Guest Reviews
- Kayla (10/5): Incredible hospitality! 100% recommended! - I was travelling with a female friend and we were just blown away with the incredible hospitality we received from Said and his brothers, Hamed and Adel. Our stay was so relaxing and despite arriving quite late, Said was so accommodating and made us a snack after a long day of travel. Elephantine island is beautiful and quiet, and the ferry is not a problem to take back to the mainland. I honestly can't say enough good things about this family, Hamed helped us organize a tour to Abu Simbel and a Nile cruise and the price we paid was significantly less than what we were expecting. He helped us make the connection to the cruise after the tour ran a little late. They are building a new hotel next to this location and I would 100% stay with them again if I were to return to Aswan. We stayed in the upstairs room and the bathroom walls don't quite reach the ceiling so if you need some "privacy", someone will have to step out of the room. This wasn't a problem for us as they have a lovely patio to hang out on!
- Maxime (8/5): Good for young people - Said was very nice, offered us multiple activities.
Nice location on Elephantine Island, right next to the Nile! The bathroom is very rudimentary.
- Arnaud (10/5): Thank you Saed! - We had a wonderful stay at Aswan Nubian House! The manager, Saed, was incredibly helpful and made our trip unforgettable. He arranged a fantastic excursion to Abu Simbel, a transfer to Luxor with stops in Kom Ombo and Edfu, and even organized a relaxing felucca ride for us.
Our room was air-conditioned and comfortable, and the guesthouse features a lovely rooftop with a view of the Nile, as well as access to a shared kitchen.
The location is ideal — just a few meters from the Elephantine Island ferry dock, making it easy to get to and from the mainland.
We truly appreciated Saed’s warm welcome, availability, and attention to detail. Highly recommended! We’ll definitely come back.
+++ for Saed and the whole experience
- Tamás (7/5): Basic accommodation with external shared shower and toilet facilities. Very weak or no Wi-Fi at all. - Sa'eed was nice and helpful.
I had breakfast on the roof terrace, where a nice view opened to Agha Khan Mausoleum, the Botanical (Kitchener) Island and the elephant-shaped rocks along the banks.
The house is on the west side of the island, while public ferry from the mainland arrives on the eastern side, from where the accommodation can be reached by a ten to fifteen minutes' walk. Location was hard to find, I asked locals who could not understand English at all. Eventually I found one who phoned him, then Sa'eed turned up and led me there.
- Cia (9/5): Superb - I got well taken care of by the hosts with everything i needed and stayed in a beautiful room on toproof with a nice coach outside where you could feel the wind, smell the nile and also have a view of it.
- Arturo (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing place. Really great food. Azus's family are very sweet and helpful.
- Mahmoud (5/5): Passable -
- Nikita (9/5): Superb - Great welcome. Saiid very relaxed and helpful. Ask him to organise an hour or two on a felucca - we did, with a lovely pilot, who was the perfect host. Very relaxed and let us have our space.
- Samantha (8/5): Great time and wonderful host - The area and view of the Nile is amazing. Said is a wonderful host who met us at the ferry dock and carried my suitcase to the house. Everything felt really authentic. My morning wake-up call was a friendly neighborhood donkey outside the window which was a fun twist! 😂 There is only one bathroom and the shower is in there too. So when you shower everything gets wet including the toilet paper.
- Igor (5/5): Passable - Nice place with view of Nile 1) Loud construction works around the house 2) Donkey which lives in next house have very loud voice and cry several times during the night 3) Garbage hips burning around the house all the day and night makes your breath difficult.
- Layth (7/5): Good - Location
Price
The owners are kind and helpful people Rooms and bathrooms need some maintenance and more caring
- Mohamed (10/5): Exceptional - Awsan nubian House was our best hotel in whole our trip in Égypte , very nice place, very quiet and Saïd the owner is super friendly and humble person.
For sur we ll come back again
- Tabea (10/5): the perfect stay in Aswan - An extraordinary place in Aswan! Located on the Elephantine island, where you can discover traditional Nubian life in the village, with a beautiful terrace and view on the Nile. The room is comfortable and clean and the service is perfect. We got served a delicious breakfast (bread, eggs, jam, cheese, juice, coffee...) every morning. Lunch and dinner is available on request. The owner can organise other tours for you as well. Our highlight was a falouka (sailing boat) ride in the sunset. I can only recommend staying here. You will spend the most relaxing time, no noise or cars around, fresh air and the most friendly people. The hosts Said and Hamed will be there for you to give you a memorable time you'll never forget!
