• HYEONG KWAN (10/5): - I would say this is a perfect stay for those who are traveling alone. It is almost as same as depicted online, plus very cozy and clean. Luisa had been super helpful and kind during my stay. Some might consider this place to be a bit far from beach and other main streets, but it was fine for me to walk around. The shower booth lacked shelf to contain washing items and the water seemed leaking(I think through the gap in the shower booth wall) but it dries off quick and Luisa took care of it by placing towel on the floor(and replacing it daily) so it wasn't a big nuisance.
• Gggrossi (10/5): - One of the best stays of our trip. The room is quite big, cleaned daily and the communal space is also very good. Luisa was very helpful and nice, strongly recommend casa Puka for a simple but comfortable stay!

• Petra (7/5): - Although the owner doesnt speak english, she tried her best. The room was cleaned every day. Its quite far from the center and the area is full of street dogs. Also the rooms are next to the kitchen and common area and if anybody is here, you can hear everything…
• Deniz (10/5): Family vibes in San Cristobal - This place is like staying with family. So if you wish to feel like you have family in Galapagos, stay here. The hosts are super sweet and they always have great recommendations for where to eat, what to see, which beach is great for which occasion..
• Josephine (10/5): Incredibly good value for money with everything you could need for a stay in the Galapagos and a lovely host! - The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, and had a private bathroom with hot water and shampoo provided. The shared kitchen facilities were fully equipped including oil and coffee to share, and free bananas during our stay. The rest of the shared living area was clean and had a large sofa with a smart TV and drinking water fountain for refills. There were also spare snorkels and fins available. The host Luisa is very friendly and helpful. Luisa messaged us to organise an early check in, was easily contactable, and made us feel very welcome. This place is great value for money.

• Dan (9/5): Clean, modern and easy place to stay in the Galapagos - Really good facilities with good shared kitchen and lots of utensils and equipment, a washing machine and shops just outside. They helped to arrange trips and were chatty and helpful while we were there. Only a short walk away from the main area, around 5-10 minutes. Good Wi-Fi and a nice clean bedroom.
• Claudia (10/5): Great stay in San Cristobal - I had a great stay at Casa Puka. Luisa is an amazing host, very kind and helpful, and her family is adorable. She is always reachable via WhatsApp for everything and can suggest beaches, tours, taxi numbers etc. The place is very clean and my room was really spacious for one person. The hot water and air conditioning work very well, and the bed is comfortable. There is a water dispenser in the kitchen available to use, which is great considering how hot it was in San Cristobal! Fins and masks for snorkeling are also available to borrow for no extra cost. The place is around 10 min walking distance from the main streets by the muelle, and also 10 min away from Playa Mann. I would return if I went back to San Cristobal.
• Heidrun (9/5): Sehr nettes Hostal - Die Zimmer sind sauber und die Betten bequem.Es gibt eine Gemeinschaftsküche und Schnorchel und Flossen sind auch vorhanden. Die Besitzerin ist extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit, obwohl sie kein Englisch spricht haben wir gut mit ihr kommunizieren können .Sie organisiert auch Touren und Taxis . Ein Wasserspender ist auch vorhanden. wir können das Hostal empfehlen. Nichts
• Matthieu (9/5): Buen hospedaje - Bonita casa, recién reformada, con 4 habitaciones y un gran espacio común (sala de estar y cocina bien equipada). Las habitaciones son grandes y las camas cómodas. Hay material para snorkel a libre disposición. Las paredes son un poco finas... Si hay ruido en la cocina, se escucha bastante. Faltaría algún perchero en la habitación, y un espacio para hacer secar la ropa mojada.

• Celeste (9/5): Super clean and spacious kitchen and rooms! - The shared kitchen and room were both amazing, super clean and fantastic. Luisa the host is super friendly and helpful. The bed is very comfortable and there is drinking water available to all guests which were our highlight, especially nice cold water! Sometimes the shower goes cold if you have the air con on at the same time but it’s not a problem as the weather is so hot anyway! And the Aircon was right above the bed so sometimes it got breezy in the night, but it was impossible to sleep without the Aircon as it is so hot!

La cocina tenia todo lo necesario para poder cocinar alli todos los días, nos sorprendió para bien. La única pega que le pondría sería la ubicación. Pensaba que estaría un poco mas cerca del centro pero era un poco molesto tener que andar a pleno sol durante 10-15 minutos para llegar.

