Preise des Essens sehr fair. Kostenloses Wasser, Kaffee und Tee. Service gibt es bis zum privaten Strand. Großzügiges Zimmer, große eigene Terrasse mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten. Moskitonetz am Bett. Ventilatoren über den Betten, jedoch keine Klimaanlage zur Verfügung. Da es ein Ecohotel ist, muss das Toilettenpapier in den Mülleimer geworfen werden. Außerdem gab es kein heißes Wasser, war aber bei den Außentemperaturen nicht weiter störend.Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt. Tuk Tuk fährt in wenigen Minuten nach Palomino. Ausflüge und Aktivitäten sind spontan und einfach buchbar. Der Ort ist super ungestört und mitten in der Natur. Ein schöner Ort zur Entspannung! Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen! Daisy, die Haus-gans hat uns gut unterhalten. Fenster im Zimmer leider nicht abdunkelbar, sodass im Dunkeln bei brennendem Licht das ganze Zimmer einsehbar ist. Dadurch leider fehlende Privatsphäre. WLAN war leider meist instabil. Ansonsten gibt es nichts auszusetzen!
• Dmitry (10/5): Perfect eco retreat - Perfect isolated eco-hotel in the vicinity of Palomino village on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. The place is a cozy retreat with bungalows, relax open spaces and private beach. The location itself is very beautiful. Nevertheless the hotel has everything a person needs, including private kitchen with the most friendly cooks, the food was delicious and satisfying. the staff overall was very helpful, they courteously organized my transfer to/from Santa Marta (it would be problematic to do alone because of the collapsed bridge on the road), did my laundry etc. All of this for a reasonable pricing. Good place. Not a downside actually, but one should be advised that this is an eco hotel so it doesn't have things like air condition. Not that these are needed anyway (the fans in the bungalow did the job perfectly). Also the location is quite remote, expect 2+ hours by taxi from Santa Marta (again not a downside, just a reminder).

• leigh (9/5): - Amazing setting. The staff were superb and very friendly. The breakfasts were superb. Very quiet and peaceful. Good wildlife. Bathroom was very good. You can't swim here (too dangerous) but you can walk about 1km south along the beach and a small path to the river mouth which is a great place to swim. It's a bit more expensive than normal Colombian prices e.g. beer, food.

Esperamos volver! No poder comer en la playa o tomar las bebidas allá, debiera haber servicio a la playa! Lástima que el mar siempre está muy alto y no se puede ingresar. De resto todo perfecto.

El señor José que transporta el equipaje es muy amable y Carlos del restaurante tiene una alegría estupenda, propia de su edad y es súper sociable, en todo momento hacer sentir bien al huésped. No hay opciones para quienes no comemos azúcares como gaseosas cero, endulzantes para tintos o cafés. Tampoco venden agua. Cosas adicionales para mejorar: señalización desde Palomino hasta la entrada.

• Navas (10/5): El mejor hotel de Palomino - En realidad es un gran hotel, está alejado del ruido de Palomino, es un lugar que te da mucha paz, se siente muy bien estar ahí, las habitaciones son muy lindas, dormí y descanse como nunca, tiene una playa privada linda, donde puedes estar en calma, amé las hamacas, hicimos clase de yoga y fue espectacular, la comida muy rica, en realidad todo excelente. Germán y su equipo fueron muy amable. Saliendo de Palomino para Tayrona mi mamá se enfermó y tuvimos que ir a la Clínica en Santa Marta, Germán estuvo muy pendiente de todo, me ayudó con un seguro que teníamos por el alojamiento y atendieron muy bien a mi mamá y días después me volvió a escribir para ver cómo seguía todo. Valoro mucho su preocupación y apoyo en la situación. En realidad volvería muchas veces a Uuttaakka, es un gran lugar.