- Dariusz (1/5): Rat 🐀 Egyptian ratatouille - If I have to be honest so nothing we liked there Absolutely joke, Mafia,1of 4 rooms has air-condition , shower and toilet omg 😱 no comment , 🐀🐀🐀 rats running around, lizard, bugs omg 😱
Was 8 of as and only 4 scrambled eggs, few rolls, some jam and feta cheese for breakfast, but pictures showing lovely breakfast, 3 rooms just electric fan, picture's are different what you get , we was feeling like we are in slam's 😔 very disappointed 😞 never again
- Aaron (10/5): Exceptional - Very peaceful location. On the other side of Elephantine Island to the dock and takes about 10-15minutes to walk from the dock. Host was very accommodating.
- Léo (8/5): Very good - The view No air conditioner
- Ebrahim (9/5): I spent a more than wonderful vacation on this site and with these people. - The location is more than wonderful for those who want to relax, calm and enjoy the beauty of nature
I thank those in charge of the administration for the warm reception and hospitality
Staying in this place is an experience that deserves to be repeated more than once
- Stacey (2/5): Not what was advertised or expected - The Aswan AuBian house was not what was advertised on the you tube it was not the village of the anubian hotel miss leading Nothing
- Luca (8/5): Very good -
- Amani (4/5): Disappointing - The location was nice and quiet, with a very nice view. Although we had requested an early check in (9:00-10:00) and we got a confirmation, we arrived at 10:00, we had to wait 2 and a half hours at the porch because the room was occupied. Had we know that, we would arrange differently. This was very tiring and a waste of our little time there. Every cover in the property was dirty. Covers of the large pillows at the porche, cover of the little table in the room. Generally speaking, cleanliness was not acceptable.
We booked the superior room with a private porche. The bathroom has no door. Only a curtain.
Besides the guest room, although the island is very nice and very calm, keep in mind that it has only dirt roads and generally speaking it is not clean.
- Naelle (9/5): The stay was pleasant - The host was really nice.
- Bruno (8/5): Very good - Emplacement
- Nora (9/5): Exceptional - Amazing Rooftop View :)
Owners are super friendly, going above and beyond to help you with everything you need. They helped us organize some trips as well. We had great conversations and organized a nice traditional meal. 100% recommend Nothing
- Ivan (8/5): Would highly recommend staying there if you’re looking for a relaxed budget friendly option. - The location is great. Very quiet and relaxing. Said and Hamid, the brothers who run it, are very nice and very helpful. .
- Mariana (10/5): Exceptional - Said was really nice and helpful. The place is very traditional but really beautiful with a great view. Really calm and peaceful place Because it is in a island you have to take the ferry every time but is really easy and not expensive.
- Lorraine (10/5): Exceptional - Very rustic...million dollar view, peaceful location such a down to earth village...like stepping back i time.
Close to museum and archaeological site.
Host was super lovely..Very hospitable
Was the perfect stay
- Jako82 (8/5): Very good - The place is lovely, on the west bank of Elefantine Island, very quiet and with a wonderful view on the Nile and Kitchener Island.
Room and bed ok, clean enough, cozy and with good storage space.
Beautiful terrace in front of the room, where we could chill and relax and where breakfast was served.
Said was smily and helpful, and his brother Hamid provided an excellent driver (thanks Hamza!) for Philae Temple and airport at what felt a correct price.
Said also organized a lovely feluca ride on the Nile at sunset for us.
Wifi working perfectly. Bathroom very small, and drain not working properly, so it would basically flood with any shower.
Room was quite dark, and the fact that one of the two lamps broke immediately after we arrived didn't help.
Breakfasts quality varied quite a lot, the first day was just cheese and bread, on the last day it was more pleasant with also eggs and excellent felafel.
One day breakfast was more than 30 minutes late. Maybe it was a miscommunication from us, but if you have a tight schedule it can become a problem.
This isn't a negative, just a warning to fellow tight schedulers: you're on an island, going anywhere requires to use the ferry, which can become a 30 minutes wait if you miss it just as it leaves. Keep a margin for everything!
If you ask for the price of - well, anything the first offer will be quite ridicolously high. We didn't bother to haggle and bargain, but in the end we always were able to find alternatives at a way better price than the one offered.
