- B (1/5): Owner was cocky and rude ended up, spraying bug spray throughout the whole house after many misunderstandings to not do - Not the worst place I stayed, but a bit of a nightmare overall if I’m honest. Location when able to find it was near the pyramids but also near a lot of dirty things. Bad communications and bugs, they woul ended up spraying the room while I was still there a multiple discussions to not do that. 😵💫

The host and her mom were so enthusiastic and gave me lots of support which was more than what a host should do. I was so impressed by the hospitality of Egyptiens in my first city in Egypt. I really appreciate what they did for me and really made my trip. I enjoyed having conversations with the host and she was super nice, always providing me with useful advice and assistance. This guest house is 100% recommended for budget travellers and who want to have a trustable host, decent and safe place to stay in Cairo. You will get more than what you pay for.

- Griff (10/5): Valley Guest House - Location was brilliant, walking distance to the pyramids. Host's were attentive, friendly and displayed good manners. There were two bathrooms which was very convenient and the room was spacious & tidy with complementary fruits. We had difficulty finding the place to begin with. It isn't advertised with signage but eventually some local people pointed us in the right direction