• Mendivil (10/5): - Desde el primer instante en que mi esposo y yo llegamos al hotel, sentí que estábamos entrando a un pequeño paraíso. Íbamos en moto y al acercarnos al parqueadero comenzó esa sensación mágica que solo los lugares especiales transmiten. Caminamos por las hermosas tablas de madera que conducen hacia las áreas comunes, rodeados de ese paisaje natural tan propio de Palomino: la laguna, el verde vibrante, el sonido del viento… Todo parecía darnos la bienvenida con una caricia suave. Al llegar a recepción, nos recibió el señor Germán con una calidez excepcional. Su amabilidad, su manera de explicar cada espacio del hotel —la sala de juegos, los billares, las zonas de voleibol y fútbol, la playa privada, los columpios, los sofás, el deck frente al paisaje, las áreas de yoga y las cabañas— nos hizo sentir que no solo estábamos llegando a un alojamiento, sino a un lugar creado para conectar con uno mismo y con la naturaleza. La entrega de la habitación fue inmediata, algo que agradecí profundamente. Y el detalle que nos dejaron fue simplemente hermoso: un “Happy Birthday” para mi esposo, decorado con tanto cariño que me emocionó. Fue un gesto que jamás olvidaremos. La limpieza merece un capítulo aparte: es impecable. Como administradora hotelera, profesional en turismo y gerente, tengo el hábito y la pasión de revisar cada detalle, cada esquina, cada acabado. Y debo decir que aquí todo estaba perfecto: espejos que brillaban, pisos resplandecientes, sábanas frescas, ventilación excelente, luz natural que abrazaba el espacio. El housekeeping trabaja con una dedicación que se siente y se agradece. Más tarde fuimos al restaurante, donde Merly y las cocineras nos recibieron con una energía preciosa. Probamos espaguetis a la carbonara y un pollo al curry simplemente maravillosos. Los tiempos de preparación, la organización de la cocina y la sazón… todo sobresaliente. Como profesional del sector, ver un equipo de cocina tan organizado y eficiente me llenó de admiración. Sinceramente arreglar la tina, ya que el agua no llega con presión pero todo estuvo genial 🤣

• Isaac (10/5): - Lo que más me gustó fue lo impresionantemente bonito que es y la orientación hacia el descanso y paz mental en la que está orientado el hotel, a parte de la atención recibida por su personal, con un trato muy cercano pero siempre respetando la privacidad, Maria José, Yessica, Miguel.. y en la cocina Merlis, Meylis y Palmira han hecho que sea un sueño de 5 días y que tengamos ganas de volver pronto.

Además, fueron complices en nuestra cena de compromiso. (Excedieron las expectativas de las solicitudes que hicimos). También nos lavaron la ropa y fueron eficientes con este servicio. Una mención especial para el personal tan amable, resaltando la cocina de Merly, es la mejor, y nos sentimos súper atendidas. Su comida siempre fresca, llena de amor y con ingredientes de calidad. También amamos a Palomina, que es la gatica del lugar, y es demasiado amorosa. Nos vemos con la ilusión de volver.  No duden en venir a este paraíso guajiro. No tener más días.

I strongly recommend it as you have the beach for yourself and easy to coordinate day trips and excursions from there ! Please bring mosquito repellent. You are in the middle of nature and there are many bugs. Just come prepared with ‘off’ or similar.

• Schmitz (8/5): Uniek reseort in de natuur aan het strand eaar je heerlijk tot rust kan komen. - De locatie was top maar het personeel was hemels. Niets was te gek en ze waren super aardig en behulpzaam. Het ongedierte. Hier is natuurlijk ook niets aan te doen omdat het resort tussen een vochtig mangrovebos ligt. Wij zijn echter geheel lekgeprikt, dat is voor ons dan ook de reden om niet terug te komen.

