Daniel (10/5): Great visit. We’ll be back! - Location for my our reason for visit. Lots of food options within walking distance. Public transit. Charming queen street east. In the basement unit, the streetcars can be heard rumbling by so earplugs for sleep may have helped. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Escaleras estrechas y empinadas, horribles para subir maletas. El baño y la cocina estaban bastante viejos/sucios. El mueble de baño estaba a punto de caerse de la pared y el lavabo muy viejo, con grietas, para se quede ahí metida toda la suciedad. A la cocina le hacía falta una buena limpieza y/o renovación. El sofá con manchas.

Susan (7/5): - It was great value for our money. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Could use a lamp in the living room. We needed to stay in the Beach area and this was 14 minutes away, at a reasonable price for Toronto. Our apartment was up two flights of stairs, which was fine for us but could pose a problem for others. Bed was comfortable, but pillows were hard,. However I am a pillow snob!

Meghan (10/5): Amazing ! - We checked in early without hesitation. Everything exceeded our expectation's. The lay out and “architecture” was a bonus. At the end of the night we were able to curl up and enjoy Netflix provided by Lum which was a great asset most places don’t include. I highly recommend this establishment to my friends and family and will 100% book again. I booked last minute (the night before) and got the best deal for the perfect location. Upon online booking Lum sent me private confirmation right away, easing all my booking stresses. Thank you so much ! Look forward to my next stay with you @ Lum The Queen 😀

noemie (1/5): Would not recommend - The location was good My stay was terrible at suites #6! The place didn’t look like the picture. I was in a basement with mold in the bathroom, unclean towels, and hair on the shower wall. There was only a tiny window that didn’t show the sun. I asked to change apartments, hoping it was just this one, but the host said I’d have to pay the full amount again and wont be the difference reimbursed my current place. I ended up staying only two nights out of three, leaving earlier than planned. I was there for a film convention in Toronto. I highly would NOT recommend this place.

Hätte mir mehr Entgegenkommen des Personales gewünscht zwecks Verkürzung des Aufenthaltes, da unser Flug auf Grund des Streiks von Air Canada gecancelt wurde. Schlechte Kommunikation, häufig über KI. Preis/Leistung nicht erfüllt.
Aarti (1/5): Verschrikkelijk!! We zijn opgelicht!! - Niets, de accomodatie is een ondergrondse “appartement” en geen vier sterren hotel zoals ze adverteren. De locatie, smalle trap naar beneden (amper te doen met de koffers), veel stof en schimmel in badkamer en kamers, lichtpunten die het niet doen etc.

Michał-T (1/5): Don't book this "suite", it's a windowless cellar, the pictures don't match the place - The tram is nearby and there ist free parking if its not filled by some other car. Nevethink booking.rtheless, this place is just pure fraud. Don't think booking.com will assist you. They never answered my messages. This "suite" is basically a windowless cellar. I think that sums it up. There is no ventilation, no air conditioning, the only so called window is completely dirty in a garbage filled chute. If you think about getting some fresh air on "the patio", think again, unless you like the fumes from the nearby butcher's which has its ventilation exhaust couple meters away from your chair. This place was so bad, unless you like underground holes with moldy bathrooms. Don't book it.
Verified traveler (6/5): Not for people with high standards for cleanliness - Great location and owner took care to check on our arrival. But if cleanliness is important to you, I would not recommend it. We stayed in the basement apartment which is accessed directly off the alley. The unit needed to be properly cleaned. Surfaces were dusty. Cabinet doors and drawers were dirty. The bathroom had grime and mold. The tub did not drain well, so a shower was also a simultaneous bath. Opening the entry door was an invitation to all the flies from the adjacent restaurant dumpsters. We killed at least a dozen flies the first night and several more the next day. The kitchen faucet was barely attached and required both hands to operate. Most of these issues could be easily remedied with a little effort. And If the cleaning standards were raised, I would stay here again because the neighborhood really is great. But I would never stay there again in those conditions.

La chambre est dans un sous-sol pas de fenêtres, pas d'aération, pas d'air climatisé et très humide. La qualité de l'air est mauvaise. Deuxièmement, il y avait la présence importantes de moisissures et de champignons. Nos enfants ont été malades et on fait des crises d'asthme. La chambre était sale et craceuse. Il n'avait Dès notre arrivée, nous avons communiqué avec l'établissement pour lui lui faire part notamment de ces éléments. Nous avons transmis des photos à l'établissement. Il n'a fait preuve d'aucune empathie. Il ̂ a mis sa sur la faute de Booking.com. Il a exigé 100$ pour un ménage supplémentaire. Il n'a trouvé aucune autre solution. Nous avons dû quitter cette chambre insalubre. Nous avons demandé le soutien de Booking.com pour nous trouver une autre chambre, mais nous n'avons eu aucun support. Nous n'avons reçu aucun remboursement de l'établissement ou de Booking.com. Nous avons réussi à ce trouver un hôtel en périphérie de Toronto. Nous avons perdu des milliers de dollars et le voyage nous a coûté 5000 $ de plus. Nous avons perdu des journées et nos enfants ont fait des crises d'asthme. Nos vacances de famille ont été gâchée. Je ne recommande pas cette établissement en raison de la chambre et du service exécrable. Le seul point positif est l'emplacement.

