• Elise (9/5): - Location was great The view was nice, however partially blocked by a building. Kitchen was well stocked with tea/coffee, milk and utensils. Beds were very comfortable! We had to clean the glass panels on the balcony in order to sit at the table and see the view. We couldn't find a ironing board, even though there was an iron.

• Isabel (7/5): Lovely spot, good unit, just need to iron out your checkin processes - Good location and great views Checkin process was a nightmare. Checking in after 3pm (instead of industry standard 2pm) is a bit rich, plus we were delayed when the lady didn’t come at the arranged time. We filled in all the paperwork well ahead of time but she clearly hadn’t read it and asked all the same questions again. Just get a lockbox! The glass balustrades on the balcony needed cleaning, made it hard to enjoy the views

The sound of the waves was great sleep therapy. Clean. Plenty of kitchen utensils and appliances. Clear instructions from the owner. I'd happily stay there again. Nothing.
• Richard (5/5): Convenient location but too many irritants - DIY breakfast but good location for convenience store and restaurants. No bathrobes (which you'd expect for this rate), no milk jug and milk provided was in a silly 'popper' designed to be drunk through the straw so squirted all over when you tried to pour it, no scissors among utensils. Couldn't find dishwasher and no dish drying rack worth the name.

Towels while very nice looking are nearing their End of Life. More Coffee pods could have been made available

• Maarten (10/5): A wonderful stay - The location is amazing. You can see the surfers from the bed in the bedroom and from the balcony of course. Nothing to not like, if you don’t mind carrying the luggage up a few steps to get to the lift from where you park the car (for free)

• Elizabeth (9/5): An enjoyable couple of days close to the beach and amenities. - Location was really good and views were amazing. We could see the whales breaching and dolphins playing with the surfers. A little small and no TV in the bedroom. Also there is a septic smell in the bathroom.

• Judith (10/5): A relaxing and uplifting stay in a modern oceanfront apartment - The apartment was very clean and elegantly furnished. The located opposite the beach and close to the harbour and lots of cafes was great. The sea view was inspiring. It is worth getting up at dawn to view the sky just before sunrise! The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and shared their local knowledge- lunch at the Autumn Rooms was a real treat! The small extras like the coffee machine and Avanti latte glasses were appreciated. The layout and signage of the Arena building was unusual and initially we found the street entry and basement carpark a bit challenging. But once we’d navigated our way around, it was fine.

Very minor things.... a lamp in the living area so that we didn't need the overhead lights on, another couch/chair so that I wasn't sitting right on top of my partner. An extra towel or 2 in the bathroom but overall, nothing to complain about.

Would be happy to stay there again. Bath towels on small size. Instructions for air con and dishwasher in info folder would be really helpful.

Communication prior to my visit was courteous and helpful by providing me with what I needed to know. I received a call when en route to The Swell to confirm when I would be arriving, and I was met by representative Alissa, who was delightful. She ensured I knew where to park and escorted me to the apartment to facilitate a smooth check-in. Outstanding customer service. The apartment had everything I needed and was extremely comfortable and easy to access. I'll be back again! Nothing at all was needed that could have possibly made my stay better. Thank you.