• sebo5010 (6/5): - Die Anlage des Hotels ist sehr schön. Es gibt einen schönen Privatstrand. Die Zimmer können nicht abgedunkelt werden und werden sehr warm. Der Ventilator hilft da leider nur Bedingt bei den Temperaturen. Am Strand kann eher nicht geschwommen werden, da die Wellen zu stark sind (zumindest in der Jahreszeit wo wir da waren) Leider kann das Personal kein Englisch, was die Kommunikation manchmal schwierig macht.
• Jb (9/5): Mooie rustige plek aan strand met goed restaurant - Bijzondere locatie, rustig met prive strand. Door grote golven en veel stroming wordt zwemmen afgeraden. Aan mangrovebos. De familiekamer was best ruim. Mooi uitzicht richting zee. Fijn om niet in Palomino te zitten. We hebben ook mooie tour geboekt met wandeling door jungle met bezoek aan inheemse stam, kanotocht rivier. Heel bijzonder! -

• James (9/5): Extremely relaxing stay on a secluded palm-lined beach. - Wonderful secluded location well away from the main road and with its own private palm tree lined sandy beach and thatched parasols. Acces is via a short walk over a wooden walkway through the mangroves. very friendly and helpful staff and great food and drinks. The main hexagonal block of accommodation heats up in the sun and the concrete radiates heat at night making it very hot. The coffee is free but not of inspiring quality for a coffee country.

Удобная территория пляжа с лежаками, красивое море, правда в котором нельзя купаться. Отсутствие кондиционера. В первую ночь не могла заснуть. Были не очень хорошие погодные условия, собиралась гроза было очень душно и влажно. Вентиляторы не спасали. Но на следующий день погода изменилась. Было очень комфортно на улице дул лёгкий ветерок и в номере тоже вполне хватало вентилятора, отлично выспались и хорошо себя чувствовали.

Zit wel stukje van Palamino, maar daardoor wel heerlijk rustig. Ze helpen met vervoer naar Palamino (met tuktuk). Was wel pittig warm zonder airco, maar wel uiteindelijk prima geslapen onder de ventilalatoors. Gordijnen zijn veel te dun. Je hebt aan alle kanten inkijk. In andere recensies staat dat er papagaaien zijn, deze niet gezien. Wel een gans!

• Male (10/5): Looking for paradise? That’s the place - Everything. You want to see what’s paradise like? - that’s your place. It’s calm, everyone is relaxed and the staff is super nice. You will be dropped off by a tuk tuk and cross the wood bridge (5 min walk) till you end up at this quiet place. You have a private beach, a restaurant, several sitting areas and a beautiful main building. There were actually 5 guests with me and 4 staff member. Everyone is relaxed, super friendly and they have a whattsapp group. Via that groupchat you can order food/drinks and tuk tuks to palomino town and station (20kCOP). The place is like heaven and calms you down. You will sleep fine with the fan and water is compli. You wake up with the sound of the ocean. I’m sorry for the property that they have to accommodate guests who always looking for something to complain as you can read in the reviews.It’s just perfect.

• Lenin (10/5): Exceptional - This hotel in Palomino was magical. We had our own and the hotel has a private beach. As we were the only people there, we had the beach to ourselves. It was so lovely and peaceful. the staff is very friendly and the chefs as well. they cooked everything to order and it was so fresh and tasty. They also have hammocks, games and many things to do at the hotel and around the Palomino area. Would highly recommend!!

The location is unbelievable, I was alone on the wild beach the majority of my stay there. The staff are wonderful and so friendly. The food is exceptional and home cooked. I felt so relaxed and tranquil the whole time I was there. The rooms are basic but perfect and in line with the price. There are insects but it’s to be expected at such a natural setting. I saw so many birds, iguanas, frogs and much more during my stay. Highly recommend and I hope to be back one day.

They were always smiling and ready to help whenever we needed anything. A heartfelt thank you to Merlis, Meilis, Angelica, Maria José, and July! Their warmth and kindness made us feel right at home. A significant number of guests arrived for a retreat, which led to them utilizing a communal space that we were unaware would be occupied. Additionally, when the hotel is fully booked, the restaurant space can become limited. It may be beneficial to ensure better communication about such events in the future and explore ways to accommodate all guests more effectively.

