Nos permitiram adentrar antes do horário, o que foi maravilhoso depois de um longo voo. O hostel é simples, porém funcional e excepcional custo benefício. Fica um pouco escondido mas é só pedir informação que tá resolvido. Vale a pena demais ficar lá !!! O wifi não funcionou no quarto.

• Ekkehard (7/5): - The restaurant is totally overpriced. The cheaper dishes on the menue are never availible and the rest is too expensive for a hostel. For beer they charge twice as much as in a restaurant. So it is better to go to the supermarket.

Przyjechaliśmy w środku nocy, hostel był o tym poinformowany. Nie mogliśmy się dostać do środka - dzwonek nie działał, nie można się było dodzwonić, na pukanie nikt nie reagował;( Luanda jest niebezpieczna, a tym bardziej w nocy.
• Anne (10/5): The perfect hostel , an absolutely great place - Perfect usually does not exist but frankly this place comes extremely close to it . I really think that it is the best hostel I have been during my 50 years of travelling around the world . It is extremely safe with 24 hours security . We feel at home , it has a family feeling . Great breakfast ,well equipped kitchen , TV, good wifi , highly professional staff . The owner is also a great guy . So of course , I extended my stay . The roof top is fabulous. Not much English so was tricky for info & advise. Also it's a new hostel so Owner doing really well but still improving and working on it.

• SALEEM (8/5): AN ADVENTUROUS BUT GOOD STAY IN LUANDA FOR 4 NIGHTS - i stayed in this hostel for 4 nights. this hostel is a fairly new set up, the owner Antonio is a very fair and gentle man who means well and is trying hard to get his new hostel going successfully. however, there are day to day logistical issues he is having to grapple with. his hostel manager Gomes also is a very well meaning young man [btw they both speak very good English] but he gets confused easily as to the best way to achieve all his best well-meaning aims for all his hostel guests. Gomes picked me up from the airport and helped me a lot searching the many banks to get enough cash. Cash is King here in luanda, banks have limited withdrawals each day. Gomes also helped me to navigate the minibus system to reach the town centre and back. the 1st room i got was really not up to standard but although promised by Gomes, and Antonio, they could not switch me to a better room until i got really upset and threatened to leave to another hotel nearby after 2 nights. After that for the 3rd and 4th nights i got a decent room. The terrace upstairs is really nice for hostel guests to meet and chat. The noise levels in this hostel was difficult for me, the staff come in early from 6am and start talking loudly and the music and noise levels go on into the late night and early hours of the morning. So getting good sound sleep was a challenge for me. the breakfasts were good, gets you ready for the day. i felt the hostel management are really nice people but Antonio leaves too much responsibility to Gomes, and Edy and Edu, without checking on how things are really going on a daily basis. however, in spite of all this, i got to like Antonio, Gomes and the other staff and wish them all well in their business endeavours with this hostel. the noise levels....hard to get a good nights sleep the organisational skills of Gomes and Antonio...but they are both very well meaning and likeable people luanda is a generally safe city but you must be very careful on your own , especially after dark this hostel is about 5 km away from the beautiful luanda city seafront, one can walk it but it is fairly easy to use the cheap local direct minibus system

• Andrew (10/5): Excellent choice and Superb Staff! - Extremely clean and very safe. The staff was wonderful, as was its owner (Antonio). Very well priced, and a tour to Miradoura da Lua was offered for a very reasonable price. It was slightly noisy at night, but nothing was unbearable.

The guesthouse is located in a residential area where you can get a real sense of daily life and interact with the amazing Angolan people if you wish. At the same time, everyone is very respectful and won’t bother you if you prefer privacy. There’s a nice rooftop bar where you’ll enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast, and it also turns lively if you happen to stay over the weekend. The location is easy to reach: candongueiros to Mutamba (downtown) pass every couple of minutes, just a few steps away on the main road.

• SUGURU (10/5): - とても快適でした。スタッフの皆さんはとてもフレンドリーで親切です。毎日掃除をされていて、清潔を保たれています。ルアンダの暑い気候の中、エアコンも効いているしWi-Fiもとても強いです。オーナーが日本に住んでいたこともあり、とても親近感があり様々なことに対して助けていただきました。好きなホステルの１つです。 もしまたルアンダに行くなら、ここに泊まります。 場所が少しわかりにくいです。 大通りから路地に入って探すことができます。 また、時期的な問題かもしれませんが蚊が多かったです。

• KONRAD (10/5): Best hostel in Luanda for real travellers. - Unbelievable helpful and friendly staff. Well secured entry to the building- you need press the bell and wait for someone to open and let you in. Hot water at bathroom. Terrace with bar and good breakfast. It seams all members of staff was happily involved at job. Also great place to meet other travellers. Not obviously marked entry- lack of any banner. But with instructions sent by them is relatively easy to find. All habitants leaving around will point you the place.