- Declan (10/5): It was such a pleasure to stay here. I felt welcomed. The property is clean and has a fantastic view of the river from t - Excellent price, so clean. Great view of the nile river.
- Lucilla (10/5): The best place we'have been in all Egypt - Fantastic host, Hamed goes all the way to help you and make you feel at home. He took care of every guest, trying to understand their needs, and giving great recommendations. The house is very traditional, and fresh inside, with an incredible panorama from the terrace. Also Honestly, nothing :)
- Julie (9/5): Superb - Very nice people, they are willing to help. The room was nice with good beds and from the rooftop you had a beautiful view over the nile. Wifi worked great abd the locatian was good and quiet
- Patrick (10/5): Exceptional - Very very lovely, nice vieuw and just the island is relaxed and nice! And Said is a very good person. Inshallah I will come back one day again, this was my second time here because it’s so nice
- Samantha (8/5): Nile island friendly guesthouse with views - Sahid and Hamed were great hosts.. friendly..made sure we had everything we needed, helped planned trips, helped with transfers. Breakfast was good, view from balcony amazing, the island is very friendly and welcoming..more people out on streets chatting etc .good sense community Sometimes there was some noise from river boats partying..but that obviously effects any properties along the Nile.
- Pavel (10/5): To be recommended to independent travellers who look for more authenticity. - Excellent approach of thé staff. No complain
- Athanasios (10/5): Peaceful island 🏝️ - The family feel the location the wonderful view of Nile
- Media (9/5): Rest, hike, schile, visit...the Nubian House is the best place to stay in Aswan! - The view of the Guest House is amazing! You can cross easily the Nile with a boat and hike the magnificent Dune you see in front of the house. You will discover a whole desert landscape behind full of old desert rocks, sand dune and a overview on all the islands and city of Aswan. It is really beautifull!! If you like walk into the desert, you will discover a very old monastery ruins lying into the desert but not far from the Nile. As well you can visit nobles' tomb, Knoum Temple or just enjoy all day long the calm and peace of the Aswan Nubian house view! Saïd, the owner of the place, was always ready to help us with anything: food, boat, visits, temples, tours, taxis... We spent 7 days in the Nubian house schiling, resting, visiting, hiking...and if we had to return somewhere in Aswan, we will return to the same place! Thank you Said to share all this moment with you and to help us with anything we need. We hope seeing you again and spend some more time in The Aswan Nubian house! 🙏🏻☀️❣️
- Naomi (8/5): Very good - We had a very pleasant stay. Said was very welcoming and helpful, and we loved the location at the westside of the island, where it's much more quiet and the view is much better. We can fully recommend this place!
- Rutger (10/5): Extremely satisfied - The hosts (and Aswan people) are extremely friendly and helpful! Aswan Nubian House is the perfect place to stay for a peaceful vacation in a beautiful environment. Special thanks to the hosts for all their help!
- David (10/5): A piece of heaven on earth - Hotel very well located with a beautiful view of the Nile, for those looking for tranquility and total emergence in the local culture, there is no better place. About the staff,I can not find words to describe so much kindness and efficiency,Hamed hotel manager, helped us in everything with the tours to the temples, boat trips, displacements in everything! with the help of their friendly and kind brother Saed, they transformed our stay into a true paradise. Mega recommend the hotel. He deserves 10 stars. I'll definitely be back. There is absolutely nothing that we didn't like, everything was very good.
- Elian (8/5): Very good - Nice and calm location
- Mohamed (5/5): Quiet place with good Nile view - Quiet location
Panoramic view Availability of transportation
- Andrepas (7/5): Nice place - It was great to be in the Elephantine island, quiet and very nice.
Views were fantastic nd host very welcoming.
Te bed was comfortable and they helped us with arranging some trips. when asked for a taxi, the price was quite expensive, use Uber instead.
- Pietro (7/5): Good stay in authentic village, awesome view - In general it was a good stay. The terrace has an awesome view and we were welcomed warmly. Said came to pick us up at 2am with his boat to bring us to the house. The breakfast is good and abundant. The connection with the west bank is very easy, a 5 egp ferry ride with people from the village. It's a good oppottunity to meet and chat with local people. The shared bathroom was not the best, but it was always clean. We found several small insects in the room, sometimes in the bed. We've looked them up and they were not harmful, but still, it's not the best situation.