• David (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at Casa Puca. Luisa was an amazing host - always reachable via WhatsApp, very quick to respond, and incredibly helpful with organizing taxis and tours. She cleaned the room daily and regularly checked if we needed anything. The kitchen was very well equipped, even with basics like oil and salt, and we could borrow snorkeling equipment from the hotel. We were also pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade, which shows how great the service is. Luisa is extremely friendly and caring. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

• Marco (10/5): - Questa struttura e’ stata tra le migliori dove siamo stati nel nostro lungo viaggio…. Stanza super pulita e accogliente, letti comodi, acqua calda nel bagno. A 10-15 min dal porto e lungo mare e quindi anche zona silenziosa. Luisa ci ha accolti e dato tutte le informazioni di cui avevamo bisogno in maniera impeccabile. Spazi comuni e cucina perfetta. Lo consiglio vivamente!! Grazie ancora 😘
• kyungnam (10/5): - 모든 것이 완벽합니다. 루이사는 호스트로서 정말 친절하고 무엇이든 물어보면 답해주신답니다. 청결은 기본이고, 공용주방도 엄청 훌륭합니다. 세탁기도 요청하면 무료로 돌려주신답니다. 중남미 여행 중 세탁을 그냥 해주는 곳은 이 곳 뿐이었어요. 옥상에 빨래 널기도 좋아요. 맛있는 빵집도 가깝고, 옆에 있는 수퍼마켓도 친절하고 가격은 시장과 비슷한데도 품질이 더 좋았어요. 항구 중심지까지도 걸어서 15분이면 가능하고 해변가기도 좋아요. 그리고 스노클링 마스크와 오리발도 무료로 빌려줍니다. 산크리스토발의 오아시스예요. 나중에 꼭 다시 가려구요. 망설이지말고 여기로 가세요!! 없어요.
• Jung (10/5): - 친절한 루이사 덕분에 7박을 편안하게 보내고 왔습니다. 빨래를 옥상에 널어뒀는데 외출중에 비가 와서 빨래 걱정했는데, 루이사가 지붕 아래로 다시 널어 주셨어요 너무 감사했습니다, 침구도 깨끗하고 엄청 청소하고 관리합니다, 근처에 Jekataro라는 치킨포테이토 식당이 있는데 맛있어요, 그리고 걸어서 바다사자가 많은 해변이 5분? 정도 거리에 있답니다. 냉장고에 얼음 얼려서 맥주랑 먹고, Lg 세탁기로 무료세탁 가능합니다. 너무 좋았어요^^ 한국분들 여기로 고고! 아, 건물을 올리고 있는중인데 낮에 투어가거나 그래서 큰 신경안써도 됩니다

• Lidia (9/5): - Luisa es muy agradable y atenta además da buenos consejos sobre que hacer en la isla. La ubicación es buena para ir a varios sitios caminando, tienes mini market cerca y puedes hacer uso de la cocina. Quizás el gallo mañanero que se levanta muy temprano 😅

The attention to details is fabulous from the construction of the building, the decor, the comfortable beds, hot showers, impeccably clean and bright, A/C, spacious room with closet and desk with shelves to store items, large well stocked kitchen. They provide drinking water and brought bananas too. Luisa is so friendly and kind and full of information. Very attentive to our comfort and who we were. We can’t say enough good things about our stay. Highly recommend a stay at this property. Would definitely come back here. We like everything. Sad to leave. (PS- There is some construction on the floor above as they expand this beautiful property but it did not start too early. )

• Edith (10/5): New and Immaculately Clean! Excellent Value - We loved our 3-night stay at Casa Puka! Everything was brand new, immaculately clean, the rooms were spacious, hot powerful showers and the kitchen was fully equipped- one of the best communal kitchens we’ve had in South America. The walls are a bit thin and all of the rooms come off the kitchen / dining space so can be a bit noisy if other guests are using it late at night or early in the morning.

It's only one year old so everything still feels brand new, entire place is very clean, kitchen well equipped and Luisa is just the nicest host. Amazing value for money and quiet location, 10-15 min walk to the pier and main area, but taxis are readily available too. 10min walk to Playa Mann.

She was super helpful and even helped my partner purchase a SIM card! - Casa Puka was a great place to stay for our time in San Cristobal. We enjoyed using the kitchen, which was very clean and the living room area appeared to be brand new. There was also free filtered water as well as three snorkels available to borrow. The rooms were cleaned every two days, which was a plus. Nothing - great value for price!
• Robert (10/5): Exceptional - An absolutely fantastic value, this small hotel is sparkling clean with nice bathrooms and comfortable beds and an absolutely great hostess. It's only a ten-minute walk to town, and you certainly can't beat the price. If you stayed in town, you'd pay $100 more per night. Highly recommend!