• Heitor (9/5): Great staff. Good food. - The staff is the best. Edgar was a great host, very helpful and friendly and sort everything for us. The hostel has a small kitchen with serves food by Ludmilla, always taste and generous. Gomes, the manager, ws always around to take care of anything. Luanda is a city with a lot of constrats, fun and chaotic. The staff really helped to max our trip.

• Manuel (8/5): - El trato con los trabajadores del Hostel ( Eddie y su compañero). Nos facilitaron todo lo que necesitábamos. Estás personas son las que dan vida al Hostel. Las instalaciones pueden mejorar mucho. Los colchones son muy malos y los baños tienen que mejorar. Los precios de alguna cosas de la terraza no son acordes a lo que valen las cosas en Angola. Una cosa es que valgan un poco más caro y otra que sea tanto.
• BB (9/5): Awesome spot in Luanda - This is a cool little spot in Luanda. The staff was great and communication was good. I think I slept 12 hours when I stayed there so I can attest to the bed being comfortable. It's a good place to meet other travelers and their internet connection was decent. If I went back to Luanda I would definitely stay there again. The only thing was that you usually had to wait a while at the door before they could come down and let you in. They usually are on the third floor and might not hear the bell. When you arrive, don't just press it once --hold it down so it can ring a few times.

• Ronit (8/5): The first backpackers hostel in Angola - The staff is lovley!! The place is clean.a great place to meet other backpakers and change information. The roof restaurant is very bery nice The dormitories are small, and not enough courtains for minimum privacy
• Justus (5/5): Clean hostel with room for improvements - The place is clean and safe with a nice roof terrace. the mattresses in the dormitory are old, worn and thin as paper marking you feel as if lying straight on the wooden plank; WiFi was not working 2 out of 3 days; the gate is locked requiring staff to let guests in and out of the hostel, however, there have been multiple instances where I waited upwards of 5 minutes to be let in or out; location is not the best.
• David (7/5): Basic accommodation but functional. - We received a free breakfast of a tasty omellete. The staff were very kind and helpful. The price was good by Luanda standards. We were met at the airport as arranged. It is difficult to find the hostel, they need to put up a sign that can be seen from the street.

• Mary-anne (8/5): Basic but comfortable. Excellent customer service. - Gomez checked us in at 4:30am and was incredibly friendly and helpful during our short stay. A real gem of a man. The place suited our needs, which was a place to shower and rest during a flight layover. The place is a little hard to find! Our stay coincided with renovations, unfortunately. But that means the roof terrace will be lovely now!

• Katarzyna (10/5): Exceptional - Super nice, helpful and patient staff, ALL OF THEM WERE AMZING. They help with exchange money (fair rate), arrange taxi and just be great people. The owner wasn't present at property but he answer sms immediately if needed and was very nice and profesional. The hostel is clean and safe with big tarrace and a bar upstairs. The rooms have AC, towels are provided and you can even watch Netflix in living room. Wifi is perfect. There is also a kitchen with all necessary equipment for cooking. Breakfast can be prepared by the hostel, it's tasty and ist realy nce to eat it at the tarrace :) The location is great, relatively close to the airport and the city center. Markets and restaurant/street food are realy close to the hostel. I was there twice and definitely come back again if I ever come to Luanda again. I just LOVE this palce ;)

There is one guy at reception that speaks good English too. There is a supermarket nearby and download Yango to get around.

Extremely polite helpful and kind. - Value for money. - Close to the airport. - Staff are incredibly accommodating to exchange money for you and to assist with the airport transfers. - The mattress had a massive ‘body dip’ in it so I had to sleep to the side of it to be comfortable. - The hostel ‘lounge’ area was right outside the room so the TV and people talking could possibly be annoying for light sleepers. - No towels available. - No hot water in the bathroom.

• Veronika (9/5): Superb - Very friendly staff, going out of their way to make customers feel welcome. I arrived way before official check in and was welcomed with open arms. Loved the shaded terrace to relax! Strongest WiFi I had in almost a month in Angola. Also staff organised a transfer to the airport for me, which was bit challenging as I had a boxed bicycle with me that didn't fit into a normal car. I liked the location just outside the center, nice neighbourhood vibe, easy enough to get groceries and plenty eateries around, much cheaper than the expensive restaurants in the center or waterfront area. First night they upgraded me to a private room as doorm wasn't yet ready.
