babanedu60 (6/5): Moyen - L'accueil et l'entretien des lieux. La cour commune avec barbecue, beaucoup de verdure,le prêt des vélos. Environnement très bruyant : voisins et passages routiers. Équipement cuisine appelé kitchenette ne correspond pas..pas de possibilité de cuisson même de base (très peu d'ustensiles). Aucune casserole ni poêle, ni réchaud. En résumé pas de cuisine possible, uniquement un micro-ondes pour réchauffer. Environnement et accès plage médiocre et pas très propre . Il faut traverser la route pour y accéder.

Der Preis der Unterkunft ist viel zu hoch für das was man bekommt. Es gibt kein Roomservice, die Betten sind alt und es gibt keine richtige Rezeption.

Wolfgang (7/5): Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis - Die Außenanlage der Unterkunft bietet eine sehr gute Möglichkeit, sich in der Unterkunft aufzuhalten, ohne das (recht kleine) Zimmer dafür nutzen zu müssen. Gut geeignet, z.B. um abends draußen zu sitzen und ein Gläschen zu trinken. Die Lage ist günstig, denn man muss nur die Straße überqueren, um einen sehr schönen Strand zu erreichen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut. Das Zimmer erfüllt den Zweck, einigermaßen bequem - ohne die Erwartung von größerem Komfort - zu übernachten. Unser Zimmer war klein (wie in der Beschreibung erwähnt) und einigermaßen abgelebt. Eine Renovierung täte ihm gut.

Don63 (9/5): Hop into Hopkins - Hopkins is gateway to many activities. Due to the flat terrain, i recommend use of a pushbike provided by the host. Water in the room is a sweet add on and a shared shelf in the courtyard of sunsprays is unique. Thank you. Nothing.. it flowed
MacLagan (6/5): It was OK, the staff made it bearable but we were a little disappointed. - The room and bathroom were nice and clean, and the staff were great. Nice that there were beach towels and a few beach chairs to borrow, and also being able to use the bicycles was very handy. Quite close to a lot of basic restaurants and not too far to walk along the beach to the fancy resorts for a nicer breakfast and good coffee. We paid, if I remember correctly from 3 months ago, an upgrade to get "kitchen " facilities: this was not the case! Luckily the manager, 'Junior', was able to lend us a hot plate so we could at least make tea, after we bought our own kettle, ( you can't make tea with a coffee percolator!) and occassionally make simple breakfasts. But this place is right on the main Hopkins road, between 2 speed bumps, so the high noise level from lots of traffic accelerating/decelerating early in the morning and well into the evening took a lot of getting used to. Also the noise from the neighbours to the north and the dogs barking was bad at times. The claim that it was, I think it said, "76 paces to the beach" was only accurate if you were 7' 8" and were practicing leaps all the way, after checking for traffic that didn't obey basic rules! We did get used to road rules: there were none in Hopkins. We cannot complain at all about staff service - they were pleasant and helpful.
Jorian (9/5): Knus verblijf dicht bij het strand en leenfietsen om de rest te verkennen. - Fijn klein hotel met een mooie binnenplaats. Er waren voldoende handdoeken met een fijne en warme douche. Er staat ook een koelkast, magnetron, toaster, koffiezetapparaat en genoeg gefilterd water op de kamer. Zeker een meerwaarde! Het personeel is ook heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam zodra je een vraag hebt. Fietsen staan er om te lenen om zo door hopkins te kunnen verplaatsen. Helaas wordt er pas na drie nachten een keer gepoetst. Hoewel ik de redenen begrijp zouden nieuwe handdoeken na twee dagen wel fijn zijn.

