The person at the front desk was more like a security guard and did not care about providing a good experience. There were no restaurants within walking distance. Evidently a new restaurant will be opening soon but was not open at the time I stayed there. Also the hotel was advertised as having a shuttle to the airport. That was not true. And when I asked the front desk if they could order me a taxi the answer was no. They told me to call an Uber or another driver service. How hard is it to have a phone number to contact a taxi to come? But that service was not provided

• Sharon (4/5): - We had our evening flight canceled at 9pm and were able to secure a booking last minute here, but the payment/entry instructions were quite complicated. This was about 10 minutes from the Medellin airport. This listing is deceiving, as this is a building with Airbnbs and not hotel-style apartments/rooms. Once we arrived, the front desk person said we needed to communicate with the host directly to get entry information. We received a message from the host via booking.com but there were zero instructions in the message - we still responded and they followed up via Whatsapp to fill out a number of forms online to include uploads our IDs/passports in order to gain access. We also had to make payment directly to the host (the front desk person, nor booking.com accepts payments for these units). The only option was a direct wire (which typically can only be done with local bank accounts). This was a real surprise and took some time to sort before we could get access to the unit. Once we were able to get in, the unit was quite bare and the couch was far too small to serve as a place to sleep even though it was advertised as such in the listing. The bedsheets were also not clean, which I communicated to the host and received a small refund. I imagine that each unit/host experience is different since there are a few units in this building, but given the complicated booking process, I would not recommend staying here unless you have a local bank account and speak Spanish.

• Elliot (1/5): We were denied entry despite making a confirmed credit card payment. This property is not a hotel - I have been travelling internationally for over 50 years in North America, South America, Asia, Europe, Africa, and Australia. This was without doubt the WORST experience I've ever had. Booking is absolutely misrepresenting this property as an airport hotel. It isn't. It is a small number of apartments owned individually. The owner of the apartment for which we had made a confirmed credit card payment declined it and insisted the only payment he would accept was a direct deposit to his Colombian bank account.....not cash, not a credit card. And so we were denied entry. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS.

El día del checking, me contactaron para que hiciera un pago por un importe mayor al que había contratado por Booking. Tras mucho discutir que ese no era el precio, me dijo el caballero que me contactó, que era por concepto de limpieza del apartamento. Tras decirle que no estaba dispuesta a pagar por ese concepto y por un importe mayor al contratado y decirle que contactaría con atención al cliente, me canceló la reserva indicando que mi tarjeta no era válida.
• John (8/5): - El apartamento tiene el espacio adecuado y su distribucion es ideal , las instalaciones son bonitas y muy bien ubicado. El apartamento está en buen estado general, pero sería recomendable reparar algunas secciones del piso para mejorar su apariencia. También sería importante prestar más atención a la limpieza: las sábanas tenían manchas y daban la impresión de no haber sido lavadas, y había pelos en el piso.

The attendant at the front desk was warm, friendly and went out of her way to help us get a room. It isn't a hotel/motel. The name 'Suites' gives the impression to travelers that it's a hotel/motel, but it's really apartments that owners are renting out for a night. We could not reserve the room ahead of time - our card continued to be canceled. We could not pay cash on-site either and the attendant eventually made an exception for us. We were given a separate link to pay by credit card, but that link needed to wait 3-4 hours before accepting our card. Meanwhile, we couldn't wait around for that time; we were tired and had all our bags. Others from our party that came for the same occasion also had similar trouble. I've never had an instance where I've used my credit card and had to wait hours before completing the final transaction.

They contact you via WhatsApp (not through the app) requesting payment by bank transfer in advance because they don't accept cards, and if you do, they ask you to pay via PayU, charging an additional 5%! In my experience, I told them I would pay for my stay upon arrival, and that same day they canceled my reservation, leaving me without accommodation at the last minute!

• Laura (2/5): - El apartamento es muy bonito, exactamente igual a las fotos, la ubicación excelente para lo que necesitábamos y muy cerca de supermercados y del aeropuerto. La limpieza y la comodidad del apartamento estaban perfectas. El edificio y sus zonas sociales son muy buenas. Daniel, el propietario, es muy amable y muy dispuesto a resolver las dudas. Sin embargo, su proceso es un poco desordenado y confuso para el cliente. Se debe cancelar la reserva por medio de una transferencia bancaria a una cuenta local que se pide por WhatsApp y al no tener alguna conexión directa con Booking, da un poco de desconfianza. Adicional a esto, cuando hice mi pago, pregunté por qué mi habitación tenía un precio de casi el doble que el de otros amigos que reservaron con él mismo, a lo que me respondió que era porque mi habitación tenía vista a la naturaleza y tenía un costo superior pero al llegar esto no se cumplió. Mi apartamento era exactamente igual al de mis compañeros y aunque ellos también tuvieron que pagar el saldo acercándose a mi tarifa, no era cierto que mi apartamento tenía vista a la naturaleza ni alguna otra "ventaja" sobre el de ellos. Cuando yo hice mi pago, Daniel me pidió una foto de mi documento de identidad para el registro, sin embargo a mis compañeros no les hizo el mismo proceso sino que les pidió llenar unos formularios por persona. Todo esto, quizás no tuvo nada de mala intención, pues reitero la amabilidad de Daniel para responder todo. Sin embargo, es una evidencia de un proceso que es un poco desordenado y no da confianza ni genera tranquilidad para los usuarios que hasta no llegar, no quedamos tranquilos de que no era una estafa o algo similar.

• PARRA SEPULVEDA (9/5): - El apartamento cuenta con excelentes condiciones de higiene, ambientación lo cual lo convierte en un espacio acogedor. Todas las áreas cuentan con un diseño super bonito. No me siento conforme con la atención recibida en el área de recepción, debe mejorarse el trato con calidez por parte del personal femenino.

Al preguntar al anfitrion contestó hasta el dia siguiente “dejame revisar que pudo haber pasado si fue que la cambiaron” y nunca mas tuve respuesta de él. Al alojamiento le hace falta mucho mantenimiento, hay puertas deterioradas por la humedad, la puerta principal no cerraba bien, no tenía soporte para el papel higienico, la puerta de la ducha se quedaba pegada.
