- Medhat (8/5): إقامة جيدة جدا - الموقع و الغرفة نظيفة و العاملين فى منتهى الادب لا شيء

- Heta (8/5): Sopi minule Kairon ydinkeskustan vierailuun, koska oli lähellä kaikkea - Paras sijainti Kairon keskustaasa.Uusitut huoneet, hieno lattia ja kyloyhuonekin uusittu laadukkailla materiaaleilla..Hyvä hinta/laatu suhde.Hyvä hotelli muutaman päivän vierailulle. Vessa haisi välillä.Varsinkin myölhään illalla ja yöllä
- MUSTAFA (5/5): -

- Guest (5/5): - Perfect location! Extremely old property, with an old elevator.
Room is tiny. Ok for solo traveller not looking for comfort or high cleanliness.
- Jamil (6/5): Decent, but - the location is excellent, near el-Tahrir square.
the staff is friendly and helpful. Good for price. Recommend for budget travellers who aren't fussed about having luxury accomodation. the sign is obscure and innacurate so difficult to locate at first. Car noises are incessant 24/7 (but this is expected considering the location).
the front door of the hotel is kept open all night and day so anyone can come in, this is not safe nor secure. A dotard scammer with glasses followed me and starting aggressively banging on my room door and extorted me for money, the staff allowed him to come in when they should have swiftly evicted him from the premises. Hotel needs more stringent security measures to maintain the welfare of guests, stopping scammers from invading our rooms is the bare minimum. This was a very unsavoury experience and occurred on our first night. other than that our stay was nice
Any travellers to the area beware of the fat old man with glasses and a hat who will act friendly but then will extort you. He speaks good English and is talkative but lies as easily as he breathes. He sits on a chair in front of el ezaby pharmacy which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Beware, police should take actions against him.

- Maryam (2/5): Price quality - Well.. the receptionist was a Nice Guy and the locación if you are interested in visiting the museum the toilet and the room where very very clean, they are rebuilding the building so that’s a good sign. The elevator.. building in ruins.. but I think they are remodelling it so I think is going to be very nice in some point
- Mohamed (7/5): Good - Location & staff Renovation on the facade causing so much dust
- Hans (6/5): Pleasant -
- Σίψας (3/5): Poor -
- Ihab (7/5): Good - Daily cleaning service, not noisy, Cold rooms, ac warms slowly
- Shokr (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly staff
- Du (7/5): Excellent budget hotel in the heart of Cairo Downtown - Centrally located in the heart of Downtown Cairo. Friendly accommodating staff. Clean rooms. Kitchen. Wi-Fi didn’t work that well. Traffic Noise if you take the front facing room.
- Du (7/5): Excellent budget hotel in the heart of Cairo - Excellent location. In the heart of Downtown Cairo near to all attractions and food places. Bustling atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and cordial. They offer laundry service(not the best of prices though), currency exchange and baggage storage. Rooms are a bit dated but very clean. I had the room with the balcony facing the street so it was a bit noisy at times. Wi-Fi was problematic. TV doesn’t work.
- Krisna (8/5): Very good - The entrance is under construction and is not very appealing but once you go in, it's totally fine. Great location as it's central to downtown Cairo.
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mohamed (8/5): Very good - Close toTown Centre Noisy traffic
- Ignacio (8/5): Good place in Downtown Cairo - It is very well located, just a few steps from Tahrir Square and the Egyptian Museum. You can also walk to the Ramsis Station and the Old Cairo.
The hotel is in a very lively street but it's pretty quiet, you can sleep without noise. There are all kind of restaurants, shops and cafes around. The Sadat metro station is very close to the hotel.
All in all, I would recommend staying here. The breakfast could be a bit better and it's only served at 8am which can be a bit late if you have an arranged tour or you need to leave early.
- Panagiotis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adam (9/5): Great little spot in trendy downtown Cairo. - The location was great amid trendy shopping and food options. The staff was very friendly and accommodating of every request. The room was spacious, modern, and clean. While "soundproof", it's hard to get away from the honking on the street so bring some earplugs. The ensuite bathroom is nice but doesn't offer much privacy if you're sharing space. The elevator was acting up while we were there and we had to walk the stairs to the 4th floor a couple of times. Don't expect a great view since there are buildings right outside but the windows were tinted and had good drapes and there was still a little breakfast balcony which was nice.
- Mohammed (9/5): Good experience, enhaces the enjoyment of being a tourist in Egypt. - Friendly staff. Central location. Comfortable. Quiet. Good laundry service.
- Stephen (5/5): Passable -
- Isabella (8/5): great location - We were a group of 8 (5 adults +3 kids), we booked 3 rooms and traveled in December and stayed for 3 nights. the location is top. It's near the Tahrir square, and the streets are very nice, with colonial buildings. there are a lot of shops, cafes, restaurants in walking distance. the hotel itself is dated, but the beds are comfortable, the towels are good and you get shower gel. the breakfast is basic but it gives you a good start of the day. We arrived at the hotel at 5 in the morning and the reception was open, same as departure, we checked out at 5. we booked excursion through the hotel owner. the roof terrace is closed during the winter
- Joseph (10/5): Great pick for Downtown Cairo - Excellent value right at the heart of downtown – plus a lovely street view!
- Kamilla (7/5): Good -
- M. (7/5): It was worth to stay there if I compare price performance of the hotel. - Downtown history, old architecture of the city Hygiene was not good, and the hotel needs renovation, it is very old
- Abdurahman (1/5): Bad -
- Tehwar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ashish (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kristin (5/5): Do not recommend. - The location is central, 5 min by foot to the Cairo museum. The rooms were dirty and badly smelling. The staff was trying to be kind. We arrived late in the night and they tried to accommodate us in two double rooms, although we had booked a single and a triple ones. After 40 min of hesitation on their side what to do, they managed to offer a single room. Dirty, noisy, bad smell all over the hotel.
- Saeid (4/5): I wouldn’t recommend it - The bed is the only positive point. It’s closed to shops and restaurants. Bathroom full of moulds. Dirty mirror and tables. noisy road and everything can be heard in the room. TV is just a decor. It doesn’t work.
- Rehab (6/5): Pleasant - Location
Breakfast
Stuff There's many cracks on the walls
The entrance of the building is very bad
Air-condition was bad
Satellite doesn't work
The small bed isn't comfortable

