- Alan (6/5): A basic and compact self contained apartment in a somewhat dilapidated building. - Proximity to the bus station and it was cheap. It was not as clean as we expected - for example, very dirty on top of the fridge / freezer and it was poorly equipped - for example, minimal kitchen utensils and no bedside tables. As commented on by others there were also some plumbing issues (for example, a very loose kitchen tap) which could easily have been rectified.
In the light of these shortcomings we really struggle to understand the 9+ average rating given by previous guests to this property as for us it fell well short of this level. In our opinion you should be able to find much better accommodation unless your number 1 criteria is its proximity to the bus station.

- Evgenii Morozov (10/5): - Everything was great! The hostess was very responsive and friendly. The apartment was incredibly cozy!
- Tra (10/5): Great price value and cozy place for a short stay - The flat is full of daylight, comfortable and close to the bus station. It has everything needed to a short stay at El Calafate.

- Janette (9/5): Host went the extra mile for us - Very easy to communicate in English with Gisela. She went the extra mile for us and looked after our luggage for the day while we waited for our early evening flight. This was much appreciated.
- Christopher (9/5): Great stay, very convenient location for the bus station. Fast and easy communication with the host - So close to the bus station. Closer than we even realized cause we walked right past it. Really comfortable, all the facilities a couple could need. Nice touch providing a hanger in the bathroom specifically for hang drying clothing. Towels seemed especially soft. Fast communication with Gisela, the host Payment is only in cash so there’s no getting around paying the 21% VAT. We didn’t realize that at the time of booking. Still a very reasonable price, though. While it’s extremely close to the bus station, it’s about a 10-20 minute walk into downtown, depending on how fast a walker you are. There was a small leak out of the back of the toilet, but the host wasn’t aware. Now that it’s been pointed out it should be fixed going forward.
