• Eimear (5/5): Simple and near railway station - This is simple accommodation and does what it says on the tin. We stayed one night before getting a sleeper train so location worked for us as it is close enough for a cheap grab to the train station. There is a nice park nearby and it is close to public transport. It is definitely simple and maybe would not suit for a longer stay but it is good value for money! If you wanted to be closer to the centre of Bangkok it is far out and public transport can get busy.

• Jennifer (8/5): Overall good stay - The hotel is about a ten minute walk from the subway and BTS, which is very manageable. The hostel style room was fine, even if the beds were a bit hard. The individual lamps for each bed and shelves by the beds were a nice touch. There was also a nice upstairs patio space where you could sit and look out at the city. The bathroom was low on soap/conditioner, and a couple showers did not have soap dispensers at all. There were two sinks and one leaked, so it had to be turned off. No restaurant or breakfast options available, though there is a Cafe Amazon just downstairs, a 7-Eleven nearby, and a couple restaurants.

• Dane (7/5): Good - a five-minute walk from the station of MRT and BTS. near to Chatuchak weekend market and shopping malls. In the innermost room, the Wi-Fi signals are weak, so they are frequently connected and disconnected.

• Paul (7/5): Excellent value for money. A great location for Don Muang Airpoprt - Excellent value for money as long as you are not looking for luxury. We wanted a hotel 5 minutes from the airport so that we did not have to get up too early and the G9 was literally a short ride to the airport in their own minibus at just 40b per person. A very small reception room which simply confirmed the booking then led you to one of a series of small buildings around the corner or opposite. Breakfast was very basic - especially for a Thai as it was almost 100% toast and jam or a cheap form of cornflakes. Nevertheless, it was enough to stop you feeling hungry while checking in at the airport where there was plenty of small restaurants available. It was disappointing that with 3 or 4 buildings and what seemed to be a reasonable amount of people checking in/out that there was not one restaurant or coffee shop in the small soi that housed the hotel. Bed was a bit hard but it was OK for one night.

After few days my bank informed they blocked my card due to suspect fraud. They blocked, no damage for me. This hotel was only place in TH I used this card, so...better pay cash here.

I did two questions, they never answered. Thai people are usually very gentle and efficient, this is the first time i feel little interest. The next time I will try another place.

• Hui (8/5): Good location, worth for price. - Location is good, in around 10 min walking distance reached Chatuchak Weekend Market. Nearby Chatuchak will have MRT and BTS, also with 10 min driving distance will reach Bangkok Bus Terminal (Chatuchak aka Mochi 2).

Very old hotel. the ceiling is low, elevator is slow, there is nothing in the room no TV, no fridge, no fan. The air condition is old. toilet is look old without decoration. Too much rule such as if lost towel pay ....USD, lost glass pay...USD, lost minor pay ....USD. Have to deposit 500BTH or give passport to receptionist.
