Guest Reviews
- Jayden (1/5): Not great, never again. - Close to where l needed to be. No air con working on 30 plus days for both nights my daughter and l stayed there. Only a couple of windows that had fly screens so when we opened up to cool the very hot place down we got plenty of bugs/misquotes inside. The bed in the master bedroom was way too hard, so l slept 2 nights on the couch while my daughter slept in the other bedroom with a more comfortable bed, thank goodness. Nice place but needs these issues sorted before l would recommend it to anyone.
- Rhonda (9/5): Superb - This house was clean, beds were comfortable with good assortment of pillows, good linen, good facilities and utensils in the kitchen, plenty of lovely hot water. There was no bedside lighting in the second bedroom. It is the only accommodation I have ever stayed in that did not provide tea, coffee and milk. We had to go to supermarket to buy some. A coffee plunger would have been good too. Although AC was not in the included list, it was a very hot weekend and it would have been appreciated.
- Alida (10/5): Exceptional - Comfortable home with all amenities, good location.
- Cheis (8/5): Very good -
- Adam (8/5): Great value, great home. - No access to rear yard
- Lauren (10/5): Beautiful holiday Home - Beautiful clean home.
Great quiet location.
Owner was fantastic to communicate with.
- Coralie (9/5): Happy stay - Overall the property was clean and very comfortable we enjoyed our stay, Was very handy to the things we needed to do. Was no problems with our stay.
- Titcher (8/5): Very good - The mattress very uncomfortable
- Sigrid (5/5): Overall we liked the Cozy Cheerful Home, but the issues raised above resulted in a less enjoyable stay. - The location was easy to find & not too far from the CBD. It was clean, quiet and very comfortable beds. Alarmingly, we were unable to exit through the back door because it was padlocked, with no available key. This is a fire hazard!
The oven door appeared to be broken as we were unable to close the oven door.
The gas heater in the lounge only worked on the highest setting and turned itself off on medium & low. It was uncomfortable to have it remain on the high setting.
Most taps continued dripping unless turned off by considerable force.
A drying rack or clothes line would have been welcome, to at least dry the towels.
It would have been helpful to have a book/ folder with operating instructions for the appliances, as is the case in most holiday rentals.
- Richard (5/5): Not comfortable - Tv place was clean Shower kitchen chair had broken leg bed had board around making it hard to get out lounge was to Lowe
- Yeates (8/5): Lovely weekend away. - The place was cozy, clean and quiet. Pity we could not get into the back yard - would have been more private. We couldn't use the back yard. The driveway was a tight for our car.
- Lindsay (9/5): Cosy house , great value stay in home style comfort. - Comfortable and clean home with seperated bedrooms in a quiet neighbourhood. Kitchen facilities were great. There was a full sized fridge and pantry, along with washing machine and makes this a perfect place for an extended stay. Couch was comfortable and TV worked well with good reception. Towels and linen supplied , so made packing much simpler.
