- Renae (10/5): Absolutely Amazing! Hidden cosy little gem! - The cabin was so cute and cosy with everything we needed. The fireplace was definitely the highlight. It was all set up, ready for us to light and enjoy. So peaceful and serene. The stars at night were amazing! Felt like you were so far away from everything but in fact town was only a short drive away. Absolutely recommend for anyone wanting a peaceful place to stay. The miniature donkeys were also so cute and friendly and liked a nice scratch ☺️ Definitely telling everyone about this little hidden gem. Jodi the host kept intouch via msg through the whole booking and staying process and made sure we had everything we needed.
- Lachlan (10/5): Great stay - The cabin was cozy, clean and very comfortable. Host prepared the fireplace for our arrival which was very nice. The area was beautiful, with lots of wildlife. Nothing
- Alan (9/5): - The cabin was great, location was nice and peaceful, lots of wildlife, close to Cooma to get some shopping done and look at the local attractions. Jodi's donkeys were very friendly and topped off our stay. Nothing
- Hyun (7/5): Good - The host Jodi was very considerate. Toilet was a nature loo.
- Elliott (10/5): Gorgeously little cabin on a property just outside of cooma. Make sure to pet the donkeys every morning for good luck! - Great secluded spot. Well maintained. Great value.

- Kevin (10/5): Little secret cabin hidden in the forest just outside Cooma. - The location was amazing, when you drive into Cooma there is a turn off, you drive for 5minutes and see lots of wildlife around and the road ends, drive on to property and there you’ll find your sweet little cabin in the forest. Light your own fire place and get cozy, cook outside on the camping stove your meals and enjoy it inside with the fire place. Thank was amazing.
- Trudy (10/5): Perfect for a quiet relaxing getaway. I will definitely comeback to stay - I loved the privacy of the place. Very clean and cosy and the fire place was so nice to sit and relax I front of. The Donkeys were adorable and topped of the stay perfectly. Nothing
- Katie (9/5): Warm, cosy, peaceful - Loved the location, the bed was SUPER comfy. Jodi was super friendly and accommodating to our needs, she also bought us a bottle of champagne to celebrate our recent marriage which was absolutely lovely and such a personal touch. Loved the miniature donkeys as well! I wished that there was a way to block off the bed from the main area and the shower was a little crammed with the curtain, but other than that the place was wonderful.
- Jemimah (10/5): So charming and beautiful - 10/10 - Absolutely everything! Such a perfect, high quality cabin that has been set up for guests to be warm, comfortable, well rested and for them to be able to cook a great meal. Little details like having a full sized fridge was just what I needed and just added more comfort and convenience to my stay. The cabin is very warm and welcoming and everything has been well thought out and it’s in pristine, clean condition. It’s modern yet charming and full of character and quirkiness. It has everything it needs, and delivers everything it promises and more! The atmosphere and energy at La Casita is enchanting, energising and beautiful. It is nice and secluded and the bed is super comfortable! Full fridge, well set up kitchen and bathroom, and the fireplace heats up the cabin beautifully. A beautiful folder has been left on the coffee table with heaps of information including the history behind La Casita was such a beautiful read. Host is an excellent communicator and accommodation is pet friendly which is so appreciated! My fur baby was instantly comfortable and felt right at home. It was an absolutely perfect overnight stay. Excellent value for money. If anything could be improved I would suggest driveway access but fully understand that it would be difficult to maintain because of the rural location and of course, considering the impact of weather and elements, wear and tear etc.
- Jamie (8/5): Loved it. - The location was beautiful, the accommodation itself was quaint and very comfortable and loved that it was pet friendly. Food/cooking facilities would be a bonus but given the size of the cabin, completely understandable it may not be feasible.
- Sylvia (9/5): Superb -

- Christopher (7/5): Good -
- Kenneth (4/5): Rugged - Quiet
Wood stove did an excellent job. Access difficult: easy to ground car on rocky, rutted dirt road. Needs grading.
There are no views, despite claim on webpage.
Rubbish piles of timber and old pallets around cabin.
Just as well wood fired stove available because small electric heater inadequate.
Some maintenance needed.

- Thomas (10/5): A hidden Gem! The perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle and relax in tranquil nature - The location was lovely, it was in such a quiet and idyllic location. We had a lovely stay and whether it was the super comfy bed or the tranquil peace I had the best sleep. It was lovely relaxing on the verandah as the sun set and then cosying up by the wood burner, popping out to see the incredible amount of stars, free from light polution. It was a great base to explore more of the Snowy Mountain area the next day. Would highly recommend

- Risk (10/5): Perfect Bush Retreat - What can we say about La Casita? If you're after a cosy little retreat with lots of creature comforts and a spectacular bush setting, then this is for you! Firstly it's renovated beautifully with all the amenities you could need for a perfect getaway. The bed was especially comfortable with yummy flannel sheets and an electric blanket, perfect for the frosty evenings. The TV had all the streaming services. And the fireplace just completed the ambience. I loved watching Wally and Buddy frolicking in the adjoining paddock, and the neighbouring mob of Roos made it extra special. So close and convenient to Cooma. We just loved the whole experience. Thankyou Jodie for providing such a wonderful little cabin in the bush!
- Summer (10/5): My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights to visit the snow, the place was in a perfect quiet secluded area. Our stay was - This cabin may be small, but don’t underestimate this beautiful property!
My Favourite part of the cabin is definitely the fireplace, got the whole place warm in under 10 minutes. With plenty of firewood supplied to keep out the cold
The hosts here and generous with great quality linen and supplies, as well as assuring you’re warm enough in a number of ways, (oil heater, heated mattress, fireplace, blankets etc)
The value of this property is high that’s for sure.
- Karren (10/5): We loved our stay, Thankyou - It was so cozy & beautiful. We loved our stay. I wish we could have stayed longer. The toilet took a minute to get use to but overall was very Clean & didn’t smell
- Malvika (10/5): We had a wonderful time exploring Cooma and felt very welcomed by our host. - A quiet and cozy cottage with a peaceful landscape and friendly wildlife. The area is a little cold however ample heating options were available to make us feel comfortable.
- Manie (10/5): Fantastic stay. Exceeded expectations!! -
- Riccardo (10/5): Exceptional - Had a great overnight stay at La Casita, very peaceful and welcoming, fireplace was ready to go upon arrival which helped with keeping warm on the Frosty June night and added some nice ambience. Highly recommend.
- Paterson (10/5): Exceptional - We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to La Casita. Tucked away on Jodi's beautiful property less than 10 minutes out of Cooma township, we had full privacy and total comfort in her very tastefully renovated little cottage. We enjoyed a glass of champagne at the 'deck bar' of the cottage, started the log fire and warmed up dinner in the microwave. Ours was a halfway stop to Victoria, we enjoyed it so much we stayed again on the way back! Well done Jodi for creating a beautiful little place to stay and thank you for being such a wonderful host and easy communicator - we'll definitely be back!
