- Harilala (4/5): Hotel not recommended - Two stays at this hotel:
- a 1st stay of 3 nights
- a 2nd stay of 1 night.
During our 1st stay:
- water cut twice, once all night;
- The breakfast did not include any drinks, was served late after our arrival in the restaurant and did not deserve the praise written in the comments;
- The wifi does not work;
- a room for 4 people made up of 3 single beds
- towels and toilet paper not provided (had to ask)
- the water in the shower doesn't drain properly - Carrefour supermarket nearby
- view of the pyramids
- naif (9/5): - تعامل المسؤولين عن الفندق جدا راقي
- Martin (10/5): - Excellent view the whole three Pyramids in front of you 5 minutes from the Pyramids area good location helpful staff clean rooms new facilities definitely come back again
It was an amazing experience at this hotel The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful always making sure everything was perfect The rooms were clean comfortable and well kept with all the amenities I needed
The overall atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay

- اسامة (10/5): Exceptional - An exceptional hotel with outstanding service.
I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
The staff is incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive.
A truly wonderful experience in every way. No comment
- Karim (7/5): Good - Thanks for omar he is a polite guy
- Anonymous (5/5): we enjoyed our stay, but wouldnt choose the area again. - The staff were friendly, but lack of understanding english made it a bit difficult to communicate.
The room was neat n view from the room was nice. I didn't like the fact that they don't service the rooms everyday. Also we requested early breakfast for days of our tours and received none, we had to ask for everything.
The outside of the building needs to be attended to,on first glance i wouldn't want to stay there.
- Aya (4/5): In summary, I only recommend this establishment for a short tourist stopover, only to enjoy the panorama. - Only Pyramid view. I am disappointed by the overall experience in this establishment. As soon as we arrived, the welcome at the reception was particularly unpleasant. We were charged for a superior room, but we were finally assigned a standard room, explaining that a guest in the superior room had missed his flight and that we could change rooms as soon as he left the next day. This change never took place, without any explanation or commercial gesture.
In addition, the Wi-Fi connection was almost non-existent, which made our stay even more uncomfortable. The location of the hotel is also a real weakness: very far from the city centre, it is difficult to move from one place to another without wasting a lot of time.
The only real asset of this hotel remains the breathtaking view of the pyramids. Apart from that, the service does not follow. Even breakfast, which is not offered as an all-you-can-eat buffet, lacks variety and generosity.
- Chyiyrdy (10/5): Staff 10 of 10 - Room was clean All staffs in washroom

- Azaruddin (8/5): Very good - Value for money and clean.
- Narimene (10/5): Exceptional - Mainly to thank ACHRAF he was an incredible person assisted from the minute I arrived until I left he is amazing always there truly 5 star service for him also shout out to YASSIN for being so kind and assisting Internet
- Abdeen (1/5): Bad - We have booked the 01 room a few weeks before and last minute confirmed that our room is reserved, when we reached at Hotel they said they don't have room for us and they have transferred us to some other Hotel which is not meet our expectation , we were very new to Egypt and what to where to go
- Ahmed (4/5): Disappointing -
- Danai (10/5): Excellent choice - First of all it was very clean and brand new. The personnel was excellent and ready to help you on everything. Really good location next to the pyramids and I would recommend it in case you want to be in Giza area.
- Fatih (5/5): Passable - Location is really bad. Even it is close to the pyramids you cannot enjoy the surroundings. It’s not easy to find the hotel, signs should be visible. The room was smell cigarettes.. the hotel is just near a mosque so you likely to wake up in the early morning. There was no area to have breakfast in the hotel so we ate in our room. And the breakfast was too weak. Price is not fair when you consider all of things above. The only good things are the staff ( they are very friendly and helpful) and the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
- Yassein (7/5): Good -
- Dominika (1/5): A waste of time and nerves - Nobody speaks proper English. Creepy man at the reception tried to take photos of me. Didn’t get the room with a balcony even though I requested it.
- ءالآء (8/5): I Enjoyed celebrating my birthday there in front of the pyramids view - Staff were friendly and helpfully
- Halima (9/5): Superb -
- Ashraf (7/5): Good -
- Arpita (8/5): Very good - Rooms were very nice. Entry to the hotel is not good.
