• florence (8/5): - Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. L appartement est propre et bien situé. Nous avons eu quelques difficultés à trouver l'emplacement car nous n'avions pas de GPS. Grâce à l'extrême gentillesse des dominicais nous avons réussi à être dirigés. Le lit n'est pas très pratique avec la mezzanine si l'on est grands. C'était un matelas 140 pas très confortable. Seul bémol. La location est au calme avec une superbe vue de la terrasse.
• Christopher (6/5): Nice clean well-equipped small unit, but the host acted unethically - It's a nice place in a convenient area. Easy parking. Nice yard. The host, Kimaner, lives upstairs and is easy to get in touch with. There is a TV and kitchen with most of the things you'd need to cook simple meals. Was clean and overall a nice place. I asked for an early check-in, which initially was not possible, but she was nice enough to each out to me proactively later on when it did in fact become possible. That was great. We decided to leave early because we changed our minds about the type of place we wanted to stay. This decision had nothing to do with the apartment. I asked Kimaner if a partial refund was possible, however I did not expect this whatsoever and just wanted to ask. She initially said yes and offered 50% of the unused night, which I accepted. Then later she said that after returning to examine the place, she noticed that we had not taken out the garbage and left some dirty dishes (both true) and said that her initial welcome message mentioned that these things were required, and as a result, she would revoke the previous refund offer. I re-read the welcome message, and it did not state anything like this. It simply said that there was a garbage bin outside. No mention of dishes or required actions on departure. She went on to say that this made her have to pay for an unscheduled cleaning a day early. I don't understand the connection between that and the revoked refund since the need to do an early cleaning would be apparent prior to evaluating my refund request. Even if we had complied with this surprise self-service policy, she admitted a cleaning was already scheduled anyways. I think Kimaner is a good businesswoman who let her business intentions overrule a commitment she had agreed to by finding an excuse that doesn't really make sense and feels dishonest in this context. The wifi was quite slow at less than 5mbps, which is far slower than every other wifi/mobile network in the country that we used. It seems to be using a wifi extender/repeater, which can often contribute to slow speeds. The bed was not very comfortable due to being too soft. It is inconvenient that this place is cash only. There are a couple of misleading photos specifically associated with the particular unit we stayed in (called "One-Bedroom Apartment") that show a double non-bunk bed.

• Mackenzie (10/5): Great location in a comfortable apartment. - We had a great 4 night stay at this apartment. The host met us and gave us a tour, it was very welcoming. Its in a quiet residential neighborhood not far from the main road. It was peaceful in the morning other than the crowing roosters, which are everywhere on the island, and to be expected. It felt safe here, the neighbors were friendly. Access to the apartment was easy with a lockbox key attached to the door. We loved having a fridge/freezer, oven/stove, coffee pot, and panini press. We cooked all of our meals on this trip. The A/C unit in the bedroom worked really well so we stayed cool sleeping at night. This was a great booking for accessing Trafalgar falls, our canyon experience tour, Champagne reef and Scotts head. Would love to stay here again! Thank you.

• Benedicte (9/5): Absolutely lovely stay in this part of Dominica! - Kan Xio has two apartments, we stayed in one with a smaller living room and a little porch. Although we could have wished for the bigger kitchen/living room as we were three people travelling together, the porch more than made up for the smaller indoor space. The apartment is very well equipped, the host had put some water end beer in the fridge to welcome us, and we had coconuts from the garden whenever we wanted to. It is situated quite high up in a the quiet community of Pointe Michel, but as Norwgians we are used to walking and found the walk down to the main road very easy. From there it was no problem catching a local, cheap bus/minivan to Scott's Head, Soufriere and Champagne reef. The local bus to Roseau runs straight past the property. We stayed three nights, and as there are few restaurants nearby we opted for lunch out, end dinner on the porch two days. The last night we had lovely, simple. local fish at Lil's place on the main road. Note that you will have to let Lil know you are coming a day in advance to be guaranteed food. I often find that I miss having a leaflet from the host with recommendations and a map of places to eat, to shop and to go. This sort of general information would be nice to have.
• Barrett (10/5): Safe, clean, and helpful host! - Our host was really kind and prompt in answering any questions and was helpful with what to do around the area. The neigborhood the apartment is in was really safe and clean. There was a parking spot available for our car, a full kitchen, and extra electric converters which was really helpful. The location was great for accessing the many different towns while staying in a quieter, safer area.

The host, KanXio is wonderful. She’s very helpful. The location is good. Very quiet. Friendly neighborhood. 10 minutes to a grocery store. 20 minutes to Rousseau. 10 minutes to champagne reef. The apartment offers lots of tv apps. The property was fine
• Simon (9/5): Nice small apartment. - Very nice small apartment with everything needed for two people. Almost no restaurants around.
• Andrew (8/5): Everything you need to enjoy this part of Dominica - Well-equipped apartment and a great base to enjoy Pointe Michel, Soufriere and Scott's Head. The minibus runs a few steps away for easy, affordable access to Roseau. In the other direction, Champagne Beach and Reef--though they are also served by the minibus, which can take you all the way to Scott's Head--are a 30-minute walk through the residential part of Pointe Michel, which is charming, and the town's friendly business district, then along the road between the cliffs and the coast. In Pointe Michel there's an excellent bar and restaurant, Lil's Place, with great local food at a bargain price and a friendly owner. Lil generously gave me a glass of bush rum--rum flavored with ginger--to celebrate Dominica's Independence Day. Lil also taught me my first Kweyol phrases: "Comment ou yé?" (How are you?) "Moi bien" (I'm fine.) Across the road there's a nice bar where on another day the friendly and helpful owner, Melvina, gave me a glass of her delicious rum-and-lime punch with angostura bitters. A few blocks north of the apartment is a quiet rural road that's an excellent place to hike. The host at KanXio's, Kaminer, was a pleasure to work and chat with. She will help you any way she can. Kaminer helped me by providing accommodations a day earlier than planned. I recommend KanXio's.
• Tiffiney (10/5): Overall excellent villa choice if staying in Dominica!! I would definitely book here again. - The property offers all the amenities and more. Full eat in kitchen with cherry wood cabinets. Microwave, coffee pot, stove w/ oven and refrigerator. Air conditioning, along with plug in fans. Wall mounted flat screen TV where you can access Netflix etc. living room has a nice small section with a throw carpet, over newly installed tile flooring. The bathroom was also a plus clean and fresh, with a nicely tiled shower. The bathroom sink offers counter space. The bedroom offers a queen size bed on the bottom with an attached twin bunk top in case you travel with your little ones. I didn’t mind the bedding arrangements as the property offered everything else I needed. It’s also within 8 miles to Roseau!!! Which is easily assessable by local or private taxi. N/A

• Roser (9/5): Comfy little apartment, well located for the southwest cost - We had a car and this apartment was very well located to explore the south-west coast of Dominca (Champagne beach, etc.). Aircon and fan provided. The hosts were friendly, very approachable and happy to help. They even gave us some yummy fruit. Thanks! :)
• Shamir (10/5): Dominica was amazing and we will book this apartment again - It's a short drive from the town centre with some stunning views of the mountains in the background. Quiet and peacefull. The host was pleasant and recommended a few places of interest to visit on our short trip. The apartment was very clean and equipped. The air conditioning was a big bonus. I would recommend this place to anybody Had to go home
• Edwards (4/5): Not peaceful, very residential - The host was friendly and met our simple requirements. An Inconsiderate level of noise very early in the morning between 5-6 from the family living above. I observed one of the rules was no pets yet we spent most of the time fending them off.
