- Range (7/5): Enjoyed the stay very much. One of the coldest weekends in Adelaide - Location was great. Gas heater in the open area was great. Parking behind roller door was great. Prompt response from Swainson was good. Cutlery was dirty. Some pots had old food scraps in. We had to wash everything before using it. No heating in any of the rooms. I have never before had to pay a deposit for accommodation, let alone $500. The booking process through Swainson was very demanding. A lot of personal information of all guests were requested. I did not feel comfortable supplying that information of others. Again never requested before
- Newman (1/5): Wish I had read reviews before I booked. Would not recommend staying here. - The location was good, quiet, and close to West Beach. The home was unclean, and had previous guests public hair left in the bathroom. Dirty, dusty even had finger marks whipped on the wall with what I can only hope was brown make up! Dirty glasses in the cupboard and TV remotes didn't even have batteries.
And the check in procedure was way over the top as well as the excessive $500 bond that gets taken out of your account and then have to wait days for a refund.
- Diana (5/5): This place would be beautiful if all the maintenance was addressed. Either that or bulldoze the house. Please reconsider - Everyone had their own room and personal space and it’s quiet & peaceful, although neighbours noise did echo into the backyard. This place needs serious maintenance which I brought to their attention but it also appears previous stayers have too and nothing has been done to fix the issues.
This is not worth the money they advertise when you can get a newer property in the same/near suburbs for half the price. The place was cleaned in a rush before our arrival & we didn’t get what was advertised. Mould in the bathroom with poor ventilation and a window that doesn’t open, air conditioning didn’t work at all and no one available to fix it for our 7 day stay. Kitchen cupboards broken, bedroom doors broken or didn’t close properly. Overgrown garden each side of the driveway that scratched my car each time, couldn’t get access to park car behind the roller door because the remote didn’t work. Dirty bbq, dirty dishes in cupboards. No soap etc in bathrooms sorry 1 small tube of everything to share between 2bathrooms & between 5 people. no tea & coffee facilities that they advertised apart from a kettle, no tea towel etc. it took 3 days for this to be rectified when this could have been addressed the first night or atleast the second.
Atleast the gardener came yesterday to do the front yard.

- Anonymous (8/5): Great spot and would stay here again. - Location and surrounding shopping centre, park and beach. Very quiet. Large and comfortable house with great gas heaters to keep warm.