- Jacqueline (10/5): Exceptional - My stay at Aswan Nubian hostel was fantastic, the owners of the place were extremely friendly and very helpful with everything, they even gave me a more expensive room for the same costs even though I haven't booked it. The place is really authentic and nice and warm. Also Elephantine Island is an amazing place were you can truly experience the hospitality of the Nubian people. 100% recommended!
- Heather (9/5): Superb - I loved the laid back vibe of the island, with no cars and extremely friendly people. Absolutely no hassle from vendors. We felt very welcome, the room was comfortable, breakfast was good. It is a shared bathroom, which we had not noticed, but great value for the price. Owner arranged boat to take us to Nubian Village which is mainly a market but very pretty.
- Naila (9/5): Best view on Elephantine island - Said guesthouse has the best view on elephantine island. Its very quiet and super beautiful, just in front of botanical garden and Aga Khan mausoleum.
In the morning you can have the breakfast on the super terrace. Said will answer all your questions very kindly.
So as to go to the corniche you just have to walk a few minutes and cross the Nile for 5 pounds.
It was the best place to enjoy Assouan beauty. Perfect week at the guesthouse
- Clinton (9/5): Perfect place to relax , with an amazing view . Nice hosts - The location was perfect for what I needed & that was to relax & unwind nothing really
- Monique (10/5): Peaceful guesthouse - Location : Beautiful house and the view on the rooftop was so incredible, we didn't want to leave. Peaceful place away from the city noise.
Room: Nice room with a comfortable bed. The bathroom is small but not an issue for us.
Service: Sahid is a very nice, helpful and friendly man.
Food: Delicious! We had bread, cheese, fig jam, tea, eggs, falafels and a dish made with beans for breakfast and chicken tajine for dinner (we recommend it).
- Sairah (10/5): Beautiful place - Homely place, very nice staff, didn't try sell us stuff, gave very useful suggestions. When we arrived Said organised us lunch as we had travelled up from Cairo. All in all a great stay
- Jane (9/5): super relaxing stay in Aswan - fabulous location and wonderful views of the Nile from the upstairs terrace. Said looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed.
- Vladiq (7/5): Good - Breathtaking view from the terrace, clean and comfortable beds, lovely owners, good breakfast served Room without window, dirty kitchen, this place needs some more care
- Clare (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dirk (8/5): Very good - I took the upper room, which had its own terrace with Nile and desert view. I enjoyed a lot watching the boats on the Nile while having breakfast or a tea on the terrace and the rural atmosphere (the guesthouse is surrounded by rural, small farmers houses). The guesthouse is simple and authentic, a five-minutes walk away from the ferry. The brothers who are running the guesthouse are always very helpful.
- Jonas (9/5): Picturesque Nubian house with a view to die for. - The view is magnificent, the owner is super nice and easy to deal with, food that you order is local food cooked nearby. The location on Elephantine Island is perfect - you are in an old Nubian village with farmlands, so it feels very rural but just 5 minutes walk away is a ferry over to central Aswan. Also, the WIFI outdid anything we had gotten in central Luxor. Will come back! Bathroom is a little small, the shower head is basically over the toilet. Times are Egyptian - if you order food for 6 p.m. it can arrive anytime between 5:30 and 8 (but to some that is part of the charm).
- Sarah (10/5): Amazing guest house - The guest house was amazing!
The host was extremely friendly and really wanted to help, and was so down to earth.
The location was exceptional, it was on the elephantine island just next to the Nile with an amazing view over it from the roof of guest house.
Also the stile in building it selv was very nice looking, and really made you feel like home! Nothing, every thing was very nice
- Patrick (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice person, nice place, nice house, nice time :)
- Jennifer (10/5): A lovely stay in a peaceful location with friendly people. The view from the patio was amazing. - We really loved it because it was very quiet and relaxing with a beautiful view looking across the Nile from a spacious patio towards the West Bank. Said was very friendly and helpful and took care to make our stay special-even remembering to make my husband’s breakfast omelette spicier than mine. Elephantine island felt safe and people were very friendly. Wi-Fi at this location was great too! Would highly recommend. Nothing
- Nikolai (9/5): Peaceful - Incredible view on the Nile. Very peaceful place that's why we stayed two nights longer. And Said is a very good person.
- Nermin (10/5): Amazing - the place is so peaceful and quiet and the view is amazing. the stuff saied and hamid were so helpful in everything . we enjoyed our stay there.