• Tom (10/5): Exceptional - Luisa was a great host amd kept the place spotlessly clean as well as advised us on our choice of activities. There was a good kitchen that allowed to cook. The rooms (twin and triple) were great. Nothing.
• Bart (10/5): Amazing stay - Luisa is an amazing host, very friendly and attentive. The bed is very big and comfortable. The kitchen has all the utilities you need. Water is also included. We extended our stay with 3 nights more and got a better price than through booking. The shower was a bit weird and clunky.
• Kayla (10/5): Simple stay with such a pleasant host. Best value on the island. - The house was spotless—Luisa did an amazing job keeping everything clean. It’s about an 8 to 10-minute walk from the pier, but if you don’t feel like walking, taxis are very affordable—just $2 flat between the town and the house, and $2.50 to the airport. The water pressure was excellent, and there was always plenty of hot water. We found two nearby markets perfect for grabbing snacks and breakfast items. The air conditioning worked flawlessly, and the area was quiet at night, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. The internet was fast and consistent throughout our stay. Luisa is incredibly kind and attentive—she goes out of her way to learn your name and is always available if you need anything. The only small item I can recommend is having a small shelf inside the shower for toiletries. None
• Ted (10/5): Exceptional - Luisa was very helpful. She provided useful information and always responded quickly and in person whenever I tried to reach her. Casa Luka is spacious and the kitchen is very well equipped. Coffee and fresh water are always available. It's at the edge of town but only a 10 minute walk to the downtown hub, and with mini markets right next door. Given the occasion to do so I would certainly return. Ideally it would have been nice to have a thicker pillow, but I did sleep comfortably.

My son enjoyed watching tv in the living room and my husband really liked the fact that there was a microwave so he can warm some food that we couldn’t finish 😊. I will definitely book again when back in san cristobal. Thank you Luisa!
• Jan (10/5): Wonderful - We had a fantastic time at Casa Puka! Spacious and clean rooms with a comfortable bed. Nice bathroom. Daily cleaning. Shared kitchen with all necessary amenities. But the cherry on top was Luisa, who made sure our stay was absolutely perfect. Borrowing us snorkeling gear for free and picking up the key we forgot to hand in at the airport. Really recommended!
• Sophie (9/5): Great base for exploring the island. - Luisa is lovely, friendly and helpful. WiFi is very good, also a nice big open kitchen which is well equipped. It’s a little bit away from the main harbour but everything is walking distance and there’s 2 supermarkets right next to Casa Puka. The living room is off your bedroom which means the light shines into your room if someone is watching tv at night, maybe some curtains in the room could help with that?

• Lina (10/5): New built, extremely clean, comfortable, quiet, super helpful host - Very new built house, the cleanest hotel from that type which I experienced in whole central and Southamerica, very comfortable bed, the bath was also extremely clean, the towels were changed every second day. Good working aircon (which I barely needed in November). The shower hat a regulation for hot and cold water and had enough pressure. There was also a small flexible shower head, so if you want to rinse something or not to get your hair wet it’s very handy. Luisa was very friendly and helpful with everything I needed - great tips for activities, organizing a SIM card, helping with where to put the wet diving clothes to dry, laundry service. There was a very clean and good equipped kitchen although I didn’t cook, but just made salads twice. There is a bigger supermarket 10 steps away and one smaller directly next to it. The location is great - It’s very quiet, so you don’t need ear plugs to sleep, very near (8min walk) to the center with restaurants and the pier. I would recommend. Casa Puka to everyone without hesitation. It’s a great value for money and great experience. Thank you, Luisa! Nothing, everything was great! (The walls are a bit thin so if you want to sleep and there’s someone in the living/kitchen area talking, than you hear every word, so you have to communicate this with the person speaking, as I did and the other guest was understanding so than the thin walls were not a problem)

The apartment and room was so clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped, and the TV in the living room was a huge bonus, especially on rainy days. Luisa is a very kind and gracious host. Thank you Luisa for providing us with such a fantastic and relaxing stay. I felt right at home! Definitely recommend!! Having hangers/hooks in room for towels would be nice

Lovely friendly host though you need google translate if your Spanish isn’t brilliant! The shower was difficult to regulate but lots of hot water. Hooks in the room would be useful for towels
• Dinelle (10/5): Exceptional - This property is nice and modern, very very clean with great facilities. The bathroom is nice with a hot water shower. Drawers and a table in the room which is super handy and a big size. Well equipped kitchen too if needing to cook. Luisa the host is so lovely and helpful. Cleaned my room and bathroom everyday, helped with recommendations around the Island and offers free fruit everyday. Great price! Would definitely stay again. Thanks for everything Luisa 😊