- Lura (8/5): Very good -
- Lura (9/5): Superb -
- Gill (8/5): Very good - Staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive
- Jason (9/5): Superb - Host's caring and support. Close to metro and a currency exchange office, it was quiet even it locates in one of the busiest street in central Cairo. N/a
- Frank (5/5): Good value for the price; basic accommodations - Overall, we had a pleasant stay. However, there are some details that need improvement:
Toilet paper seemed to be in short supply. We had to go to the front desk for more each time (we were there 5 days)
There was no daily housekeeping - but this is common in a post-COVID world, but it would have been nice to have
3 light bulbs out - Not a big deal, but routine checks of the room would have remedied this.
Non-English speaker at front desk - Sorry, but this was important to us!
Driver sleeping at front desk sofa at 7 am - This was quite strange!
Noise from downtown street - Nothing they could really do about this, but it was the "cost" of being in a great location!
Slow WiFi
Smoke smell in hotel despite being nonsmoking. Allowed in lobby
- Siavash (8/5): Very good -
- Natalie (7/5): Good - We didn't notice the breakfast sign at reception. Staff didn't mention details to us. We were late to breakfast. After explaining they were happy to make us breakfast. Breakfast area and balcony was small. Not like the photos.
- Aglibert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ali (10/5): great service and very clean room and the staff was very friendly, Will recommend - great service and very clean room and the staff was very friendly
Will recommend
- Alsaeed (8/5): Very good -
- Josep (9/5): Excellent value for money - My room was very big and clean! Considering the noise of Cairo streets and the central location of the hotel, the room was quite and relaxing. Everything met my expectations considering the cost value of the accommodation.

- Nathan (8/5): Very good -
- Ghazala (6/5): Pleasant -
- Max (6/5): It's OK - Location Elevator sometimes doesn't work
- Seppo (9/5): Superb -
- Stephen (8/5): Good basic centrally located accommodation - The staff were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble, including arranging transport. Location is very central. The shower tray in the ensuite bathroom did not contain the water, so it spilled onto the floor. Disappointed that the roof terrace was not open and seems only to be used December to March.
- Nabeel (8/5): Great and easy visit during my travels to Cairo - Great hostel type lodgings but with private rooms. Very close to the Egyptian Museum, Zamalek, and a number of amazing places! The internet went out on three different occasions and the power went out on one of those occasions. This also meant that the lift was out of order
- Lauren258 (8/5): Very good - The room was clean and quiet at night. The bed was very comfortable. Warm shower, very warm if you want even.
The staff were very friendly and we were happy we could store our luggage after we checked out and had to wait until our evening flight. The facilities were a bit old, especially the stairway going up. The lights in the room were very bright/white, would prefer some more cozy lighting.
- Amjad (9/5): Staff was good especially mr Nabil is also owner is friendly and well comer - Location was good Room
- Mahmoud (9/5): Superb - Friendly staff ,Privacy and calmness, good location, car park in front of the hotel. Expensive coffee.