- Mara (9/5): Superb -
- Luca (7/5): Good - location......10 points out of 10 !! amazing and beautiful, quiet on the west of island, in front of Nile and desert...simply amazing !
the total experience is GOOD between this 10 from location and 4/5 of the other things for 30 euro per night we would have expected a bit more.... breakfast was very very poor, the first days we had Just one omelette and next days i had to ask for two omelettes, no vegetable and no falafel and no fruits, bred in a plastic bag....the rooms, the beds and the carpets were dirty, and the bathroom was dirty and not decent
- Laurent (1/5): Bad -
- Michael (9/5): Unique stay on Elphantine Island - -Beautiful view from the rooftop overlooking the Nile River on the quiet side of Elphantine Island (much more peaceful than staying in Aswan)
-spacious room
-accommodating host and owner (My luggage was lost in Cairo, and the owner arranged for it to be picked up from the airport, for a fee. I appreciated this because my plans and excursions for the days I spent there were uninterrupted by the huge convenience of having to retrieve my bag.)
-Hamed, the owner, also arranged pick up from the airport to the island as well as a day trip for my husband and I to go to Abu Simbel.
-basic breakfast included
-multiple tasty restaurants on the island make dinner easy- do not have to go across The Nile.
- Florian (9/5): Superb - The location is perfect on Elephantine island, facing the Nile. The place is clean, with a beautiful rooftop. The hosts are really nice and helpful.
- Jonetya (7/5): Good -
- Tanian13 (9/5): Great value for money, and a beautiful view from the rooftop - Saeed and Hamad were very friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home. The accommodation is basic, but clean and comfortable. There is a great view from the rooftop. The wifi is fast. It is located on the far side of the island (from the ferry) and is a bit difficult to find, but you can ask one of the staff to meet you the first time you arrive.
- Marriet (10/5): Excellent stay! - Excellent stay! We felt super spoiled being served our breakfast on our private terrace (which is on the other side of the roof of the shared terrace) and Said and Hamed (2 out of the 3 brothers who run the guest house) took care of our every need. The location is great, and staying on Elephantine Island is very much recommended. It's much more laid back and chill than the city, and you will have great views from the guest house.
- Stelian.91 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Éric (8/5): Very good -
- Éric (8/5): Very good - one of the quietest place in Aswan, on the west side of Elephantine Island, with nice voew from the terrasse.
Saïd is very quiet too, very fireendly and flexible, and accept to arrange breakfast at any time.
A good breakfast by the way, with some cheese. Saïd can organize tour or extend your stay but has no decision power: one brother un Cairo is managing the booking (the property number) and a 2nd brother in Aswan is managing the tours. Saïd can give you the numbers so you can negotiate with the related brothers on WhatsApp. ok but a bit annoying and confusing.
be careful while booking: room with patio are downstairs: 3 rooms are sharing a small and basic bathroom, while 1 room upstairs on the terrasse has his own bathroom and enjoy the view.
- Shrestha (9/5): Superb - Beautiful location, helpful supportive staff, great hospitality, good food Bathroom could be better
- Rijad (10/5): Exceptional - The rooms were clean and comfy, there is amazing look on the Nile river from the terrace. Breakfast was really tasty and the host Said was so kind and helpful, he even helped us arrange the tours from the island. I would recommend this place for the real Nubian house experience. 10/10
- Slu (7/5): if you want a comfortable experience and I will recommend you go to five-star hotel in the city. if you want to explore - the view outside is great. the host is sincere and helpful. the Wi-Fi is fast. the balcony is lovely. the house is on the island and you should take ferry to go there. the island is a bit old and there is no car, bike…
- Dhruva (4/5): Great staff but facilities, location and cleanliness not up to scratch. - Staff were great and very attentive. Got rashes because the room was so dirty :(. Wifi wasn’t stable so I couldn’t do any work.
- Luis (10/5): Thanks for all Guys. - It is very nice, Said is a good person and he help us with all, the food is very good, the antention and his service. I recommended this as the best house in aswan. Said and his brother help us to find tours with good prices, equal, you have to negotiate, the room is clean, the house es beautiful, all was fine.
Thanks for all guys.
- Vincent (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (8/5): An authentic stay on Elephantine island with the best view from the terrasse on the Nile and Aga Khan mausoleum - Amazing view from the terrasse, I would especially recommend the room up top with its own terrasse and bathroom. Authentic experience on this beautiful island Some surroundings around the hotel (trash piles, not linked to the hotel though)
- Ines (9/5): A nice experience - This is the perfect place, if you look for a more local experience and far from the traditional and tourists places.