• Matt (9/5): Hexagonal Heaven on the Beach - Staff were helpful, particularly in the kitchen. Food. Was. Phenomenal. Lots of variation available, from seafood to pad thai via hummus! Cozy, cute room in the beehive. We enjoyed using the hammocks and pool tables. The company for activities, recommended by Uuttaaka, was also very good. Maybe having one more cabaña on the beach - other guests seemed to hog them so we couldn't use them. Also a little bit stingy that you can only have milk in your coffee at breakfast.
• Ronja (10/5): Unforgettable stay by the ocean - The hotel is amazing. Everything was just perfect. You wake up with the sound of the ocean, just a view steps away from a beautiful beach. The rooms were more than clean and you will receive a daily room service. All of the people working there have been super friendly and helpful with whatever we needed. The food was also delicious, you have to try the ceviche. We are very grateful for the time there and we will definitely come back as soon as we can.
• Emma (9/5): Superb - This is a sliver of paradise, with the most warm, friendly and accommodating staff I've ever encountered at a hotel. The hotel seems to be fairly new, and the founders have pulled out all the stops to make it an easy and relaxing stay for guests. On a remote beach, which staff guide you through a jungle walkway to reach, you can find total peace and contentment, away from tourism and crowds. In addition, the home-cooked food is absolutely delicious. We would totally recommend for a relaxing and restorative stay. It is worth bearing in mind how remote the hotel is. This was perfect for us, as we were looking for a restful weekend without disturbance, but it might not be ideal for tourists looking to explore the Palomino area. The hotel is a 5km drive from Palomino, and is very set back from the road, through a short stretch of jungle. We felt lucky that the hotel was quite empty, and so we had a lot of space to ourselves, but again, this might not be ideal for travellers looking to experience Colombian hustle and bustle. Nevertheless, our stay was perfect, and we would heartily recommend this hotel for anyone looking to relax and unwind on their own private Caribbean beach.
• Marek (9/5): One of the best relaxing places in Colombia. - Eco-hotel in beautiful place 5km from Palomino and 40 km from Tayrona NP. 100% isolation from any form of civilisation. Silence, beautiful private beach, many possibilities of spending time (snooker, volleybol, football, etc.). Fantastic restaurant, you can order anything, not only from menu. I have got spacy room with private terrace. Very good beds. The boss is very kind and helpful, speaks English. Fantasting place for relax. This a rule in this kind of eco-hotels but sometimes you can feel lack of hot water and AC.
• Joanne (10/5): Paradise! - Pure paradise! The staff, food and location were amazing. A place to disconnect and relax. There was a large group staying during our trip, so maybe some preparations could be made so that all other guests are tended to.
• Lina (10/5): A Hidden Paradise Near Palomino - Staying at this hotel was an absolute dream. Its location is perfect—close enough to Palomino to go for dinner or shopping by tuk-tuk, yet far enough to enjoy peaceful nights surrounded by nature. The staff was impeccable, always attentive to every need. We stayed for five days and had absolutely no complaints. Their kindness and dedication made all the difference. The hotel’s private beach is a true sanctuary—no vendors, no noise, just the sound of the waves and pure tranquility. Every morning and evening, we took long walks to witness breathtaking sunrises and sunsets in this little paradise. And the food—absolutely delicious! The women in the kitchen are incredibly creative, making every meal feel like a home-cooked experience filled with love and warmth. My favorites: Ceviche de pescado and The Pargo Platero whit patacón and coconut rice. I left this place with a deep sense of nostalgia, knowing I will return. The level of well-being you experience here is truly unique. Thank you to everyone who made this stay unforgettable! Nothing to complain about

• Sara (5/5): Super nice staff apart from the administrator/owner. Delicious food. Loud rooms. Ok beach. - View, cleaning people and cooks were super nice! The administrator/owner charges every glass of water, we had to have a discussion in order to get free drinkable water. He doesn’t have enough staff in the kitchen, he needs to hire waitresses and have more space in the dinning room. You can hear everything from others room, it is not well built. It’s annoying! I wouldn’t come back!!!
