BARAHONA FLORES (10/5): FANTASTICA - El hotel es super lindo, la ubicación es fantástica, super cómodo. El desayuno es un desayuno americano normal. Pero lo mejor del hotel es su ubicación perfecta, cerca de lo mas bello del centro histórico de Cuenca. HERMOSO tal vez le cambiaría el pan el desayuno a algo más casero, pero aún así es muy bueno.

Teresa (9/5): The staff was amazing. Friendly and helpful. My terrace looked out onto a beautiful cathedral. - Perfect location in the middle of the city center. I was able to walk to everything I wanted to visit. There is no elevator and my room was on the fourth floor. Still worth it but if you have altitude issues or are not in good health, be sure to get a room on a low floor.

Yo reservé la habitación económica y en ningún lugar encontré que era 4to piso por escalera, un detalle importante a la hora de reservar. Alexander nos atendió muy bien, atento a nuestros requerimientos, nos ayudó a subir y bajar las valijas. Los otros chicos también todos fueron muy atentos. Al igual q el valet parking. Al segundo día ya estábamos más entrenados en subir las escaleras, nos ayudó a poder subir a las cúpulas de la catedral

MARC (9/5): Beautiful stay in Cuenca, Ecuador. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 - I loved all of it. The satff were very polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The concierge attendants David and Erick were very willing to answer any questions and made many suggestions whenever needed. Mauricio, another of the front desk help, perhaps a bellboy, helped with my suitcases since the hotel does not have an elevator. The kitchen staff from the chef Monica to the server Nicole they were all very accommodating. A big THANK YOU to them all. This can be expected with most early 1900s buildings. This is a historically sound edifice with amazing rooms and vistas. I recommend it highly. The family size apartment is magnificent. With a cornerview of Cuenca. I can't say there was anything i did not like, even lack of an elevator, but stairs offered my daily step-fitness activities. If i keep going with this review, the hotel may become too busy for me to find an available room the next time i visit Cuenca. So i will say thank you to all i had an amazing visit. Thank you very much to my new friend David and the others.. Take care. I will be back someday. ❤️
gabriela (5/5): Lindo hotel, pero con muchas cosas que deberían mejorar - El personal muy respetuoso, amable y dispuestos a todo lo que se necesite. Parqueo pago a unas cuadras del hotel. Te traen y te llevan a auto. El hotel muy lindo y en el centro histórico, a una cuadra del parque Calderon. Al lado del Santuario Mariano, en el parque de las flores. No tiene ascensor y los pisos son de doble altura. Llegar a los pisos superiores se complica bastante si no estás acostumbrado a la altura, o si tenes algún problema de articulaciones. La limpieza de la habitación fue casi nula. Tenía que pedir que cambien las toallas porque, a pesar de que las dejaba en el piso ( como indican que hay que hacer para que las cambien) las levantaban a y las volvían a colgar para usar. Viajé con un perrito y me cobraron 10 dólares más por día, por temas de desinfección y limpieza (lo sabía con anterioridad y me pareció bien) pero ni siquiera barrían el piso en donde quizás quedaban unas migas de su comida. Al final me compré unas toallas desinfectantes para limpiar yo misma. Y lo más sorpresa de la estadía, fue que cada día,a las 6 de la mañana suenan por 10 minutos las campanas del Santuario Mariano ubicado frente del hotel. Y a la media hora se repite. Creo que es importante mencionarlo para tenerlo en cuenta si es que van a ir descansar. Desayuno buffet abundante pero poco variado.

Nuria (9/5): Buena Normal - Viniendo de otros hoteles de Ecuador, la Ubicación me pareció perfecta, el desayuno, estaba bueno pero poca variedad. Todas las mañanas teníamos que pedir la mantequilla y que nos tostasen el pan. No disponíamos de Tostador y tuvimos que molestar al personal y pedirles el favor. Al llegar tuvimos que pagar en efectivo porque no nos quería hacer el 15% del descuento por ser extranjeros, como nos habian hecho en el resto de los hoteles. Bastante feo por parte del Gerente. "Javier" el personal de Conserjería encantador pero un poco feo el comportamiento de Gerencia.

The team is willing to accommodate all requests. Construction is old and not really fit for a hotel, windows and shutters do not seal properly and let wind and noise come in. You can find unfinished walls and scratches all over the place. It feels unfinished. Also, during check in, you are informed credits card payments have a 7% surcharge. Would have been good to know that ahead of time.

Ivanna (10/5): Awesome. - Location for sure! You have the cathedral in front of you, the flower market crossing the street, the park one block away, the coffee shops around the corner. Also very clean, comfy and the nicest staff! Alexander, the receptionist, was always willing to help. The privacy was great and the building is landmark, so it was the cherry on top.
Patricia (9/5): We are very satisfied with our stay at Flore Hotel. The customer service is exceptional! - The hotel is located in prime location, steps away from main attractions. The front desk clerks, in particular, Alexander was very helpful, informative and accommodating. The mattress was very firm. The stairs are long and somewhat steep. There is no elevator. There weren't enough portable heaters available.
Mohamad (1/5): Bad - the staff is very goog specially Alexander he was very good bolite and very highly appreciated one of the best staff I ever met in my journey. the issue here is very very noisy place in the middle of city every 25 minute noise wake me up 3 nights of turur if you want agood quiet night sleep it's not the right one.

Jane (8/5): Very Central - Right in the old city. Big room with 3 beds including 2 on a mezzanine level. Well lit. Big shower with ample hot water. No lift but staff helped carry bags up the stairs. Central location so easy to walk to all parts of the old city. Nice historical building. Poor soundproofing. Room was on a main road that was busy and noisy. Breakfast eggs were made in bulk and not kept warm so they were stone cold if you arrived any time after the start time.
James (2/5): The desk people try to be helpful but the place is a shit hole - Breakfast was basically cereal and scrambled eggs Only good thing about this place was the location Don’t spill anything on the floor because if you wipe it up you will see how filthy it is Extremely noisy When you have your room cleaned they will take the dirty towels but you have a 50/50 chance of having new ones Toilet paper is the cheapest you can buy You have the roll on the holder If it’s empty and your room gets cleaned you will not find a new roll on it You have to call the front desk Apparently they don’t trust the cleaning people with it Had to wait 5hrs twice to take a shower No hot water
Guy (3/5): We would not stay here again. - Location is great and staff friendly and helpful housekeeping was poor. we had to ask for replacement towels and toilet paper as these were not replaced or replenished after cleaning. at one point in our stay there was not hot water. the location is noisy and you can hear the street noise in the rooms.