Scott (8/5): Great place! Would stay again - Great location. Near beach and many of restaurants. Very nice common area with sitting area and hammocks. Drinking water provided. Bikes to borrow. Staff was great, answered questions. No TV in our room. But we weren't on vacation to watch TV
Herman (8/5): - The staff was friendly, grounds looked great with nice sitting area's. Kitchen was well equipped with lots of utensils and therefore preparing your own meal was easy. Comfortable beds and a great shower.
Christoph (9/5): - Das Hotel ist stylisch (Surfer-Attitüde), das Zimmer war gut, mit gutem WLAN und Klimaanlage. Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Der Strand ist ganz nah, es gibt Handtücher und Außenduschen. In der Nähe gibt es Restaurants, ich empfehle Innie's, die servieren auch gutes Frühstück. Es ist relativ ruhig, ich bräuchte keine Ohropax. Ein Trinkwasserspender war auf dem Zimmer vorhanden. Ich war 3 Nächte dort und das Zimmer wurde in dieser Zeit nicht gereinigt/Bett gemacht o.ä. Ich hätte mir einen Shampoo-Spender gewünscht.
Margadant (8/5): - Die Lage war gut, das Personal freundlich und die Gegend sehr schön. Es hat viele tolle Restaurants und der Strand ist direkt auf der anderen Strassenseite. Unterkunft schon recht alt dementsprechend sehen die Zimmer aus. Etwas rostig, leichter Schimmel an der Decke. Die Stühle für den Strand sind toll aber leider auch schon sehr runtergekommen ebenso die Fahrräder.

houstonsol (8/5): - The staff are very sweet. Jr, the manager, is super nice. There's an outdoor grill and table area for common use. We took advantage of this and enjoyed the al fresco dining. It's right across the street from the beach. Not on it! As I was hoping. You hear the traffic from the road which can be loud. There are beach chairs and bicycles free to use which was a bonus! We had the room called Mahi. It's very noisy and small. You can hear the neighbors all day long! And traffic. Plus the other guests because it's right by the main gate. The management was very kind and offered to move us as soon as another room opened up. We actually ended up staying since we had all our stuff already unpacked. Plus, I guess you get used to the noise after a while. Ha ha. All Seasons is a cool place! Especially if you get a room farther away from the road. And Junior, the manager, is fantastic!!
Allison D (10/5): Great lodgings close to the water in a friendly town! - This is a great place to stay in Hopkins! We booked their family room/house that is not attached to the main facility in addition to one of the private rooms and one of the shared spaces (to accommodate our large party). It was very comfortable! Junior checked us in and helped with anything we need. He was super kind and friendly and was happy to help answer any questions we had or arrange any tours. He gave us a short introduction to Hopkins and some restaurant recommendations. This is not the resort-y area of Hopkins. Junior said the resorts were a little further down the street and heading south we could find them, but if we wanted to get to know the town, head north. We opted to explore to the north. Hopkins might be one of the friendliest towns we have visited! Nothing.

Brian (6/5): Disappointed.. The trash problem. - The location was good. Check in was very good. ( we arrived early). I was very disappointed in the filthy streets and yards. The adjacent beaches as well as all the beach areas that we experienced are cluttered with litter everywhere. Garbage collection and or disposal seems to be a major problem.

Il mare è abbastanza vicino, facilmente raggiungibile attraversando semplicemente la strada, il che rappresenta sicuramente un punto a favore. Con una gestione più attenta potrebbe diventare un alloggio davvero interessante. Comprendo che si tratti di una guest house e che non possa offrire i servizi di un hotel, né una reception attiva 24 ore su 24. Tuttavia, da una guest house mi aspetto almeno accoglienza, disponibilità e un contatto telefonico realmente utilizzabile in caso di emergenza. Purtroppo lo staff è risultato praticamente assente. La prima sera, dopo un lungo viaggio, siamo rimasti senza acqua in bagno, quindi impossibilitati a fare anche solo una doccia. Ho provato a chiamare ripetutamente, ma senza ricevere alcuna risposta. Il secondo giorno avevo bisogno dei teli mare: ho dovuto attendere molto tempo e alla fine ne sono stati forniti solo 4 su 6, nonostante la prenotazione fosse chiaramente per sei persone. La terza sera ci siamo ritrovati senza acqua calda. Alla mia chiamata, il gestore mi ha risposto testualmente che la reception è aperta dalle 7:00 alle 19:00 e che, essendo le 20:00, non era tenuto a rispondere né a fornire assistenza. Solo dopo una discussione telefonica piuttosto accesa è intervenuto per ripristinare l’acqua calda. Non si è mai percepita cortesia o attenzione verso l’ospite: sorrisi e disponibilità sono del tutto assenti. A questo si aggiungono il rumore continuo, dato che la struttura si affaccia su una strada principale, e un persistente odore di muffa negli ambienti.
Kavya (7/5): - The place is literally 2 minutes to the beach. They have beach chairs, towels, snorkels that can be borrowed. Also cycles which are very useful for quick rides (5min) to supermarkets and cafes. The place is in the middle of the village, convenient to get to shops/ cafes etc. Junior is amazing at making sure everything is running smoothly. The place was a bit pricey for the quality of facilities. The place needs a bit of upgrading. The walls need some paint, the tiles are cracked and grouting coming off. It would be useful to have a long mirror and a wardrobe/ shelf with racks for storage.

