• Sonja (10/5): Fantastische Unterkunft mit Blick auf den Titicacasee - Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend und das Frühstück bekommt man aufs Zimmer gebracht. Die Unterkunft liegt im Norden der Insel und ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet, die Betten sind sehr bequem, es steht ein Heizlüfter zur Verfügung und es gibt eine heiße Dusche. Die ruhige Lage ist fantastisch mit Blick auf den See. Zur Unterkunft gehört eine Terrasse von der man wunderbar den Sternenhimmel betrachten kann. Klare 10 Punkte für diese fantastische Unterkunft. Viele lieben Dank an Sayda und Oscar, die diese unvergessliche Zeit möglich gemacht haben. Da gibt es nichts

Not only the property is beautiful and in a serene location but the care and excellent service from Zaida, the owner, cannot be matched. Everything was great.

The host was absolutely lovely and very accomodating. Thank you for a beautiful stay, we wish we could have stayed another night. Like others have said, it’s an uphill walk, but we actually really enjoyed it - cute animals along the way and beautiful views.

• Ruth (10/5): - Oscar und Sayda unsere Vermierter*innen waren sehr zuvorkommend. Da wir kein Boot mehr für die Insel bekommen haben, wurde für uns ein Privatboot von einem Freund organisiert. Die Unterkunft ist ca. 1 km außerhalb des Dorfes, der Weg hat eine leichte Steigung. Zum Essen muss man entweder ins Dorf gehen oder kann für einen Aufpreis von ca. 35 Bs pro Gericht auch in die Unterkunft bestellen. Es war sehr ruhig und wir hatten von allen Zimmern aus freie Sicht auf den See.
• Freddie (10/5): - Beautiful lodge, with an insane view and great access to a couple of quiet beaches and the archalogical site in the north. Getting a boat to the north is super easy just take a bit longer. The town is a good 15 minute walk from the lodge where you will need to go for every meal but there’s some decent restaurants. Can’t go wrong with the trout. The host was super lovely and really helpful.

• Clayton (10/5): Amazing hotel ran by amazing people! - Amazing! The kindest people and the most amazing view! Also they have great WiFi Get ready for a hike to the property lol. Maybe 15-20 minute walk uphill from town. (But it was a therapeutic journey through the beautiful village)
• Magdalena (10/5): - Der schönste Ort in Bolivien!! Das Zimmer ist wunderschön mit einem herrlichen Blick auf die Bucht. Der Ort ist wirklich einmalig. Man kann eine schöne Wanderung von der Unterkunft aus machen. Außerdem durften wir das Ruderboot von Oscar ausleihen und damit in der Bucht fahren. Die Gastgeber Oscar und Zaida sind so freundlich, haben uns tolle Tipps und ein wunderbares Frühstück gegeben. Danke für den wunderbaren Aufenthalt!! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Nichts :)

• Megan (10/5): Perfect hotel. - I had the most peaceful birthday here, in our room overlooking the lake. The rooms are tastefully decorated and spotless and the little private patio is so lovely. The staff are so sweet and kind too. Thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting the island.

• Guest (10/5): - Nous avons passé un séjour absolument merveilleux ! Les hôtes sont incroyablement gentils, accueillants et toujours disponibles pour nous aider ou nous conseiller. Ils ont même eu la délicate attention de préparer une petite surprise pour notre amie qui fêtait son anniversaire, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus spécial. L’hébergement est propre, confortable et dispose d’une bonne eau chaude pour la douche, ce qui est très appréciable après une journée bien remplie. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit et nous y reviendrons sans hésiter !

• Nadine (10/5): Unschlagbare Lage am Titicacasee - und sehr freundliche Gastgeber! - Der Norden am Titicacasee hat uns einfach sprachlos gemacht und die Aussicht vom Bett auf den See, auf die Sterne und den Sonnenaufgang waren einfach unbezahlbar. Die Unterkunft ist super ausgestattet - von Heizung bis Haarföhn und Wasserkocher alles da. Das kleine Frühstück wird direkt ins Zimmer bzw. auf die eigene Terrasse gebracht, man wählt im Vorhinein was man bekommen möchte. Die Inhaber sind super freundlich! Es ist von Vorteil wenn man etwas spanisch spricht, aber es klappt auch gut sich ohne viele Worte zu verständigen :-) Wir empfehlen‘s definitiv weiter!!

