De ruimte in de kamer was prima voor een tweepersoonskamer. Minder stankgeur in het hotel dan wordt beschreven in de overige reviews want voor ons rook t degelijk fris. Overal prima service. Niet veel bijzonders over het algemeen prima prijskwaliteit verhouding.

• Evan (10/5): Breathtaking view of the pyramids at a good value - The location was great for visiting the pyramids, and fairly close to the GEM. It's not close to anything else though. The staff worked so hard to make the experience a nice one at all times. They truly went above and beyond. I am grateful for their kindness and attentiveness. The room was a reasonable price, though the mattresses were very different from one bed to the next. I was glad to have a fridge in my room, and the bathroom was spacious with a nice shower. A place to hangout, like comfy seating on the rooftop would be a game changer. You could tell they are a newer establishment, and trying to work out some of the kinks, but they're trying!

• Oliver (3/5): Avoid - I was double charged and had to fight to get my money back - - The hotel was fairly clean. - You can see the pyramids from the roof. - The female staff were very kind. - There was a very poor understanding of hospitality by the manager. - The manager, Ahmed double charged me depsite the fact I had already paid in advance online and then said it was my problem, so he wouldn't deal with it, and I had to spend a many hours trying to get the money back from Booking.com - The area around Giza is very dirty and run down. It's a hole really. I'd advise staying downtown Cairo and only coming to Giza on a tour.

Staff were fantastic — friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with. Daily complimentary water provided (4 bottles with breakfast + 4 bottles for the day for my family of four). Apartments were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Brand-new AC units that work very well. Large bathrooms and toilets. All essential facilities available, including a fridge. Iron was provided immediately on request. Very clean building entrance. Excellent location with a direct view of the Sphinx and extremely close to the pyramids’ entrance. Breakfast was the same every day — more variety would be appreciated. Occasional sewage smell from the bathroom in my room (the second bathroom was fine). No ironing board provided. The road leading to the hotel is unpleasant, as you pass by horse and camel stables, which can be muddy and have a bad smell.

The view of the Pyramids from th eroof top was priceless, and the food the was provided was great! I truly recommend if you are on a budget, and still want great service with a smaller budget this is the place. The room were very clean, and the staff really was making sure you were happy. My overall experience was very memorable, and I would easily stay again.

Επιλέξαμε να μείνουμε ξανά στο ίδιο ξενοδοχείο γιατί ήταν το ιδανικό σημείο με θέα τις πυραμίδες και πολύ ωραίο ναργιλέ! Καθαρό και μύριζε όμορφα και όλο το προσωπικό ευχάριστο και ευγενικό να σου προσφέρουν τα πάντα! Το συνιστώ για κάποιον που θέλει να έρθει και να μην έχει έγνοια για τίποτα γιατί ο Αχμέντ ο ιδιοκτήτης κανονίζει τα πάντα και λύνει οποιοδήποτε πρόβλημα και αν προκύψει!

Το service και τα παιδιά ήταν πολύ ευγενικά και προσπάθησαν με τον καλύτερο τρόπο να μας ευχαριστήσουν! Κλείσαμε όλες τις δραστηριότητες μας μέσω του Αχμέντ του ιδιοκτήτη του ξενοδοχείου σε πολύ λογικές και δίκαιες τιμές! Μας είχε οδηγό με αυτοκίνητο για την μετακίνηση από και προς το αεροδρόμιο και γενικά όλα τα είχε οργανώσει χωρίς κανένα πρόβλημα! Ο,τι και να χρειαζόμασταν ήταν εκεί! Ακόμα και τις δραστηριότητες στο Λούξορ τις κλείσαμε μέσω αυτόν και όλα ήταν τέλεια! Εκεί είχαμε την τύχη να έχουμε την καλύτερη ξεναγό Όλα που ήταν δίπλα μας σε όλα! Γυρνώντας ξανά πίσω στο ξενοδοχείο του Αχμέντ μετά από 2 μέρες μας έκανε πολύ νωρίς το πρωί check in και μπορέσαμε να ξεκουραστούμε! Η εμπειρία αυτή ξεπέρασε τις προσδοκίες μας και το ταξίδι μας ολοκληρώθηκε με απόλυτη επιτυχία.

Everything is very clean. The beds are comfortable. The owner of the hotel is very kind and ready to meet every request of the guest. We felt welcome and would come again.

• Laurent (10/5): Brand new hotel. Pleasant and quiet experience away from the hustle! - Amazing value hotel, newly constructed, very comfortable mattress (firm), very clean and modern rooms. Located 3min walking distance from the entrance of the Giza plateau, with a very accommodating staff. I ended up booking a longer stay than originally anticipated. I would definitely stay again with family, if i return. Overall, highly recommended! Location is just past some horse stables, which was no problem to me (no odour, and no particular noise). There were a couple of teething issues (no hot water for 1 night, and an opening in the wall for A/C from which a little dirt came down). Hossam was understanding and very quick in responding to both issues: he even offered staying in a different room while he could address them. These things will happen for a brand new hotel, it's all about how the staff respond to them. And in that respect, everything was very smooth. Perfect experience!
• Laurent (10/5): Perfect hotel for visiting the Giza plateau! - Hotel is brand new and very clean / comfortable. The staff was very friendly and ready to provide any assistance whenever required. Breakfast can be taken on a rooftop of a sister hotel for an amazing pyramid view, or in the room at the hotel itself (terrasse not yet constructed). Highly recommended place to stay when visiting Giza! I would certainly return! Couple of teething issues (the hotel is brand new) but Hossam from the hotel staff was very quick to respond and even offered staying in a different room while the issues were being sorted out. Amazing staff overall!

