• Jason (4/5): Nice location, but cleanliness and preparation were disappointing - Good location and a nice layout, The host replied quickly. The bungalow wasn’t clean on arrival and we had to do extra cleaning ourselves despite the cleaning fee. We also encountered several large cockroaches and the towels didn’t seem freshly washed. The hot tub was empty even though a spa tax was charged. The issues needed more attention. We ended up leaving early and finding a much better-prepared place nearby.

• Damian (10/5): Had a very quiet three weeks here. Very peaceful even though central to the Yumbo and surrounding restaurants etc. would - Loved the enclosed completely private garden
• Anibal (5/5): Bungalow very nice cleaning facilities need improvement - keys were not available until 16.00 no facilities to wash clothes on the premises as stated in description.. nothing available to clean sweep or mop floors we did not like leaving the premises dirty towels were not put out we had ask where they were kept wifi hit and miss if it worked
• Clayton (8/5): Amazing property set in a peaceful area of the resort but only five mins walk to the resort. Would definitely book this - Lovely large bungalow with a beautiful garden. Well equipped and the complex well laid out with attractive pool areas. Nothing to do with the property or owner of the bungalow but the man working on reception is quite rude and unhelpful when asking for assistance.
• Stephen (8/5): Great location, excellent host! - Excellent location. The host, Markus, was very easy to contact and deal with. Check in was very easy, Mery met us with the keys. Markus arrived the day we were leaving as he was carrying out improvements to the property and has great plans for the future. Highly recommend staying here!
• David (4/5): Awful sewage smell, poor cleaning and other issues - The bungalow is in a good location and there is a good cafe within the complex. Communication with the owner was also good despite many issues. There is a good quality TV in the living room, including a couple of English speaking channels (mostly German), you can connect your own Netflix and Disney accounts if you have them, they are not included with the package. The local management is poor. The manager didn't read any WhatsApp messages sent to them so all communications had to be attended to by the owner, Markus, who is remotely based at his home in Germany. Markus was however quick to respond to our messages and he arranged for his manager to let us into the bungalow when they didn't turn up for our arrival. Although the manager only kept us waiting outside the complex for a relatively short time and was lovely to meet, it was apparent that she only spoke spanish and we similarly only speak english. She therefore merely led us through a couple of gates, handed over the keys then left us to find our way into the bungalow. On entry we were upset to find that the property was dirty throughout, especially the floors but also walls and lower level areas. Most worryingly, it also smelled strongly of sewage that appeared to be coming from the bathroom but which filled the entire bungalow even with the door closed. We tried to contact the manager immediately about this but again there was no response. In light of everything we thought that it might be possible to rectify the situation ourselves so we spent several hours cleaning the property whilst attempting to air it by opening all doors and windows to remove the smell. Despite our efforts to mask and eliminate the odour it quickly returned as soon as we closed the doors again, by which time we had nowhere to go so had to suffer it with only a few windows open overnight. By the morning the sewage smell was again overpowering and we decided to contact Markus to cancel our remaining stay. Markus was very understanding. He did his best to explain that he had tried to resolve issues there previously. He said that the sewage problem was intermittent, sometimes the smell went away, sometimes it didnt, so was difficult to know how to fix. He also said that his manager should have both ensured that the place had been properly cleaned.
• Christopher (7/5): Nice location just needs some extra care - The location is great if heading to any dining or bars. The place overall is good, it has most everything needed. The host is easy to communicate with. The lack of privacy in the garden wasn't nice due to unfinished fencing, anyone walking by can see everything,the pillows were a bit old/stained (need replacing, could use a bit better cleaning also, an extra set of towels would be nice, the shower needs better glass or a curtain, when showering the water pours out, an entire empty room not being used or with furniture, just an old couch, a shame because the space is nice. The neighbors are quite loud, the kitchen window opens onto their terrace so you can hear everything.. these are just my recommendations.. overall the place is fine just needs a few tweaks to make it better
