Guest Reviews
- Nicole (9/5): Relaxing weekend in a cosy cabin - Lovely and cosy cabin in the woods. Clean and well appointed. Pet friendly too! Host also very responsive. Would definitely recommend.
- Megan (6/5): Not Happy - Lovely peaceful setting
Cottage has everything you need EXCEPT WOOD
Nice n clean
Well set out
Electric blanket on bed was awesome Heater in lounge seriously undersized, barely kept the chill off even with all the doors closed. Kitchen freezing cold so a little reverse cycle unit would be nice.
No wood supplied and costing $22 a bag cost us almost $200 for the week, that didn't include kindling to get the fire started.our small tomahawk wasn't big enough to chop the wood we bought into smaller pieces.
Have stayed at various places down south before where at least a few days wood was supplied if not enough for the whole duration of our stay..
Very disappointed with this factor of our trip having travelled over 400kms to stay here then having to spend that much money on wood is a sore point... nothing on web site stating you need to bring all ur own wood
- Jade (8/5): Very good - Well appointed, comfortable, clean and tidy. There was an unpleasant odour at the front of the house (lounge and main bedroom). It was quite cold not being able to light the fire. We used the split system air conditioner, but it is undersized and not very effective.
- Salome (8/5): Great place to stay - Secluded and quiet. Very nice place to relax with friends.
- Jayaraj (4/5): Nice place to stay, a little far from town, but it's ok. shower was a disappointment and no firewood - Secluded location, quiet among nature, even saw kangaroos and rabbits. No complaints on beds and location. The master bedroom light didn't work, or at least we cannot locate the light switch. The bathroom was a disappointment. There is not shower/toilet segregation and all shower water tends to flood up to the toilet area making all area wet. maybe owner could invest in installing a glass shower cubicle to contain the shower water and keep bathroom area dry. another disappointment was there was no fire wood upon arrival. I understand I need to buy wood if I need more, but to see just a few tinder wood is disappointing. we stayed 2 nights and we had to buy wood for both nights. Then I find there are actually wood under the house for firewood, but in locked cage. I contacted Dan the care taker, but he never responded my messages.
- Heather (10/5): A beautiful and comfortable cottage. We had a wonderful cozy time on a very wintery weekend ❄️ Will definitely be back - Gorgeous, secluded and comfortable well cottage.
- Katherine (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent house and grounds. Everything you need. Nice and clean and tidy.
- Branch (9/5): Superb -
- Jenet (9/5): The place was very comfortable and peaceful. - The coffee machine was a bonus and it was a great surprise to us that the kitchen was fully equipped with what was needed for cooking. The drain was blocked when we first had a shower, however the onsite caretaker was readily available to fix the issue.
- Andrea (8/5): Very good - Very tranquil well equipped and lovely location.
- Jessica (10/5): Cute, cosy cottage stay perfect for some family time away - Loved how equipped the cottage was and the beautiful gardens. Also loved how it was fenced off. Nothing to dislike. Main bed was alittle hard that's all
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful cottage that is very well kitted out. Nothing
- Vineeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Biljana (9/5): Superb -
