old country pub character. I’d stay again in a flash. Because of the super high ceilings, it took a long time to heat the room.
- Marek (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sherryll (10/5): Chris and Tegan are Ledgends - Incredible hospitality Nothing
- Myles (9/5): Comfortable and affordable stay - One of the nicest and cleanest shared bathrooms I have used in a pub.
- Gazzara (8/5): Very good -
- Brett (5/5): Passable -
- Binhua (4/5): Disappointing - Only one toilet & bath for all the rooms, besides the toilet, bath and water are in one door.
The room is big but no water is in it, and no window towards outside.
Besides some rooms look like renting out for longer living because a few pairs of shoes are outside of the door.
The toilet room has been busy until 12am.
Compared to the price I am satisfied with hotel.
- Sears (8/5): Very good -

- Michael (1/5): The room was so bad that once I’d moved my gear in I just couldn’t stay - Nothing Pub was closed and owner just didn’t show up. Room had no windows, poor air con and a raft of issues that made the accommodation totally unacceptable
- Brenton (7/5): Very surprising, chose because ground level rooms - Nil Brekky but evening meal on arrival above average Pub Fare and reasonably priced Not Pubs fault but no Channel 7 in area

- Martin (8/5): Deniliquin 2024 - Great old pub atmosphere. The room was ok, bed comfortable, and a good selection of pillows and bed was cumphy. The publican was a nice guy to talk to. Helpful. The lamb cutlet meal was over priced. The veggies are bad packet stuff. Cutlets were nice but small.
- Shaun (9/5): Superb -

No honeymoon suite!!!

- Brian (8/5): The Buncha - Chris and the Buncha are a great place. It was a pretty miserable night and Chris had the heater on in my room, very thoughtful. This place was refurbished couple of years ago. Clean and cheap. But good stay.
Not my first and certainly not my last.
Thanks again Chris Not sure meals are running during the week. But there's lots of places to eat in Deni
- Elizabeth (1/5): Bad - Good location
Staff (Chris) was friendly Well, where do I start?:
- “Shared” bathroom - looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in 2 yrs. The bins in there were full of peoples food and other disgusting items. Towels were supposed to be provided in the shared bathroom. Any towels I saw were already used and bunched up in the corner of the room.
- The Room - I don’t see the point of providing a kettle with no mugs or anything to drink from. The pillows on the bed smelt like unwashed hair, stale & sticky. I had to hook up the TV myself as nothing was connected.
I could go on & on, but not enough time.
I booked this room for 3 nights and only stayed 1.
- Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional - very last minute stay for us, great little place. the owner is very welcoming and extremely friendly. highly recommend
- Chris (8/5): Very good - Chris the publican owner was very friendly.
