Guest Reviews
- Russell (7/5): Good -
- Tahlia (5/5): Passable - We absolutely loved the property as it provided a very relaxing and tranquil atmosphere. We loved the dam and watching the sunset as recommended. The house was gorgeous and we loved the decor. Your communication was fantastic and we thank you for fixing the internet problem for us. We TOTALLY understand that this is a barn so you have to expect bugs however, when we looked around the house, there seemed to be old cobwebs that had a collection of flies and spiders and dead cockroaches. This indicated to us that it had not received a deep clean. The kitchen facilities were very old and we were unable to use them, therefore, it made dinner tricky as we felt we could only use the microwave. The sponges were old and the mugs had an old milk smell. The cupboards were dirty which wasn't a big deal but did require us to sterilise the cutlery. The toilet brush was unusable as we tried to maintain clean facilities for you but I wish I didn't pick it up (in the nicest way possible). We just felt it needed a deep clean for the amount we paid. However, it did provide a great story!
- Susan (6/5): Pleasant - Quiet location, nice views. Different being a barn conversion Lack of privacy when two couples sharing the accommodation. Combustion toilet could do with improvement. Steps to the outdoor toilet could trip up if not careful
- Anonymous (7/5): The area and vibe were great. I very relaxing weekend away where you could soak up all the nature sounds and sit by the - The serenity and the cute decor and overall vibe of the barn. All the animals around and the fireplace to really feel like you’re in the country and time has stopped. The toilet being already quite full when we arrived (not plumbed), the large barn door lock at top being broken. Outside is very pretty but would definitely be even better if it was mowed around the barn areas, especially coming to hotter weather to spot snakes etc.
would also love to recommend changing the adult size cubby (currently being used as just storage) into a cute little extra room with a bed or little outdoor bar area with stools at front and bar area inside.
