• Martin (9/5): A lovely and good value place to stay with great food and very welcoming hosts. - Nice rooms, comfortable beds, excellent food and friendly, helpful hosts who were good dinner companions. The only thing that could have been improved was having a couple of spare blankets in the room for those who find the duvets too warm (or too cold).

Propriétaire très disponible et sympathique. Excellente literie. Quelques odeurs d’égout à déplorer dans la salle de bain.

• david (10/5): Parfait - Un délicieux séjour chez Lotte et Wouter, des hôtes passionnés, accueillants, disponibles et généreux! La demeure est magnifique, propre, décorée avec goût. La chambre est confortable et bien équipée. L'excellence de ce lieu est confirmée par la qualité des repas et du vin que l'on vous sert . Cette maison d'hôtes est vraiment exceptionnelle!
• Morgan (10/5): The Dutch do it Better! - Auch nur eine Nacht bei Les Portals Blues erweist sich als einmalige Erfahrung, wenn man auch noch an der Table d'hôte teilnimmt (hausgemachtem Abendessen). Mit Lotte und Wouter isst man wie die geladenen Gäste der Familie, alle mit ihnen zusammen am Tisch--während sie ein gleichzeitig qualitativ sehr hochstehendes Abendessen servieren. Die Weinauswahl von Wouter, der sich wirklich bestens auskennt, sollte man auf keinen Fall verpassen. Und dazu kommt sehr anregendes Gespräch! Und nebenbei: das Frühstück ist auch ausgezeichnet, hier isst man auch als wäre man Lottes Hausgäste (stimmt ja auch!).

• Anne (9/5): - Très bon accueil par Wouter et Lotte, les propriétaires de la maison vigneronne, ambiance familiale le soir à la table d'hôte où nous étions nombreux hollandais, belges et français à savourer le repas fait maison ! Discussion bien sympathique autour du vin et des grands crus..., découverte du vin du village d'Azé. Bref, très belle étape entre Cluny et Macon. Pas grand chose à redire, salle de bain avec une baignoire un peu haute à enjamber. Pas de télé mais pas gênant pour nous.

• PF (10/5): Très bon lieu pour un séjour dans la région - Très bon lieu pour séjourner. L'accueil est chaleureux. La chambre est très confortable, la maison bien décorée dans le thème des vignobles, et la piscine dans le joli jardin très agréable. L'hôtesse était aux petits soins pour le petit-déjeuner. A recommander.

• John (9/5): Geweldig en zeker een aanrader, welkom in een heerlijke omgeving - Een warm welkom door beide eigenaren. Heerlijk in de tuin gezeten. En als klap van de avond een Table d’hote. Heerlijk gegeten en geluisterd naar mensen met passie. Dan zie je in heel veel terug. Een aanrader Dat ons verblijf te kort was (1 nacht) 😥

• Chris (8/5): Good value for money and very pleasant, with a good nights sleep thrown in. - The location was quirky in a good way. The couple who ran it were great and they joined us for dinner at the communal dinner table which was lovely. Breakfast was very good with cooked options and all set in hectares of vineyards. There is no on-site parking but space close by on a space at the side of the road.
• Wim (10/5): Highly recommend B&B in Aze ! - Friendly owners , clean rooms , airco, good bed , we can also recommend the diner offered ( optional ) all guests on a long table , good menu and wines at correct prices. We also loved the Benner Senne dog (Noortje) Car parking is out side on street , plenty of space , Safe neighbourhood, still a little risk with a full loaded car on a trip to the South of France

• Philip (10/5): A lovely relaxing stay in aze in a superb chambre d’hôtes. - Beautiful chambre d’hôtes in aze run by a super friendly young couple. Our room was excellent and we had dinner which was superb. Breakfast was also extremely good. There was nothing to complain about at all.

• Jean (10/5): Fantastic, just too short, excellent evening meal - We had an evening meal which was honestly exceptionally good in a lovely outdoor seated area with our hosts and other guests, very relaxing after travelling, a very pleasant experience. Room was just delightful, really comfortable with a nice seated area. Breakfast was delicious with home made yogurt and lovely croissants. Nothing, stay was amazing.

• Virginia (10/5): We will be back! - Lotte’s smile made us feel instantly welcome! We arrived relatively late and headed out immediately afterwards for dinner (little did we know that they also have a table d’hôtes. Oh well, will try it next time). The room - La Cave - was spacious, very clean and a breath of fresh air after our first night in Tournus, where we did not have such a great night. The bed was very comfy and we slept very well despite being notoriously bad sleepers when on the road. Breakfast was lovely - home-made yoghurt, jam - and all kinds of other treats. Last but not least, Noortje is one of the best behaved dogs we’ve come across on our travels. They also directed us to the cave in Azé where we discovered some nice wines. We will most definitely be back!

• Andrea (9/5): Lovely stay - Really nice property, very pet friendly. We brought our dog and he loved it. Its a good base if you like cycling. The owners are super friendly and the dinner outside was really special. We only stayed 2 nights on our drive to Italy and it was a great spot.