• Oceana (9/5): Paradise and adventures await - Staff are incredibly kind and accommodating. The breakfasts are delicious, rooms spacious and comfortable with incredible views and location, paradise! Also they have optional tours and extras you can book which made my birthday stay very special. They even helped organise a cake and garlands which was very sweet. Lovely hot showers to warm up after a dip in the lake too. Lots of building work going on around but doesn’t interfere so much with your stay. Description did say a bathtub was available but we found out after arriving they do not have any so some miscommunication there. Dinners are ok but they did wait around for us arriving late which was very appreciated

The owners had thought of everything we would need and made it available. We had dinner there both nights of our stay as the town is a little bit of a walk and the food was delicious and well priced. The owner was quick to respond to any question we had and was very sweet. It took a little bit of trying to get the shower temperature just right, but once we did it was perfect.

• Franca (10/5): Beautiful property - I stayed here with my sister. The place is beautiful, perched above the village of Challapampa overlooking the lake. We spent the whole day sitting on our balcony in the sun, just relaxing. The addition of a kettle and tea in the room was much appreciated. Despite us not speaking much spanish, we communicated with the owners via WhatsApp and they were so helpful and provided recommendations. Breakfast is delivered to your room. There's a beach you can reach and we went swimming even though it was cold. Would highly recommend for a relaxing night on Isla del Sol. Having stayed another night in the south, we much preferred the north! Nothing - we only wished we could stay longer to relax!!
• Bhawna (10/5): Superlative - Inti Wata is a superb place, in a quiet corner of Challapampa, overlooking lake titicaca. My room had 4 windows, so I had a stunning view of the full moon rising over the lake from the bed and the sun rising from the east in my bed. The pueblo of challapampa is just a 15 minute walk away where there are a few restaurants. Inti Wata as its own private access to a small beach which was lovely to go sit in the morning sun with no one else around. Its a very quiet and calm place and just seeing the lake from the windows sitting at the table was a spiritual experience. The hosts Oscar and Zaida are just lovely people. Very friendly, kind and accommodating. I enjoyed the included breakfast sitting on the porch outside in the rising sun. I cant see enough good things about Inti Wata. The room is exactly as it is shown in the pictures. And there is a room heater in the room for the very cold nights. A water kettle, tea bags and comfy sitting areas completed the picture for me. I broke a glass and the hosts refused to take the money for it. I had to insist. Also, the day i reached, it was quite late due some boat related confusion and I was super hungry. I only asked for a piece of bread, but they got me a sandwich, hot chocolate and orange juice and did not charge me for it. I had booked for 1 night, but I ended staying for two. And if I ever go back to Challapampa, I will definitely stay with them. Si q claro!

It is a beautiful walk through farmland and nice views over the lake to get to the nearby ruins. The dinner served at Oscar's family restaurant in town is excellent. Thank you for a lovely stay!

• Antony (7/5): Quiet spot to enjoy the local experience. Just know what you are renting. - The host Oscar and family were great and very accommodating. They offered beer and breakfast and the ability to hand wash some clothes. The room was clean, and had a great view. Have the right expectations and you will enjoy this private spot away from all the tourists. You will be walking the foot paths daily with the locals sheep, cows and Lamas. While the room was good, the booking.com listing makes it sound a bit more elevated than it is. There is no restaurant, or concierge.. you are renting from a nice local family and the building itself is at the base of their farmers field. A bit hard to find, there is a sign to show the way as you need to walk through their property on a dirt path to get to the building. It is more of an Airbnb than a lodge. They except cash only, no card so bring money as there are no ATMs on the island.

• Daniel (10/5): Breathtaking scenery, fantastic hosts, unique experience. - Absolutely stunning view of the lake and surrounding area. A bit out of the way but that’s part of why it’s good because you’re so separated from all other noise and light which makes the ambience at night unparalleled. Really close to the main hike of the island. Great WiFi connection. Shower was nice and warm. Oscar was an amazing host and made a fantastic breakfast for me. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.
