• Nagle (8/5): The location is just so wonderful and we were able to enjoy the view sitting outside. Slightly more attention to detail - The exceptional views and ambience as you walked in. The bed is very comfortable and there is a smart TV. The shower had mould in it on the lower tiles and around the bottom of the glass. The fridge, which is small was totally frosted up.

• Tim (10/5): The most beautiful and comfy place to stay for a weekend getaway- highly recommend! - Beautifully designed, plus the included breakfast, bathrobes, streaming services and fireplace were great additions too. We loved our stay. A few minor things to flag just in case you are not aware: the shower doesn't drain very well and might be clogged. The gravel outside near the BBQ is harsh on the feet and some stepping tiles would be a great upgrade. And some more instructions around how to turn on the BBQ and where the kettle and toaster are kept would be great (we only found these hidden away at the very end of our trip!)

• Susan (9/5): We liked it a lot. It was very comfortable very peaceful. I had booked to come back in August where we could take advant - Erin has a beautiful eye for design. The elevated position provided beautiful view views across the valley. Being in real estate myself using the word kitchenette can be misleading and although we found a workaround which was okay just providing a microwave and very very small fridge which was not fully functional due to being frosted over internally does not constitute a kitchenette.

• Fiona (8/5): Lovely peaceful spot for an easy getaway. - Beautifully situated and peaceful. Decorated to high standard and good shower facilities, comfortable couch and high quality television. Beautiful bread and muesli provided with compliments. We were provided eggs, but was I unsure how we were supposed to cook them without a saucepan or stove? The pillows were poor quality however and I hurt my neck in the night sleeping on them and my husband ended up using a cushion from the couch. I would have thought if paying $300+ a night the pillows would be better quality. Also, suggest making bed up with a top sheet as well as a doona so there are options if one gets hot in the night. There was only a doona.

• Zoe (7/5): A little disappointed for the price. - Overall facilities were great and location excellent. Felt that for the money the details could have been sharper. E.g I had no towels in my room. Plants in the room were all dying. Outside patio area was a bit unloved e.g plants dying, weeds, cobwebs, needed sweeping. The whole place was beautiful but didn’t feel really clean. Pillow smelt like wasn’t clean.

• Gopal (10/5): Serene peaceful Gateway - Location is great.. especially the mountain view..and Erin and team thought of every little things..and that's all matters.. especially ensuring enough bath soap..extra toilet paper.. plenty breakfast things.. plenty dunas..thank you Erin...if you want a serene peaceful private l gateway close to Brisbane..this is the place for you... There is nothing not to like about this property

• Janine (4/5): Pretty but impractical - Beautifully styled, spacious with comfortable seating, aircon and access to wifi Cabinet made accessing the fridge and microwave difficult. Missing basic amenities like sugar. No access to a sink to wash dishes, and breakfast was sparce considering it was included. One egg each with no facilities to prepare breakfast except a covered BBQ outside. Limited privacy with adjoining cabin - it you step off the patio you look right into the other cabin, and the sound carries right through. Overpriced for what it is.
• Barry (9/5): stunning scenery, relaxing tastefully decorated studio. Will return. - The studio was perfect. Very tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable and large. Fire pit outside overlooking the surrounding farmland and mountains was stunning. We were lucky that the neighbouring cabin was empty if people were staying there we would have lost quite a bit of privacy. Also, there wasn't really any kitchen (bbq outside and sink in the bathrrom) which was fine for us but luckily we weren't planning on doing lots of cooking.

They had absolutely everything we needed and more. The breakfast was delicious and so easy! Highly highly recommend!!

• Kate (8/5): Lovely weekend getaway from the city, country break to refresh and relax - Breakfast was a lovely touch, the beds were SO comfortable. Beautiful view, and charming atmosphere. Indoor fireplace was lush, having netflix was a great touch and the wifi was good and reliable. Chopped firewoord for the outdoor fire would be a very nice extra touch - but not necessary. We also had a mouse come in from the fields, which while difficult to help, would have appreciated some warning that this is a common occurrence and to stuff blankets under the doors and pack the food away into the microwaves etc as the mouse was trying to get into the granola left. Do think the owners should probably find a solution to this. Also could definitely do with a big sign out the front - I drove past it twice haha

It was also in a super convenient to go for walks in the Binna Burra section of Lamington National Park and to attend a wedding at Rosewood Estate.

I only stayed for one night but would have loved an extra night or two here. It truly is a beautiful place to turn off the noise, relax and unwind! Highly recommend.
• Narissa (10/5): Amazing getaway - 10/10 one of the best places we've stayed in Gold Coast. The view is amazing and the fireplace added to the coziness of the space. The bed duvet and pillows were really comfortable! The host was quick to respond. These are super nitpicky things, we 100% enjoyed our stay. They provided items to make breakfast but our avocado wasn't ripe, so we couldn't use it. It was a bit hard to fill our water bottles in the water given the height of the tap in the sink in the bathroom, I would recommend providing a couple of water bottles for the guests.

• Angela (3/5): Not worth it ! DIRTY !! - The property was well decorated It wasn’t clean ! It was full of dust. There was hair in the bed and I mean multiple hairs. The towels felt stale, there was no area to cook anything on besides the BBQ outside. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything that the people are doing next door ! Not a comfortable stay, not clean and it worth the money. The plants were all dead too !

The bed was so comfortable, with lots of pillows & blankets, they were needed even in summer. The bathroom was lovely & and the cutest bath tub - I wish I'd had time to take advantage. I really liked the soft lighting in the bathroom for nighttime - not too bright to wake you up but able to locate facilities overnight. Kitchen facilities & food for breakfast provided by host well appreciated and so yummy. We needed a couple more places to hang clothing only because we were attending a wedding.

We appreciated the attention to detail - luxury toiletries, candles, picnic rug, complimentary breakfast & wine. Only thing I felt missing was the drinking water situation, I boiled the jug and let cool as I didn’t know if it was safe to drink from bathroom tap .
