There is a nice small beach in a short walking distance as well as shopping facilities(but if you need some small things, you can buy at the internal shop as well). The staff is kind and helpful, they really made our stay very comfortable.

- Jeffery (9/5): Home away from home! Silk Villas is now our go-to when we visit Bahamas. - From check-in to check-out, one of the most pleasant stays I've had in all of the Caribbean. Felt like home away from home while we were there. Very accommodating and safe. Grounds are well kept, laundry on site, two pools, available breakfast, what more could you ask for! Shopping area is just a walk away, including a liquor store and grocery store. Short drive to Fish Fry and beaches. I wish there were spa services available, an on-site bar and lunch/dinner service.

- Anonymous (5/5): I will not stay at Sllk Cotton Villas again. I don't know why a cleaning fee is attached to the stay - We didn't eat breakfast. Too expensive, especially for children. It is not in a great location, too far from downtown/sightseeing. The shuttle is too expensive for an island that small. Breakfast could be cheaper, free for children under 12. Although I arranged for a pickup from the airport, the person wasn't there. I had to call the office, when the driver showed up, he had an attitude!

Appreciated the security of the property. Owner is very focused on making sure the property is being maintained. Staff is very responsive to any need for repairs etc. Outdoor gazebo area is outstanding. Would definitely stay here again. Can’t think of anything we disliked.
- Summer (10/5): - AMAZING place to stay. Beautiful, safe and clean. The AC worked amazing and the water pressure was great. The pools are beautiful and the option for breakfast in the morning was such a luxury. The beds were SUPER comfortable and the property was beautiful. The trees offered fresh delicious mangos for your eating. It was easy to find, getting in and out and locking the door was easy and such a breeze. I literally have ZERO complaints. My only recommendation would be to have a rental car as taxis can be expensive and you definitely want to explore paradise island which is over the bridge and a 7 min drive.

I asked for a tour reservation for the next day on short notice and they were very responsive. It was conveniently located close to the tour departure point. We also went to a nearby seaside restaurant and both were delicious. It would have been nice to have a guide on how to adjust the temperature of the air conditioner or how to use the TV in the room, although it would have been easy to ask.

Staff are great and it’s very local to the supermarket and liquor store. My only suggestion would be an outside shower and changing room which guests could use if they have a late flight and have checked out.

- Alison (10/5): Wonderful place - Tranquil, well kept, lovely oasis. 14 of us stayed in two villas and 2 Studio apartments. We used the shuttle bus a lot and Paul who was our main driver was wonderful - nothing was ever a problem. This facility was really useful to our big party as we could all get into the bus instead of hiring cars. Chantelle was lovely and very helpful and Scott was very accommodating and great to have a daily chat with. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Close enough to Downtown and Paradise Island. Harbour Bay shopping centre a short walk away from the complex and Montagu Bay Beach also a very short walk. Would love to go back again should the occasion arise. Water pressure in Villa 4 ensuite basin!

- Alison (10/5): Wonderful complex with wonderful staff - The whole gated complex suited our group perfectly. The shuttle bus facility was fantastic as was Paul who was our main driver. Chantelle was always helpful, Scott was so accommodating. Chef LJ's breakfasts were great. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Convenient location for walks to Harbour Bay for shopping, beers, fast food. Just a short walk to Montagu Bay Beach. Close enough walk to Downtown and Paradise Island (everyone thought we were bonkers!) but far enough away for tranquillity. There are few pavements in Nassau for walking but luckily there were some to get to Harbour Bay and Montagu Bay. Would recommend Catamaran boat trip to Pig Island which departs just down the road at Montagu Bay Water pressure in our ensuite basin - it was zero!! Everywhere else in our villa was fine.

Location not perfect, although close to the beach, the beach is far from what one would expect from Bahamas. Water pressure in the shower extremely low. No restaurant on site, possibility to buy water and some snacks. Given Bahamas prices, fairly reasonably priced for what it offers.

- Phoenix (9/5): Superb - Peaceful, beautiful environment, very lush and well kept. We stayed in a 4-bedroom villa and it was spacious and accommodating for the extended family. Staff were friendly and helpful in organising transport, fixing issues with the accommodation. Our kids loved playing in the pool, which was never crowded. There were a few issues with the property, like a leaky bathtub faucet, and a dishwasher that kept malfunctioning. We ended up having to hand wash dishes for the week that we stayed there.

My orientation was $1001 on booking.com but when I arrives the facility told me the price was $1036 and they also charged $10.36 in fees to run my payment. I complained and they told me that booking.com had the incorrect price and I needed to dispute that with booking.com. They stated they sent booking.com a message with that information. I also developed several bites on my body which I originally thought were mosquito bites. Upon returning home and visiting my physician she confirmed the bites were not mosquito bites and were bed bug bites.

