Thomas (8/5): Simple and nice stop close to puerto jimenez - The kindness of the host, the large unit, hot shower, good breakfast included, safe parking spot, possibly to order lunch or diner and very close to El tiger entrance of Corcovado. AC was working great. Not too far away from Puerto Jimenez ( 20 min but the road is bumpy) Nights can be a little loud with the dogs and the neighbors' vehicle. You have to pay cash, no other way to pay.
Peter (10/5): - Frederica and Dario are kind and welcoming hosts. My room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and there is an option to have other meals for an additional fee. Frederica is a wonderful chef! I loved sitting up on the observation deck - so many birds! Dos Brazos is a lovely quiet village with multiple options for hiking and exploring the jungle. I hope to return! Nada.
Erik (9/5): Superb - Everything was to our satisfaction. Dario and Frederika were wonderful hosts and were always there for our needs. Dario also arranged a fantastic guide Jose with whom we could discover many animals, including several sloths! A bit more breakfast and coffee in the morning would be great!
Marek (9/5): Superb - Location, Federica&Dario are perfect hosts, room is clean and the price vs comfort rating is excellent. Simple but cheap and so friendly. Internet connection is poor but this a problem in the whole village.
Colin (10/5): Just book this place, it is amazing. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ - The best place we stayed in Costa Rica. Dario and Frederica have set up something special here in Dos Brazos, near the Corcovado National Park. Set in the heart of the jungle, in a lovely small Gold Mining village this beautiful guest house is a fantastic place to stay. Great welcome, the most comfortable bed, shower and space of our trip so far. A lovely fresh breakfast, great self catering facilities (but Frederica is a chef and will cook your dinner). Watching the jungle birds from their deck was a true joy. They went out of their way to book us a guide for a day exploring the jungle - a shout out to Jose who was a brilliant tour guide to the jungle. He grew up in the village, was fantastically knowledgeable about animals, history and Costa Rican life. Speaking excellent English. He is also a great artist - get him to show you the furniture he makes. Dos Brazos is also worth a mention such a lovely little village, the residents there welcomed guests so warmly, everyone we met had a smile and hola. Try the homemade ice creams advertised from small house! Perfect treat after a hot walk. La Casita means little house, but this is a little house with a big heart thanks to Dario and Frederica’s love and attention to detail. Perfect in every way and I wish we could have stayed longer (forever!). grazie per la vostra accoglienza e ospitalità. è un piacere conoscervi entrambi.
