- Marc (2/5): Avoid if you can. There are better options nearby. - The only thing I liked was the location for what I was in the area to do. Very easy walk to Farringdon station which gets you anywhere you need to be easily. Very, very small. Right above a Lebanese restaurant so my room smelled terribly of Halal all week. First floor room. Very hot. Windows open to a very busy, noisy street. No lift, so getting bags to and from room was a challenge. Incredibly small bathroom and even smaller shower with pitiful water pressure. Bed was very firm. No room for luggage in room. No closet to hang things. I hope this review helps someone. I wish I had read the reviews more before booking. I won’t be back here for sure.

- Humberto Matheus (5/5): - L'emplacement est bien et l'appartement est bien équipé. L'appartement est très minuscule, j'ai trouvé très cher par rapport à la taille. C'est bien petit pour deux personnes. Les horaires de check in (16h) et check out (10h) pourraient être plus flexibles, on pourrait facilement rentrer à 14h, vu que l'appartement se nettoie très vite (vu sa petite taille).

I found the host to be friendly and accomodating. the property was spotless and despite being on a main street we were not disturbed by noise. I will definitely stay here again. There was no champagne and rose petals over the bed lol No Nothing to complain about, it was fab. Thanks again to the lovely staff for a n excellent job.
- Gilberte (6/5): . - Bed ok; doucge ok In termen van brandveiligheid is het uiterst gevaarlijk: nooduitgang is onbestaande, want het is de trap langswaar je binnenkomt. trap met tapijt en 4 kleine kamers per verdiep. Vier verdiepingen, hoe hoger, hoe kleiner de vensters. Onmogelijk om langs daar gered te worden in geval van brand. Verder beantwoorden de foto's niet aan de werkelijkheid. Je kan met moeite rond het bed, ik kon met mijn hand in de afwasbak. Er is geen kast om je grief weg te zetten. De prijs was redelijk in vergelijking met andere overnachtingsmogelijkheden, maar te hoog voor het gebrek aan comfort. Ik wou een studio om er gezellig te kunnen uitblazen na een hele dag in de drukte van London te hebben rondgewandeld en zaken bezocht. Geen fauteuil, slechts 1 stoel! Wil deze plek zeker NIET aanbevelen.
- Cédric (1/5): Tried to charge me for damages I didn’t cause, photos saved me - Avoid at all costs! After my stay, the owner tried to charge me £156 for damages I did not cause—specifically to the blinds, which were perfectly fine when I left. Fortunately, I had taken photos as proof and successfully disputed this unfounded and dishonest claim. Save yourself the stress and choose a more trustworthy place.
- JENNIFER (6/5): Good value for money but could have been so much better - Good value for money, specially for the very central location. Liked having kitchen facilities including fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster. Good coffee machine with pods provided, bed was comfortable. Easy to access and excellent step by step instructions for finding the place. A few very simple changes could make this place outstanding. I know it sounds petty but the toilet roll was absolutely awful, rough and brown. The plug in the kitchen sink (and the hot tap) both didn't work and no washing up bowl or sponge was provided so I could only wash dishes in a saucepan with water from the kettle and kitchen roll! No freeview (I'm old school and like linear TV). The kitchen bin was tiny. Water pressure in the shower was also very poor so washing my hair was very tricky. Blind didn't cover the whole window and it was very light all night due to the main road location.

The not-so-sound-proof windows looked on a pretty busy street that even during the night was really noisy and I had trouble getting a good night's sleep. It didn't help that the building was relatively noise inside too.

- William (6/5): THE WHOLE APARTMENT STANK OF THE LEBANESE GRILL!! - It had everything we needed, all the staples were there for the price. Clean and did the job! It also felt very secure, with a coded lock pad on the door. The whole apartment was filled with the smell of the Lebanese grill. Since it sat above the grill the BBQ aroma seeped right in. All my clothes were so smelly I had to wash them all once we got home. It really ruined the experience.

But if you want to stay for a long time like me (3 Weeks), it would be better if they provide bath towels and Shampoo frequently. The location is amazing, you are minutes away from Farringdon and Liverpool Station, which allows you to go everywhere. Plenty of cafes and restaurants are nearby. The host was responsive and helpful. The unit was on the last floor, which for me, with two heavy luggage, was a little bit difficult to go up since the stairs don't have too much space. There was a restaurant down the building, and sometimes their smoke came to the building and even caused a fire alarm to start.

