• Adrian (1/5): Absolutely dreadful accommodation and totally non existent customer service. - The location was excellent in terms of access to the lovely suburb of Semaphore - great eateries and local shops with a great beach and foreshore. The property was badly maintained and had the most insanitary and filthy bathroom that we have ever encountered in all the years that we have stayed with Booking.Com. There was a clear effort on the part of Swainson to keep this appalling facility from your customers - no photos available on the Booking website. It was impossible to establish any direct contact with Swainson either by phone or online to rectify the situation. Our short break was totally ruined by this experience. I have included photos of the bathroom which may help you to see why we were so upset. There were numerous other shortcomings such as the lack of provision of essential kitchen utensils and even basic cutlery. I could go on but I’m more concerned about other Booking clients being exploited as we were.
• Aven (7/5): Needs a big deep clean. - Wood in driveway so not useable. Weeds throughout garden and grass not mowed. Facilities itself great but very dirty. Bath unuseable to use as a bath as it had black stuff peeling all over. Floor corners and wall trims dusty and dirty.
• debra (7/5): - Cute cottage, good price Couldn't shut the bedroom window. The place looked a lot cleaner in the photos, especially the bathroom. The bath, being old, was peeling.
• Belinda (7/5): - Back yard and outdoor area good space Lack of warm bedding to rooms, had to sleep first night with heater on as no extra blankets or bedding anywhere to rooms. The throw rug on lounge was stained and dirty.. Second bedroom floorboards need repair near windows damaged

• Wendy (7/5): comfortable and clean - The property didn't look much from the outside but the inside was well setup, homely and practical the reason for the lower score was that the previous tenants must have had dogs as the house had a wet dog smell more so in the first room where it was very strong also there was dog poop out the back, the car space was small not the best for large 4wd
