Paul (10/5): Comfortable, relaxing good company. great for single traveller easy to interact if you want to. - Breakfast choices basic American/ Asian .All Fresh Tasty and hot. 24 hr free tea and coffee available. Location : 4 min walk to shops / cafes 10 min walk to beachside restaurants. friendly communal atmosphere at meals and around pool. I would have liked a larger room with a bit more surface space to spread out ... BUT the Villa only has so many rooms which are often booked well in advance and given the price this is in no way a complaint. Will be back!
Ralf Thomas (10/5): Imm wieder gerne. - Das Frühstück wurde nach den persönlichen Wünschen frisch zubereitet. Der Garten und der Pool sind sehr gepflegt. Es gibt ausreichend Liegestühle und weitere Sitzgelegenheiten. Im gesamten Hotel herrscht eine sehr lockere und angenehme Atmophäre. Habe nichts auszusetzen.

It's quiet and not too far from the beach. The room is actually quite small, there's not enough space to unpack your luggage.

Volkan (10/5): Nice stay - Very lovely villa for men and a very lovely, helpful crew. Nice breakfast. Only 5 minutes by walk to the beach. Unfortunately that week it was not busy. Most of the time i was the only guest but then i had the villa only for me. Nothing to complain about. If i go back to Bali, I'll certainly stop by at this hotel.
Tze (10/5): Nice staff, good location, comfortable stay. - Very nice staff. Fresh breakfast every morning. Clean pool. Walking distance to restaurants and shops and the beach. Rides to and from the airport. The owner was very accommodating and provides tips and guidance on attractions to visit. They also provide tours if requested. We went on 6 different tours with them and had a blast. This is nitpicking: Mosquitoes. There weren't really that many since they do have mosquito zappers on the property. Some of these mosquitoes, however, were not fooled by the zappers. But it was not that much of a problem. The fan in our room was not working, but they fixed it very quickly.

Christopher (4/5): A senior retreat managed by drama - The property: a pleasant b&b for seniors. Mostly repeated guests. A perfect little place for older men to stay cozy together and talk a lot all day. The location: in a quiet street of Kerobokan Kelod, not far from Seminiyak and the beach. The standard room, despite small, is pleasant. The breakfast is good and the pool is beautiful. Apart from the management, the staff is kind and nice. The deluxe room only gets natural light if the only glass door (there’s no window) is kept wide open to the public and staff passing by, entering or leaving the villa (fixed curtains), thus no privacy (unless you are locked inside with no light). The host: unprofessional and rude, when asked to accommodate any polite request or receiving feedback. To shorten an 8-day stay by one night was an unnecessary misunderstanding, and a remark about the deluxe room (description above) led to an attack. Responses: it can take some time for the owner to answer, due to some remote trip. Staff: very nice except for the in-charge guy at site, quite arrogant when asked anything (me: “hi, sorry to bother, do you know how I could get the keys for my new room?”.. Manager: “I don’t have to work all the time, go ask someone else”. Seriously?! I travel a lot for work and leisure and mostly have very nice stays, with a hundred Airbnb positive host reviews (I am surely not a trouble guest). This was a disappointing experience, mainly due to the bad management. I ended up not staying at Layang Bulan and took a new accommodation (at my expense). Bali has many wonderful other places for the same price or less.