• Ashok (1/5): Location: Smell of Camel and Horse Dung, Noisy location and bad attitude of Staff Mr. Hossam - Nothing Location Basha Pyramids inn is located in a very shabby street which is adjacent to horse and camel stables,the whole street emits foul smell of horses poo , the street is muddy and filthy. It took the taxi driver 2 hours from Cairo Airport to locate this inn,there is no proper signage on the main road which can indicate the location of the inn. Noise of roosters crowing ,horses neighing ,cats fighting can be heard through the night Rooms are on the first floor and do not have any ventilation or exhaust in the bathroom. The day we landed after a long flight,we just wanted to sleep, but could not, because of the maintenance work being carried out past midnight, in the adjacent room at Basha Inn. There is no sound proofing of the room .and the disturbance from the neighing of horses and camels from the neighbouring stables,cats fighting can be heard throughout the night We booked a room for 3 adults in a room,but the things like water bottles, shampoo, conditioner coffee /tea bags were replenished daily ,but for two people ,though we booked and paid for three adults in one room My wife had a stomach infection,due to water bottles being filled, at times, from the tap and given to us for consumption. Basha Pyramids Inn Staff. Mr Mohamed: He was good and helped us with our baggage and tour related information. Mr Hossam: This person was only only interested in making money . He once asked us to pay $2 for 2 bottles of water,when I brought this up with the management he returned $2.Yesterday ,he came to me with some Egyptian paintings and made an offer to me for purchase.On one occasion he locked the door of a room where my wife's, injection was stored in the refrigerator ..He also provided tap water instead of mineral water. Breakfast: Pictures showing breakfast arrangements on the terrace are from a different location ( Sahara Pyramids Inn) which is at a distance from Basha inn.
• Katarzyna (1/5): The stench of camel droppings and scam - If you expect a view of the pyramids, here are only photos. Read the description because in fact there is no terrace in this property. The way to the hotel leads through a road full of camel droppings, so you can't open the window in the room. The stench camel droppings is everywhere. The staff couldn't make their own decisions about anything without calling the boss. The staff was very helpful at the beginning, we could check in earlier and take a bath, and over time, as during the entire stay in Egypt, intentions emerged. A fee was expected for hanging out wet trousers to dry. The staff had the whole day to change the money, and then the next day it turned out that they were not allowed to give the change. After the quarrel, the rest were found. Breakfast ordered for 8 arrived at 8:15. We were supposed to board the plane at 8:20. Because of this, we didn't have time to eat and we couldn't get takeout. We paid and we couldn't eat.

Management Hamada and Abody go above and beyond to ensure guests feel well looked after. As a single solo traveller, Cairo can be daunting, but they assisted with making me feel safe, comfortable, even accompanying me to a local store. The are absolute professionals. Breakfast was in a nearby hotel and delicious. They also organized a few tours at great rates compared to others I saw online. As a savvy traveller looking for a great place at a great price, with honest management, this is a gem of a find for other solo travellers looking to be close to pyramids. Breakfast views were an amazing bonus too! Nothing of significance, honestly overall wonderful

• Menna (10/5): Would love to do it again - Honestly quite a lot if i may say; first off let me start with the owner I think? He was very caring, helpful and polite, till we arrived he made sure that we knew were the place as it was a bit hard to get to the place without his instructions, Once we arrived he was waiting for us outside the building and escorted us to the reception then the room. The hotel was very clean and even though the street smelled really bad the bokhour scent would hit you right in the face as you just walk in to the rooms which was very nice because we were worried we’d have to deal with the bad smell the whole night but that wasn’t an issue at all, as for the accommodations you do get a flat screen tv with almost all channels (which definitely was a first), the bathroom is very clean with sanitary products , the water flow was very good and you can adjust temperature quite easily, also the breakfast was good. Lastly,The rooms are soundproof and there’s privacy. That’s definitely going to be my go to place when i travel to cairo, for this cheap price and the outstanding service we had im sold! The mattress was a bit hard for my liking.

Everyone was so nice to us, they really made us feel loved and safe. Everyone at the reception speaks English very well, so communication wasn’t a problem either. Abody and Mohammed helped us in everything, gave us good advices, and told us so much about Egypt, Cairo and the culture. If we needed anything, they would help immediately. It’s important to find a safe place in Cairo, and this Inn is one of the few. :) We absolutely recommend it. :) 10/10 ✅