Dont expect luxury, but this is also part of the experience! N/A
- Sergio (9/5): Superb -
- Toon (10/5): Exceptional stay and view with heartwarming people - The staff is amazing, it felt like visiting family. The view is second to none and stunning for the price. The breakfast was simple but nice. The room gets a bit hot during the night and the pillow could be a little softer.
- Sergio (8/5): Very good -
- Christiane (8/5): great as an experience , - i liked how local it felt , it was like living in nubia , in liked the service our room was very hot,
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linda (9/5): Superb - Absolutely stunning guesthouse and location. The terrace overlooking the Nile is gorgeous. Saed and Ahmed were super nice and friendly, helped us with everything we needed and truly go above and beyond for their guests. Wish I could have stayed more! make sure to ask for a room with A/C as ours didn't have it and it was very hot at night.
- Ahmed (10/5): Exceptional -
- Niebuhr (10/5): an amazing place to stay. wonderful staff. clean and comfortable. quiet, peaceful with the best sunset in Aswan. - This is a wonderful place. for the location and price I think it’s the hidden gem of accommodation in Aswan. The location is fantastic, it’s super quiet and peaceful but only a quick 5 pound boat ride across the river to the city.
The room was super comfortable, great working AC, Wi-Fi, nice bathroom
and comfortable bed. But the best part is the view. sunset here is amazing.
The staff and owner are so helpful and friendly. Sa’id is such a nice guy and fun to chat with. He arranged breakfast and dinners for me my whole stay. Nothing is better than an amazing Egyptian dinner watching the sunset from the rooftop here.
everything about my stay here as great. I can’t wait to return.
for the price this is such a great place to stay.
highly recommended!
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect !
Before our trip, King was really nice and helpful through messages and whatapps. In the house, his brother Said was really great too, very nice. We had a wonderful time, they helped us booking our trip to Abu Simbel and our taxi to the airport but also we the laundry.
We will definitely come back ! It's not a hotel, it's a true Nubian house and you feel home more than in a hotel. The view from the rooftop was just wonderful, watching the sunset from there was my favorite thing.
- Théophane (10/5): Peaceful and lovely - We were very seduced by Said's warm welcome. The house is located on the western part of Elephantine Island, it is very easy to reach by taking the ferry (5EGP) and crossing the width of the island. We were 20 minutes away from the center of Aswan. Said gave us lots of good advice and prepared a Nubian village excursion for us. The accommodation is lovely and peaceful. The view over the Nile is exceptional. Excellent value for money. We witnessed beautiful sunsets. The room is clean and very pleasant. A superb Nubian parenthesis and a guaranteed change of scenery surrounded by nature on the banks of the African river. I highly recommend to anyone wishing to discover Aswan and its surroundings. NA
- Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional - The house is very beautiful and the view from the roof where we had breakfast was worth it!
The breakfast was good
The brother of the owner was very helpful!
The room was clean
Location is great if you want to be away from the noise; very peaceful island! It's great to see something different than just city
- Meredith (10/5): Exceptional - I thought the breakfast was fanstastic. I don't eat eggs much anymore (but I didn't tell anyone that). Sayeed did a great job of providing me with eggs, bread and cow cheese and water. There were times when he asked if I wanted more and I didn't. Everything was fantastic at the Aswan Nubian House. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to stay there and I will definitely return when I visit Aswan again.
I appreciated that a transfer was arranged to and from the airport. That put my mind at ease since it was my first time being in Aswan. Ahmed 1 and Ahmed 2 were great drivers and were very kind. Hamad arranged a boat to take me to Nubian Village. He was also my guide and the village was wonderful to visit. Sayeed and Hamad managed to get me a watermelon and THAT WAS AMAZING.
I can't say enough goo things about this place. Aswan has my heart and it was because of the hospitality of everyone that helped me. I am forever grateful.
Stay at this place. You will not be disappointed. If you have an issue, speak up. But I didn't have any issues. Just love and gratitude. Nothing. I don't have any issues with my accomodations or transportation there. Sayeed, Hamad and King Adel were amazing. It is a rustic place to stay. If you want hotel amenities then stay at a hotel. If you want to stay in a place that this community orientated and away from the hustle and bustle of the city, then stay here. You will not be disappointed.