The bed was super comfy and helpful that the room had a kitchen. We were able to save money by making breakfast each morning (after an expensive trip to the store, though. Bacon was $10, eggs were $11). The pool is resort-like with good chairs, and if you like cats, there are several roaming the property. We enjoyed them. Noise was very minimal, so I was able to get good sleep. Housekeeping is not included, you have to pay extra. Toiletries provided were minimal, no body wash but rather dove bar soap. They tell you not to use towels for makeup removal yet only provided me 2 wipes even though we booked a 4-night stay. I had to call and ask for more. Also, they provide two different coffee machines, but you have to purchase the coffee and/or pods. I found this extremely odd and inconvenient. Electric stove top only partially worked. Shower could use some updating, the grout is dirty and there are stains on the tile and ceiling. We also had several issues with the code for our door and them losing the actual key for it until locating one the following day.

- Christopher (10/5): A wonderful retreat away from the crowds and chaos of downtown Nassau. Peaceful and relaxing. We will return for sure - I didn’t realize the property was a large gated compound. You really can’t get that idea from the photos. It was wonderful to have your private suite but still have access to all the wonderful facilities. There are two pools that each have their own adjacent hot tubs, washer and dryers, a well appointed workout facility with a variety of excellent equipment in an air conditioned environment. The beautiful grounds are very well maintained and the staff friendly and very accommodating. Unfortunately the no-see-um mosquitos took a liking to my wife but not me. Maybe more citronella candles both outside and possibly one in the room.
- Maryline (9/5): Superb - Spacious studios with a little terrace to enjoy fresh air. Well located, near an unratted but very beautiful beach. We went low season so the price was really reasonable. Detergents and other cleaning tools could be useful when staying longer as there is no housekeeping.

Gardens nice around the property. Quiet and peaceful. Manager dropped us off at grocery store after we checked in at facility. Room was large. Gym is large. Would recommend car if staying here to drive to more tourist locations. It is not near tourist parts of island. No breakfast service. Little chaotic when we arrived. We were supposed to know which unit. Our message from property said room 5 but it wasn’t correct. We got to our room and then shown to main office area to checkin. Miss information from booking regarding the tax rate which really 10% rather than 7% listed on booking site. Maybe information book about recommendations around the area would be helpful. Didn’t know hours office open to purchase drinks. I guess they sell eggs and vegetables when available from office but found out this at end of our stay. Also had bar area in main office but not in use. More hooks or places to hang towels would be convenient in room. Bugs are bad around property. Bring bug spray and empty trash everyday to avoid fruit flies. This property is not in tourist area. Limited restaurants within walking distance. Lots of trash along side roads near property. Property is clean. You will see the real side of Bahamas. Drastic difference from Paradise Island. If you want that experience of more luxury, wouldn’t recommend but if you want to meet more locals and quiet experience this would be for you.

- Clarisse (9/5): Hidden Gem in Nassau!!! - This property is a hidden gem! Nestled amidst lush trees, it offers serene surroundings perfect for a peaceful getaway. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the swimming pools are lovely and spotless, although the lounge chair cushions could benefit from a refresh. The Villas are thoughtfully designed and equipped with all the essentials, making them ideal for families. While they are a bit removed from restaurants and downtown Nassau, a nearby grocery store and Starbucks add a touch of convenience. Guests should plan on using taxis or renting a car to explore the area. One of the standout features is the incredible staff—kind, attentive, and always ready to assist with any need. The on-site gym is another highlight, boasting modern, high-quality equipment for a fantastic workout experience. This place strikes a great balance between comfort, tranquility, and convenience! The lounge chair cushions could use a refresh for added comfort. Similarly, while the mattresses are decent, they could be upgraded to enhance the overall sleep experience.

- Catherine (10/5): A gem! - Room was spotless, site was clean and friendly. Pool area was peaceful. 2 pools is plenty for a small site like this. Would highly recomend and will stay again 😁. On arrival was allocated a different apartment from what I booked, when I questioned this I was then moved to the larger one I had booked. No oven in the rooms so all cooking on hob, toaster or microwave. They do have an onsite bbq that guests can use but i didnt.

Two pools, jungle oasis, quiet and private cottage with the most comfortable bed, and exceptionally friendly staff (Chantelle is a dream!). We didn’t want to leave! A little ways away from transportation/activities. We walked a lot which was fine but just be prepared to have to pay $25 one way for taxis or walk 30+ minutes to places.
