Guest Reviews
- Lyn (9/5): - Lovely location, warm and friendly home with everything we needed.
- Sanam (7/5): -
- Prinyaporn (9/5): - Very comfortable accommodation with all the essentials provided.
The kitchen and kitchenware were especially great. We had a small issue with the TV, but the host responded quickly and arranged a new TV with a technician the next day. Very responsible and easy to communicate with.
The location is excellent and convenient. Overall, a pleasant stay
- Claire (9/5): Perfect for our cozy family Christmas in North Van! - The house was beautiful, perfect location for our needs. The bedrooms were ample size, lots of space. Dining room and living room was great. Rain prevented us from using the outdoor space but it looked nice. The projector and sound system was awesome! There were no measuring spoons in the kitchen. While we loved the projector, there weren't any instructions on how to use it or the tv, we just figured it out on our own. The handover was a little hands off but that was okay, the door code was easy to get in and all the amenities were ready for us.
- Karin (8/5): Comfortable house in excellent location. - The location was very good for us, off street parking available. The house was comfortable and the kitchen well stocked for our needs.
The owner communicated well with us before the stay and made sure the bedding was non allergenic.
Excellent WIFI/internet. It could have been a bit cleaner. Some of the bedding was a bit dusty. It would be good if the TV would allow for airplay or screen casting.
- Zelna (9/5): - Very nice house in beautiful neighbourhood. Very well equipped! Walking distance from Capilano Suspension Bridge and also small supermarket and sushi restaurant.
- Gayle (10/5): Incredible location. Beautiful property. - Nice neighborhood. Close to Grouse Mountain and Capilano Suspension bridge. Accommodations were perfect with 5 bedrooms and 2 baths. Owner very responsive to messages. Beautiful house. Little warm the first night but being on the second floor you can open the windows. There are air conditioners in the master and kitchen. They also had fans in each room.
- Fiona (9/5): Spacious and comfortable home, great for families. - Spacious air conditioned home with everything we needed in a lovely quiet suburb. Very easy access to buses to Grouse Mountain and downtown North Vancouver and walking distance to Capilano River Park which has great walking trials. Great deck to relax in the evenings. The owner was very helpful and responsive whenever we had questions. If you find it difficult to sleep when there is daylight, bring an eye mask as a couple of the bedrooms have thin shades.
- Avner (9/5): Amazing apartment. The host thought about every little detail and need. -
- Nathan (10/5): Great place to stay. The place was clean and well resourced. Host was friendly and responsive. - Code door
- Megan (10/5): Well equipped, well appointed with all the creature comforts of home. - Set in a leafy green family oriented neighbourhood with friendly residents and beautiful wildlife, it felt like home. The host was wonderful, easy to communicate with, prompt to respond and understanding of our needs
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - Outstanding unit. Safe and very lovely I felt the linens were tired looking and could be updated with better quality.
- Deb (6/5): Didn’t live up to our expectations - Location was convenient for our daughters wedding on grouse mountain Only Freezer didn’t work for our entire stay after the owner being notified. I had a serious knee injury from skiing in whistler that required icing every few hours and we couldn’t keep anything frozen so had to constantly buy ice. On the second last day the fridge completely died and we lost all of our food.
Our daughter wanted a bbq lunch with her friends before the wedding but the bbq didn’t have any gas - one of the reasons we hired the house was for the bbq area.
- Kelly (10/5): Exceeded our expectations in every way! - Beautiful accommodations, host thought of everything, lots of extra touches to make it feel like home. Location was fantastic. Nothing! Everything was wonderful!
- Bernie (10/5): Our house was damaged in a flood we needed a home over Christmas big enough to host family meal for ten and extra guest - Very good setup for family or two or three couples. Good parking, good location. Big well equipped kitchen, good modern appliances and large variety of cookware, knives, glasses, complete cutlery sets, etc. Lots of electronics charging points. Internet was excellent, TV and projector were perfect. Lots of towels, bedding and tissue paper. Laundry facilities were excellent. Quiet safe neighborhood. Interior stairs looked great but wood finish was a bit slippery in stocking feet, older folks use with caution.
- Jurgita (9/5): Superb - The home was spaciuos, clean, in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. Exactly what we look for traveling as a larger group with kids. Perfect location for us - right near Capilano Bridge Park, and only 15mins drive from Vancouver downtown. Hosts were great at communicating and very accomodating. We'll go back if we find ourselves planning another trip to Vancouver, CA.
- Aranyanee (10/5): Perfect house for family ... - Our group of five adults stayed here for three nights, and Gordana was an excellent host. The standard check-out time is 11:00 AM, but since my flight was at 2:00 AM the following day, she generously allowed me to stay until midnight. The property is fully equipped, especially the kitchenette, which is beautifully designed with luxury in mind. It features modern, high-end appliances, sleek countertops, and elegant cabinetry. Everything from the utensils to the glassware felt top-quality. The overall décor throughout the space exudes sophistication, with tasteful art pieces, plush furnishings, and stylish lighting, creating a warm and luxurious atmosphere. The peaceful surroundings made it the perfect retreat. No
- Sajida (1/5): Never visiting again - Location only It wasn’t very clean. By the time we arrived, the property was not ready for us because the cleaning lady mixed up her schedule!! We had to go out again and wait for the preparation process to end. The lady in charge was not responsive nor was she supportive. The linens were not optimal and on the worn side.
- Omid (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sajida (5/5): Wouldn’t consider visiting this facility again. - The location only The level of cleanliness wasn’t optimal, they didn’t provide the usual complimentary items such as toilet papers and bin liners. The soap dispensers were rusty and old. The linens weren’t impressive.
- Stephen (9/5): Superb -
- Lucy (9/5): Superb -
- Foonmei (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, spacious and good location. Nothing
- Hameed (9/5): Nice Family Vacation - Exceeded our expectations. Very clean. The full kitchen had everything we needed.
Had essentials like sugar, salt, dishwashing and laundry soap etc. We could walk in and live. Enough towels, bathrooms essentials, fans in rooms, etc. Large wardrobes for storage.
The projection TV was a big plus.
The gazebo on the deck with the barbecue (with fuel) was a very nice touch.
The photos on the site do justice to the place.
Awesome place for a large family vacation. Took time to reach downtown Vancouver due to traffic. However place is close to North Vancouver sights.
2 bedrooms were rather small. But they were for 1 person.
Unit on 1st floor. Not wheelchair accessible.
- Ian (9/5): Peaceful location, very comfortable with all you need for a pleasant stay - Great location, very comfortable and had everything we needed It was all good
- Cecilia (10/5): Exceptional - We spend a great family Christmas time. The house right among pines its absolutely beautiful. We have everything and more for a comfort stay. Our host was super kind and helpful.
