- Renate (8/5): A refreshing cool Stay in Tenterfield - My Friend and I liked the location. Close to town in a quiet street. Nice yard. Dealing with the owners was very good. We had everything we needed. The main bedroom was huge and the other two were of a good size. I would have loved to know more about the house. It was interesting. It was tastefully renovated in keeping with the era. Plenty if hot water which was great because it was cold. A bath comes in handy if you have little ones. Not too deep but enough for for a soak which I enjoyed with a book. It was a treat because its not something I do often. The new fire place was also welcomed because of the weather and created a nice ambience. Nothing major because it was really value for money and had what we needed. The main bed was a little firm for my preference but if you enjoy a firmer bed this place is for you.

- Teresa (10/5): Perfect house for a family holiday, just loved our stay at The Brown House! - Comfortable beds, beautiful decor, cosy with the fireplace and heater, peaceful location.
- Blazenka (9/5): Superb - Location, very quite had everything you need
- Marina (10/5): Exceptional - Cosy cottage with charm and character. Lovely fireplace to help keep us warm. Close proximity to the main street, yet far enough to be quiet Nil
- Christine (6/5): Wouldn't stay again. I think owners need to visit the house and clean out the junk. - Very good beds, with renovated kitchen and bathroom. Plenty of hot water. Quiet location. Everything else was very old and dusty. I didn't like to touch anything as it was all so old and smelly. Curtains didn't quite cover the windows. It smelt like a 2nd hand bookshop and because there were no security screens we couldn't leave the windows open.
We left a day early.
- Melissa-gary (8/5): Very good - The house is fabulous. Very clean. Had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The mattress was NOT comfortable. The sheets and doona were great but the mattress was old and extremely uncomfortable. That is the only complaint.

- Carly (10/5): Lovely rustic house - spacious, very comfy bed, clean. Close to town. Lovely house to stay in for some relaxing. It's an old house with lots of character. This is the type of place you stay up all night talking with a glass of wine and a cheesboard. There's an open fireplace - didn't use it as it was plenty warm already. lots of bugs outside once it gets dark, you gotta be quick getting in the door. Nothing to do with the property it's just the area, but good to know if you don't like flying bugs!!!

- Rebecca (9/5): Superb - Fireplace stacked ready to go, plenty of spare blankets and electric blankets on the beds to keep you warm and cosy, well stocked kitchen with all the utensils you'd have at home to enjoy a home cooked meal. Easy self check in/out and great communication with the owners.
- M (8/5): Nice little home - Close to the main centre of town. Plenty of hot water. Undercover parking All very clean. Fireplace was more for atmosphere than heating but the aircon helped
- Alex (9/5): enjoyed our stay in this character filled house - thanks for a lovely stay. open fire

- Nathan (10/5): Warm and cosy - The house was super comfortable and cosy. Only thing I didn't like was no wifi access as data was also limited in a blackspot area.

- Sophie (9/5): The Brown House was a lovely, comfortable stay while we were in town for a wedding. - Plenty of character, good heating options to stay cosy. good parking. was pretty well all good, just a dirty cleaning cloth left on bathroom sink and no hand towel.
We had to switch to the second gas bottle as there was none/no hot water when we arrived.
- Ascher (8/5): Very good - The property had everything we needed. House was clean and beds were comfortable. Undercover parking also. Thank you Brown house:)