- Ana (10/5): The best hotel in area - The kattab view is a sanctuary in Giza with some of the kindest and most accommodating staff you'll ever meet! sayed elgabry and Sama truly went above and beyond for us, helping us purchase train tickets when the online system went down, spending an hour on the phone with us when our cab driver got lost in Cairo, and storing our suitcases for two weeks until we returned to stay with them again!
the rooms themselves are clean, comfortable, and very spacious. Like most hotels in the area, the standout feature is the terrace, offering breathtaking views of the pyramids. Value for money, this is a FANTASTIC hotel and we highly recommend it!!
- Kimberly (9/5): Superb - I enjoyed my stay. The location was an easy walk to the pyramids. Food and convenient stores right next to the hotel. The staff are friendly and my room was comfortable.
- Elmahdi (8/5): Very good -
- Sameer (7/5): Good - The staff is very cordial and helpful. Room service and choice of breakfast needs to improve.
- Marah (9/5): Superb - We would like to thank minna and omar they are so kind
- David (9/5): The staff are lovely and willing to help . The hotel gave value for the money paid - The balcony view Nothing
- Mia (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect the staff wore amazing and very accommodating. Made us feel comfortable and welcomed wore ready to help with anything and made sure we wore okay which was really comforting .great location and lovely clean rooms would definitely stay again
- Hady (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wagdy (8/5): Very good -
- Yara (8/5): Very good - The property’s suff is so welcoming. They always offer their help. They were eager to help anytime even after midnights.
The room was clean and smelt good.
I would definitely stay at this hotel if i visited cairo again. The property’s entrance doesn’t represents the hotel well, yet if you don’t care about luxurious looks then that won’t even bother you.(for me it wasn’t a big deal)
- Magdalena (9/5): A safe haven from busy Cairo - Location, near restaurants and grocery stores.
Room was spacious and new. Mats were very comfortable.
We felt quite safe during our visit when we were in the room.
Even if it’s not the best, the view of the pyramids is good enough.
There is a mosque next to it which is also very pretty (if you don’t mind being woken up by prayer each sunrise).
The location was perfect for being picked up for the daily trips (pyramids, Memphis/Saqqara and Dashur) and were are Ubers nearby. You need to keep in mind that you’re in Cairo, the streets are just the way they are, it can get dusty and there can be rubbish on the streets.
The tipping culture is present so it’s evident that the staff expects tips and they service you without asking but they expect tips in return.
One girl at reception even tipped herself without asking (she bluntly lied that we owe 15$ instead of 12$ and that 15$ equals to 900 Egyptian pounds which isn’t true, it equals 750 Egyptian pounds).
On the night we came, we were offered two different rooms (triple room without a balcony or double room with balcony) but neither were the room we booked (triple room with balcony).
We were then upgraded to the better room just because the lock wasn’t working in one of the rooms. They say you can reach the reception by calling 0 but the phone wasn’t connected at first.
Also we didn’t receive breakfast two out of four nights because one time they were late with breakfast and we had to leave before the breakfast came, and the other day they just didn’t bring it and didn’t even apologize or mention the breakfast.
These are kinda small omissions, but they make the difference in the perception of the hotel and the whole experience especially in a country where it isn’t really that safe and everyone is trying to find a way to scam you.
We would probably give them an 8 if it was Europe, but we won’t just because we don’t believe it isn’t much better anywhere else so this was overall a good value for the price and overall experience.
We would recommend it to everyone, this was only a feedback for the hotel and something that they can easily change to be a perfect 10 :)
- Helouise (5/5): Passable - Staff kindly Bad internet, everything is more expensive that previews arrange, I paid everything almost 30% more than I expect. I didn’t like of the region, everything around was dirty. Make sure before arrive if the price that show you contain all tax and fee !