- Anabeats (6/5): O quarto foi inundado por falta de manutenção - É muito bem localizado, próximo acesso à estação de metrô e apenas uma linha direta para o aeroporto, o que facilitou muito nossa chegada e saída. Além disso, está próximo a restaurantes, bares, mercados e mais. O espaço em si é pequeno, porém aconchegante e oferece insumos básicos para uma boa estadia. Tivemos um sério problema com vazamento de água na nossa unidade. Chegamos de um passeio no final da tarde e o quarto estava inundado em água, até mesmo a cama, por um vazamento vindo do teto. Ao reportar, demoraram pouco tempo para nos realocar em outra habitação e, após isso, foi uma grande burocracia de ida e vinda de quarto, pois informavam sempre que havia outro hosprde chegando para utilizar a habitação que nos proporcionaram. Falaram que consertariam o vazamento e que precisaríamos voltar para o quarto original (o que nos causou muito desconforto, pois a cama estava completamente molhada e nos fez questionar se o problema seria realmente resolvido). Tivemos que nos realocar pelo menos 3x, o que nos obrigava a perder tempo refazendo malas diversas vezes. Informaram 2x que o quarto estava pronto, mas quando chegamos lá com as malas, o problema permanecia e nem sequer a limpeza havia sido realizada. Nesse processo de mudanças de quartos descobrimos também que, quanto melhor o quarto, mais escadas você tem que subir. Então, se você vai se hospedar lá, deve escolher entre conveniência e conforto.

- Giulia (8/5): Non completamente soddisfacente, voleva un deposito cauzionale prima del soggiorno. - Posizione comoda, fermata del bus a 5 minuti e metro a 10 minuti (un po scomoda), catene di supermercati a 5 minuti a piedi. Zona residenziale sicura e per niente rumorosa. Abbiamo potuto lasciare i bagagli prima del check-in e dopo il checkout nei locker presenti nella struttura. Abbiamo riscontrato dei problemi prima della partenza in quanto l’host ti chiede dei soldi che NON DEVI ASSOLUTAMENTE DARE. Ti arriveranno tantissimi messaggi chiedendo dei soldi ma bisogna ignorarli perché secondo le regole di Booking tu non devi nessun deposito per i soggiorni prenotati tramite la piattaforma. Questa situazione mi ha creato molti disagi prima della partenza e ho dovuto chiamare molte volte l’assistenza clienti Booking (PESSIMA). La casa all’interno non era molto pulita, c’era polvere sul termosifone in bagno e su altre superfici “secondarie”, è stata fatta una pulizia approssimativa. Inoltre non è possibile richiedere un servizio di pulizia durante il soggiorno, la pulizia avviene solo prima e dopo il soggiorno.

- Catalina (9/5): We stayed for a day and it was perfect. Close enough to everything. - It was great. If you have big luggage however, then it could be uncomfortable since you have to go up many flights of stairs in a narrow staircase. But honestly, for the rest it was very clean, everything worked well, and we had all the amenities needed. Plus they answered all of my questions promptly via message. Plus it’s super close to Barbican! That was wonderful. The only problem is the stairs. For me it was fine, but if you are older or not used to carriage your bags up many stairs, it could be difficult.

La notte del 23 novembre 2025, il tastierino elettronico della porta ha smesso di funzionare e sono rimasta bloccata fuori casa dalle 23h45 alle 11h00 dell'indomani mattina. Nonostante le mie chiamate urgenti - oltre 30 in meno di un’ora, tutte ignorate (tranne la prima nella quale mi era stato detto che sarei stata richiamata in 5 minuti) - la proprietaria non ha fornito alcuna assistenza. Ho vissuto ore di panico a quell'ora della notte con il rischio di rimanere anche senza cellulare (per batteria scarica) e nel totale disinteresse della proprietaria. Sono stata costretta a chiedere aiuto a degli estranei per poter ricaricare il telefono e, solo dopo molte insistenze, intorno all'1 di notte, mi è stato dato un codice per entrare in un appartamento diverso dal mio, senza effetti personali, senza prodotti igienici, senza possibilità di prendere dei farmaci che avevo nel mio appartamento, nonostante avessi chiarito l’urgenza alla proprietaria. Un’esperienza caratterizzata da disinteresse, poca professionalità e totale mancanza di responsabilità verso la sicurezza e il benessere dell’ospite. Sconsiglio vivamente questo alloggio. La scala è lurida, così come l'appartamento. C'è una terribile puzza in tutto lo stabile. Proprietaria menefreghista e non professionale. Meriterebbe l'arresto. Altra nota negativa: nella doccia non era possibile avere acqua tiepida per piu di 30 secondi poichè l'erogazione passava autonomamente da acqua gelida ad acqua ustionante in autonomia. PESSIMA ESPERIENZA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WiFi was good! Bathroom was little bit dirty. Didn’t have salt in our 2nd room! The maid hadn't left any garbage bags, and the trash can in the room is very small, we went to the store to get garbage bags.

