• Edgar (10/5): Perfekt! - Sensationelle Lage mit tollem Blick vom eigenen Balkon. Sonnenterasse. Superfreundliche Betreiber. Großartiges Frühstück mit der Möglichkeit zur Marschverpflegung. Erst vor wenigen Jahren hochwertig komplett renoviert und alles noch neuwertig. Absolute Empfehlung und Geheimtipp für Wanderer, denen in Todtmoos zu viel Trubel herrscht. Keine Idee, was hätte noch besser sein können.

Tolle Betten, sehr ruhige Lage (dafür kurvt man ein bisschen hin), leckeres Frühstück, auf jeden Gast wird individuell eingegangen. Auch die Sauna zum individuellen Gebrauch nach Buchung fanden wir spitze.

En résumé un séjour enchanteur. Salle de bains un peu petite (mais rien ne manquait).

• Daniel (10/5): A hidden gem - What a hidden gem in the heart of the Black Forest. The accommodation is newly renovated, modern, clean, and welcoming. The hosts are simply amazing — truly wonderful people. On the night I stayed, I was the only guest, but that didn’t matter at all; they made sure I had everything I needed to feel comfortable. I never felt like just a guest, but rather like a member of the family.
• Bernd (10/5): Wunderschöne Lage und perfekte, zugewandte Gastgeber - Ich reise häufiger, beruflich und privat. Diese Urlaubsreise war außergewöhnlich gut, weil wir überaus freundlich, zuvorkommend und umfassend gut behandelt wurden. Das begint bei der Ausstattung des Zimmers, der Beratung welche Ziele und Freizeitaktivitäten vielleicht interessant sein könnten und hörte mit dem besten Frühstück ever noch lange nicht auf. Die Lage ist absolut ruhig mit sehr schönem Blick ins Tal und über die Berge. In 10 -15 Minuten ist man im Stadtkern von Todtmoos. (geht in die Konditorei Zimmermann und genießt die Kuchen oder die Suppen!). Verschiedene schöne Wanderwege unterschiedlicher Schwere und Länge laden zum Spaziergang ein. Was für ein schöner Urlaub! Die Gastgeber konnten alle unsere Zusatz-Wünsche erfüllen und so hatten wir eine perfekte Zeit. Schwer hier etwas zu schreiben, weil mir nichts einfällt. Wenn ich unbedingt eine Empfehlung geben muss, dann höchstens, die Parkplätze vielleicht durch weiße Linien besser einzuteilen....obwohl das die Sache unflexibler machen würde. Ich möchte immer gern helfen einen Prozess zu verbessern, aber mir fällt nichts ein.

• Alessandro (9/5): Gerne wieder, man wird als Freund empfangen. - Die Unterkunft ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet – das spürt und sieht man überall. Die Besitzer sind äußerst herzlich und kümmern sich aufrichtig darum, dass es ihren Gästen an absolut nichts fehlt. Das Abendessen wurde eigens für uns frisch zubereitet, und das Frühstück war einfach phänomenal – reichhaltig, liebevoll angerichtet und von bester Qualität. Hier fehlt es wirklich an nichts. Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen und Wiederkommen! Für Paare könnte das Bad in den Doppelzimmern etwas klein ausfallen. Uns hat das auf dieser Reise jedoch nicht gestört, da wir mit den Motorrädern unterwegs waren und ein Doppelzimmer jeweils als Einzelzimmer nutzen durften – perfekt gelöst!
• WilliBiene (10/5): Super Gastgeber und ein schöner Ort zum Wandern - Das Hotel war super. Sehr angenehme Menschen die sehr nett und hilfsbereit sind. Ich bekam reichlich Informationen über Sehenswürdigkeiten und die Wege dort hin. Auch die Bewohner in der Umgebung sind sehr nerr und auch hilfsbereit. Ich war ohne Auto unterwegs und die Wege sind lang. Es gibt einen Busfahrplan und eine Gästekarte dei einen erlaubt den Bus kostenlos zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu nutzen. Wenn aber nur Wandern möchte ist das ein sehr guter Startpunkt der zum Wandern einlädt.