- Farouk (6/5): Pleasant -
- Verachia (9/5): Superb - The staff were extremely accommodating the location at first seems bad but if you can deal with abit of dirty streets there's some good food and shopping places around, the pyramid view is not the greatest but it's something. For the price would definitely recommend 👌. The breakfast is not amazing but eatable the entry to the building is quite dirty and sketchy could do with some signage but once you in the lobby it's great
- Belekazi (7/5): Good -
- Furkan (10/5): Was amazing, I eagerly waiting to visit Egypt and stay again - I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. The team is here truly amazing, and clear that owner,Muhammed, has created a warm and welcoming environment by bringing together such hardworking and kind individuals.
I would to give special thanks to Menna and Sayid who worked at the reception their friendliness, professionalism, and genuine care for the guests made a significant difference during my visit.
- Bosah (10/5): Exceptional - Best hotel we stayed during out time in Egypt.
We felt safe and comfortable during our stay.
- Hamza (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ayaan (10/5): Clean, Comfortable, great location - The room was clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. Delicious breakfast (in room), dry cleaning service available. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Cairo. Mohammed, Habiba, Manatullah, Omar, Yousef all made me feel very comfortable and welcome. The location is also great, near touristic places and many restaurants and supermarkets nearby.
- Mert (10/5): Excellent Value for Money and Exceptional Hospitality - This hotel offers excellent value for money in the Pyramids area. The staff's hospitality exceeded our expectations. They were always eager to assist us and find solutions to any questions we had. We felt extremely welcomed throughout our stay. There is no sign outside the building. When you first arrive, you'll know you're at the right location, but it's hard to be sure exactly where it is! It would be helpful to have at least a sign displaying the hotel's name.
- Aliyu (6/5): Pleasant -
- Alba (5/5): Passable -
- Angelica (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (2/5): To be avoided - This hotel should not be sponsored. Entrance was extremely difficult to find. The free parking was a dirt lot with trash all over. To reach reception one has to walk up a couple of flights of stairs. Personally, I would not recommend it to anyone (and I'm not a very demanding customer.
- Andy (10/5): Good Getaway for 2 - The rooms were super clean and comfortable and the staff was very helpful Apart from the city tour there isn't much to do in Cairo.A visit to Cairo is just a huge history tour so it's good for those who like that other than that very peaceful
- Sara (8/5): Great value for the money! - The hotel and room are super clean, staff is young and very friendly. Taking into account how Giza is, the hotel is in a safe and far from the harassing from vendors part. Also, it’s easy to find ubers from the hotel as it is located on a main street. The entrance of the building seems a bit sketchy but nothing to do with the hotel itself.
- Taras (1/5): This hotel is a nightmare... - When we arrived at the hotel, we were told there were no available rooms, even though no one had informed us of this in advance. We were shocked. The hotel owner directed us to another hotel (Pyramids Eyes Hotel in the screenshoot) where we were given rooms of much lower quality. The rooms had no windows, one of the rooms had a broken air conditioner, and the other only provided heating—in 30-degree weather! The new hotel also had a lower rating, which didn’t match what we had originally booked. And all of this happened in the middle of the night! We had no choice but to stay, as we had no idea where we could find another hotel so late. It was a nightmare. We paid for the new hotel.
Furthermore, we were pressured to cancel our original booking. When we refused and insisted on contacting customer support, the hotel owner even called, telling us to cancel the booking or they would still charge us for it. This would have meant we were charged twice. This is completely unacceptable!
- Eugenia (7/5): Good - The room was very clean on arrival, the staff friendly but disorganised. The tours they offered to the pyramids, Alexandria and to old Cairo were quite good. There’s no automatic cleaning in the room, we got asked if we wanted the room cleaned and gave the key at the reception as we were told, but when we got back in the evening nothing had been cleaned or tidied up.
There is no breakfast hall and you have to eat on your bed since there also no real table in the room, breakfast was almost an hour late on the first two days even if we asked repeatedly to have it at 8 since the Tours started at 9 am and on the first day we only got two breakfasts plates even as we said we were three people.
- Reid (9/5): Very enjoyable. They made every effort to make sure I was happy/comfotable. - The room was great. Big TV on swivel to enjoy from bed or sitting room. Huge, clean bathroom. The stairs and hallway to get to the hotel need to be cleaned/maintained, even if not the responsibility of the hotel
- Emad (10/5): Exceptional - Every thing was perfect, reciptionest Habiba was above and beyond ,hospitality from all the crew member’s Mohamed ,Yousef, Mennah and Mohamed was excellent.