The staff were friendly and responded quickly to any questions or requests. No plug in bathroom, no slippers ( but they had a travel toothbrush and paste provided, which is nice).

It's a small low quality room. - Location was good and Islington is now a more trendy neighbourhood, with shops, services and good connection to the metro, Elizabeth line and bus. The apartment is not an apartment. Is a small room, with a kitchenette as a side bedroom table, a tiny bathroom, and not even a closet for your clothes. What you see on Booking.com has nothing to do with the picture they show you. Then, the building stairways stink with the smell of food and soup from the restaurant below, the staircase is dirty and the walls all scratched. It is unbelievable they dare to call this "elegance luxury living". There is no elegance whatsover and much less luxury.

- David (8/5): Nice place to stay but put off staying again by the damage deposit. - Convenient, comfortable and the interactions for getting in etc were great. A really nice place to stay at a decent price. I am going to be working in London 4 days a week for at least 6 months and I’d consider blocking booking for many weeks apart from the damage deposit. I don’t want to commit so much refundable deposit money for such a long time and to charge £25 as non refundable deposit puts me off The smell from the shop was a bit off putting on the stairs but not noticeable inside and nothing can be done about that.

J'ai aussi demandé de nettoyer le studio pour le jour même pendant mon séjour, ils m'ont demandé de payer, après quoi ils m'ont dit qu'ils n'avaient personne pour le jour même et que la personne sera disponible le lendemain seulement.

- Galdric (2/5): - Si tu sueño es dormir dentro de un restaurante de kebab, este es tu sitio. El humo del local de a bajo se filtra por el baño y ni con el extrator se va. Te ahuma toda la ropa. Hay muchos detallitos de "calidad", que abarrotan el espacio ya de por si reducido. No es "luxury", ni un apartamento, apenas una habitación. La cama es pequeña para dos personas e impide abrir el frigorífico que hace un ruído infernal. Además emite tanto calor que estando a 9 grados fuera tienes que abrir la ventana. Estuvimos en otros tres apartamentos por logística y este es el peor con diferencia por el mismo rango de precios. Me preocupa que Booking acepte este tipo de sitios como apartamentos.

Ubicación excelente, nos quedaba todo bastante cerca en m - La ubicación muy céntrica, el apartamento era pequeño pero muy completo y cómodo. El personal muy atento a todo y amable. El edificio tiene 8 taquillas para dejar tus maletas antes o después del check-in así que genial. Además nos gustó el detalle de dejarnos 2 botellas de agua en la nevera ya que a día de hoy es muy poco común ver eso. El edificio tiene 4 plantas, no tiene ascensor y las escaleras son estrechas, pero se pueden subir perfectamente. Las ventanas son bastante finas por decirlo de alguna forma, de manera que se escuchaba el ruido de la calle, a nosotros no nos molestó eso ya que pudimos dormir igual de bien. La ducha es pequeña, puede resultar incómodo para alguien más grande.

- Maria (3/5): the lack of comfort in the accommodation made the holiday less pleasant - The only positive aspect was the location and the management replys to email The stairwell of the building were dirty and smelly. The flat had a bed that was apparently new, but of low quality and saggy so I had to sleep on the floor with a camping mattress I bought after the owner told me he could not fix my problem. Only at the 17th day of my stay he offered to change the mattress. The price payed for three a three-week stay does not include changing sheets and towels: you have to pay £85 - an exorbitant price, for the sheets and towel and for cleaning 17 square meters. The furniture was new, but there is no enough space to place a chair end be seated. There was no wardrobe or space to place suitcases for 2 people.

No big problems with this, I made the deposit and they return 2 days after the checkout, but it will be good to have this clear at the description