• Elina (9/5): We had a long pleasant stay - The view from the room is beautiful. The room is clean and the bed and pillows are comfortable. The shower is comfortable: good water pressure and instant hot water. The location is very good - close to beautiful hiking trails, to the two main lakes (Titisee and Schluchsee), and an hour drive from the Rhine water falls and from Zurich. There's a small kitchen in the house for the guests to use. We used it once, was very convenient. The hosts are very nice and accommodating. It was clear that they tried to make the stay as comfortable as possible. They also took the time to give us recommendations and made sure daily that we're having a good experience. The curtains don't block the sun completely, so it was difficult to sleep after sunrise. The noise insulation is poor. There is no noise from outside, but everything was heard from the near rooms: people walking above us, people talking in the near room, some nights I could even hear someone snoring from some other room. I would have preferred to know the cost of the dinner when we signed up for it (I asked), and not at the dinner itself, especially that it was on the expansive side

• Carmen65 (7/5): Ein Haus an toller, ruhiger Lage mit herrlicher Aussicht. Geführt mit Herzblut und grossem Engagemen - Die Hanglage am Berg wussten wir im voraus und dadurch bietet sich einen wundervolle Aussicht auf die Hänge des Schwarzwaldes und das Haus liegt absolut ruhig - herrlich. Die Doppelzimmer sind frisch renoviert und hübsch anzusehen; es fehlen ein paar Kleinigkeiten. Der Hausgeruch mit den feinen Räucherstäbchen war sehr angenehm und wohltuend für die Nase. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und alles frisch. Für Nachschub wurde immer gesorgt und sehr kundenfreundlichen immer wieder nach unseren Wünschen gefragt. Die steile Auffahrt mit der fast 360°-Kehre ist anspruchsvoll. Wenn man nach 16:30 Uhr ankommt, muss man unten parkieren und die steile Auffahrt hochsteigen. Das Haus ist alt (aber sehr gepflegt und gut unterhalten ) und daher relativ hellhörig - wir hatten das Gefühl, dass die Zimmernachbarn bei uns im Bad sind. Sehr bedauerlich ist, dass die Hauptverständigungssprache im Haus ENGLISCH ist; zum Glück können wir uns fliessend in der Fremdsprache verständigen.

• Imran (10/5): Spectacular - My favorite place I stayed in throughout my entire trip in Germany. Above all else - above the amazing location, the comfort and design of the rooms, the delicious food, the calming atmosphere (more on that below) - what REALLY makes this place stand out is the attention to guests' comfort and the welcoming atmosphere provided by the hosts Michael and Alexandra. They really care to make their guests feel at home. I stayed only one night but the way they treated me, I felt like I was family. The location is beautiful, up in the mountains with natural views around. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, wood accents, supremely comfortable beds, an amazing balcony where I could see clouds below us when I rose in the morning. The Inn even has this natural calming scent that makes you feel at home. The food - oh, the food, how do I begin - first of all breakfast is catered to the guests staying at the place, they were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions without hesitation, eggs are served up as you like them, and Alexandra grinds your coffee fresh in the morning to order. She even suggested I make myself a little sandwich for a snack to take with me before I left. Dinner the night before was spectacular, and I ate with the other guests. What a wonderful experience. Writing about this place makes me emotional. It's a fabulous stay. I would return to Germany solely to stay here again, this time for a week. It was by far the most comfortable, welcoming, and calming experience I had during my entire trip. I hope to be a guest again soon. Thank you, thank you, Michael and Alexandra.

• Pavlo (10/5): Amazing experience - We had a wonderful stay at Sternen! It’s a beautifully renovated, family-run hotel in the heart of the Black Forest. Arriving by car was easy—there are several parking spots right in front of the hotel, and a larger parking area just a couple of minutes away. The owners, Aleksandra and Michael, are the best hosts we’ve ever met. They were incredibly attentive and made us feel completely at home. Each morning, they prepare a delicious breakfast, and in the evening (upon request), they serve amazing dinners. If you’re heading out for a hike, they’ll provide snacks and sandwiches. The village where the hotel is located is peaceful and quiet, and the surrounding area is full of beautiful hiking trails. At night, you can lie back and gaze at a sky full of stars. Breakfast was absolutely perfect, I am a vegetarian and there was so much to choose from and everything was really fresh. It was very clean, with an excellent breakfast and very friendly owners. - The owners were very welcoming, friendly and helpful, especially with tips of places to visit. Our apartment was spotless, and the breakfast was lovely and varied each day, with lots of cooked and cold items. Eggs were cooked to order, which was very nice. The owners catered for a gluten-free diet very well. Our children loved the playroom and felt it was their own special place! The setting in the hills and the views were beautiful. Just a few minutes' drive to a good supermarket. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to stay there again. Everything was great!

The breakfast was so delicious and the owners were ones of the kindest people I ever met! This place made our vacation better.