Clean room, perfect location, delicious food
- Khalid (10/5): Excellent - Clean and new interior and great location. Nice shower and comfortable beds and pricing is amazing Their isn’t nothing bad to say
- Abdullah (10/5): Excellent hotel, excellent staff and excellent location, walking distance to the pyramids. - I had a lovely stay with my family at this hotel. Initially, I was not convinced based on the pictures and exterior look of the property. However, as soon as you enter the reception/rooms are absolutely amazing. The staff are available all the time and very helpful/ friendly. Feels like a 5* STAR hotel, I would highly recommend. Nothing as such, I was very impressed.
- Amira (7/5): Good - It was very clean and the staff were very friendly. We really like the location as well. The breakfast was not good
- Ogechukwu (10/5): Memorable and enjoyable - Neat facility. Safe for a solo traveler. Staff are very lovely. Habiba was my go to girl. I didn’t pick the names of all the other staff but they were all wonderful. Nothing I can remember now.
- Yasir (10/5): Exceptional -
- Margarita (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ogechukwu (9/5): Great stay for work and safe for solo female traveler - The Hotel facilities are new and clean. The staff are friendly. They helped with airport pickup for me. They kept asking if I was comfortable and was willing to do anything to make me comfortable. Travelling as a solo female, it felt safe. There’s no desk and chair for you to work. The entrance looked obscured and unkept. Doors are not soundproof.
- Yasir (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rabiah (10/5): Clean and relatively modern for Cairo, don't let the outside deceive you - Lovely and clean, had acess to a smart tv. Lovely location in old cairo so much so we had the view of a pyramid outside our window. Honeslty well worth the money if you're trying to stay in old cairo and I had a wonderful experience. Hotel staff were 10/10 in terms of being helpful and polite. Something to note is they don't accept card payment, has to be paid cash on checkout. It's in an apartment block with the outside of the block looking a bit sketchy, but it was perfectly safe just the apartment block itself looked ran down but the actual amenities and hotel were very modern and clean
- Majed (10/5): Exceptional - Good place clean and calm, kind owner
- Shincy88 (7/5): Good -
- Husni (9/5): Superb -
- Ammar (7/5): Good -
- Jude (10/5): Exceptional - I had a wonderful stay at the Khattab Pyramids hotel.
The entire staff was very kind and professional, always smiling and doing their best to make sure I had a great time. Nada who works at the front desk was super lovely and helpful when I saw her every day, paying attention to the little details.
The hotel is well maintained, clean and smelling fresh at all times. The location is good too, and the roof from which you will be able to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner will offer you a very nice view as well.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget who would like to stay close to the Giza Pyramids as it is very close to the plateau (about a 10 minutes walk to one of the two entrances), all the while enjoying a quality experience offered by the staff.
With love, Mathilde.
- Jake (10/5): Exactly like photo - We want to say Thank You to the staff of the hotel Dima pyramids view
We were met at the reception and staff was very friendly and happy
They took our baggage,
offered us a cold welcome drink, showed the terrace with view on the pyramids, explained everything, offered a guide for the next day and showed us our room. We had a possibility to choose the room. Room was clean, sheets were also new and clean. We wanted to buy smth in the city and Osama came with us, showed us everything and even took a local transport for us to test it. It was very nice experience!
Breakfast was also delicious with a view on pyramides. Then they organised all our day, we were in connection all the time, they helped us a lot !
We are really happy and satisfied, so we can recommend this place for staying in Giza
- Zaki (10/5): Exceptional - The place is very comfortable and clean. It exceeded all my expectations. The room is comfortable and tidy, and the view from the room is beautiful. You see the pyramid in front of you. The employees are very polite and helpful, especially Abdul Rahman and the lady in the morning. Everything is beautiful. WiFi, doesn't work
- Jassem (8/5): Very good -
- Miska (8/5): Very good -
- Olesia (9/5): Superb - New facilities