Virali (9/5): Very nice place for budget-conscious family in Hopkins - We really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were fine - kind enough. Location was spectacular in that it's across the street from the beach, which we went to twice in our few days there. The common area was comfortable, clean. The room had everything we needed - very nice to have a coffee maker, small fridge, silverware and plates! Like everything in Hopkins, it was pricey. But at least less pricey than most.

Also, the beach and most restaurants are really closeby.

We also appreciated the use of the bikes, beach chairs and snorkel gear From the photos/descriptions we had assumed that there was a shared kitchen for guests to use. This was our fault for not checking the listing more thoroughly - just a warning to double check which room you are booking if you need cooking equipment as it is a bit confusing
Julia (8/5): Lovely and clean location with great amenitie and outdoor facilities. Walkable to the ocean. - Considering this was a very last-minute booking, I was so pleasantly surprised with the location, amenities, and cleanliness of the property! Situated a block away from the coast and directly on the main road, I was able to use the FREE bikes to traverse the entire city of Hopkins. The bikes and outdoor seating areas made the location perfect. This is not a property with an ocean or sea view unless you are in (what looked like) 1 room in the entire stay. While the property is VERY accessible to the ocean, I could not see the ocean unless I exited my room and squinted through a few buildings on the beachline. This was not a problem as the walk took all of 1.5 minutes to get to water, but I do believe many of the rooms falsely advertise the ocean view.

Der nahe Strand war, als wir dort waren, nicht zum Baden geeignet wegen großer Mengen stinkendem Seegras und dazwischen liegendem Müll. Staff war nicht immer gut erreichbar und nur mittelmäßig engagiert was Beratung und Auskünfte anging.

Vóór de accommodatie is een klein reisbureautje waar je een tour naar National Parc Bacowina kunt boeken. -
Stephanie (4/5): - The manager Junior was pleasant. The room was dark, dingy and much smaller than expected. It was very dated and we instantly felt uncomfortable. This part of Hopkins was dirty, smelly and rough. We booked 3 nights, but only stayed 1 as we didn't like our room or the area. When we contacted the management to let them know we'd checked out and weren't happy, they refused a refund for the 2 nights we didn't stay. The management got defensive and rather rude when we requested a refund. Beware! We definitely would not recommend this place or Hopkins as an area to visit. It's weird because over here you pay for the room in advance and if for any reason you don't like it or you feel uncomfortable it's tough because they've already taken your money.

Denise (9/5): I’m a born Belizean who visits every summer to visit family and to vacation exploring Belize. I’ve stayed in different t - The property was very quaint and good value for the money. I like that it was more Belizean style rather than American. Inside the room it had everything I was looking for to accommodate my aunts I was traveling with. Important to me was cleanliness, comfort, Air conditioner, WiFi, refrigerator and microwave. Also easy accessible to restaurants close by. The railings seemed to need a little upgrade with some paint but considering being so close to the beach I could understand. My only complaint inside the room was the toilet seat in the bathroom. The seat was too thin and the seat lid would not stay up. But that’s an easy fix I mentioned to Julian on my way out.

Clean, good A/C and lovely, spacious shared bathroom. I think it is a bit over-priced compared with other accommodations I stayed at in Belize, and is a pretty long walk from the center. Bicycle solves that issue, though.

We really appreciated the free bikes to explore the area and the chill vibe, with hammocks and comfy spots to relax. The air conditioning worked well, and there were plenty of towels, plus thoughtful extras like sunscreen, after-sun, and beach gear. The manager was also very helpful and welcoming. When multiple people were showering, the water pressure dropped significantly. There’s no real kitchen available if you want to cook your own meals. Also, the central courtyard is quite small, so if neighbors are up early and noisy, you might hear them.