Simon (4/5): - I expected better furnishings for this property. When we first entered, the unit was very hot and stuffy. It would have been nice if the A/C was turned on prior to check-in . It took several hours to get the place down a comfortable temp. A few other notes: 1. The sofa bed is too small for 2 adults. No extra pillows as well. 2. Not enough shelving or storage for clothes and other items. 3. Cheap table and plastic chairs I'm sorry but for the price I had expected a better furnished place. We ended up going to a different place after the first night. For the price , I did expect a better furnished place.
Belssi (6/5): - Water did not drain well in the bathroom sink and shower. Shower curtain was dirty. Towels and bed sheets did not look clean. No air conditioning. The suite was spacious and the location is great. With a little more care, this could become a great place to stay.
Marion (5/5): Helpful host; cleanliness below par, damp, enclosed - We were disappointed that this was basement accommodation. There was no indication in the description or photos that this may be an option. There were narrow and winding spiral steps down into the apartment which we managed but others may find challenging. The sofa bed is awkwardly positioned for others overnight if requiring access to the kitchen. The bed linen and a towel provided were not clean; nor was all of the cutlery or the kitchen sink. However the host did respond promptly when highlighted, apologised and more towels were provided. Given the basement location and complete lack of natural light, the apartment felt very oppressive at night and was uncomfortably hot despite fans although the weather was unusually warm. It was also very damp. Towels etc did not dry- there were few places to hang these to support drying. And there were no instructions for the dehumidifier which we had to empty daily. The location was reasonable- a long walk to the centre but public transport options and plenty of options for food in the area. For the price and for Toronto it was probably acceptable though the cleanliness was poor. Cleanliness of appliances, cutlery, crockery; damp; lack of natural light.
Eugen (6/5): It served its purpose but I wouldn’t stay again. - The apartment is comfortable and has a kitchen with all you need, a large fridge freezer. The eaves on this property are of a shallow angle meaning that you hit your had and have to duck a lot to get around. Carrying luggage up two floors can be difficult as there is no lift. The air conditioning is not really enough for a hot sunmer’s day, the single unit cannot cope with the two rooms.

Jenny (7/5): Leuk en origineel appartement - De accommodatie is ruim, fijn dat er twee aparte slaapkamers zijn. Goede keuken, er waren voldoende pannen met borden, bestek en glazen. Ik miste wel een theedoek. De wijk vonden wij erg leuk en juist fijn dat we niet in het toeristische deel zaten, terwijl het eigenlijk dichtbij was. De badkamer is echt aan vervanging toe!!!! Niet echt schoon te krijgen en ziet er armoedig uit, alles werkt wel. De vloeren lopen scheef, dus als je in bed gaat liggen, denk je dat je dronken bent… Wat ik jammer vond, was dat er op mijn vraag geen antwoord kwam. Zeker omdat de vraag gesteld werd of alles in orde was!

Jeremy (10/5): Possibly new favorite Toronto lodging - Great experience! Comfortable, easy to access, can't beat having a parking space. So many great places for coffee, food, and cocktails right in the area. Looking forward to staying again.
Timothy (10/5): - Away from all the major hustle and bustle of Toronto, yet so close that everything is still walkable! The area is clean with lots of bars and restaurants for you to enjoy. The staff are also extremely helpful and are honestly what made this place so much more of a stand out. I will be back!

Karolina (4/5): Zklamání - Ubytování bylo blízko stanice autobusu do centra, což byla určitě výhoda. Ubytování bylo pro tři osoby dost velké, takže jsme se tam dobře vešli. Kuchyň byla dobře vybavená. Dostali jsme pokoj v suterénu, o čemž jsme nebyli předem informováni a na stránkách ani tento pokoj nebyl vyfocený. Cesta dolů byla po velmi strmých točitých schodech a tahat tudy kufry byl opravdu očistec. I pro zdravého člověka byla cesta dolů dost nepříznivá, natož pro lidi, co mají problémy se zády! V pokoji hučelo topení a nešlo s tím nic udělat. Nebyly tam okna, takže ani nešlo vyvětrat. Vchod dovnitř do pokoje byl rovnou z parkoviště. V pokoji byla cítit zatuchlina, když jsme o tom napsali správci, jen nám řekl, že to se vyvětrá.. už nikdy víc!

Isaac (8/5): - Fantastic and spacious well-furnished apartment for a family trip. Amazing location convenient to transit and local restaurants. Very smooth and convenient; easy check-in instructions and the included parking was a plus. Overall a great place to stay. A few issues need some attention: Bathroom is cramped with a large broken cabinet, shower does not drain well, the fold-out sofa is slanted to the middle making it difficult to sleep on (making it hard to actually sleep 6). With a little attention this could be perfection!

Williams (5/5): Great location and spacious.. not noteworthy... - It's definitely spacious. The beds were comfy. Full kitchen and fridge were nice. The location was good. Convenience store right across the street, and an AWESOME little breakfast spot close by called 'White Lilly' I HIGHLY recommend. While the bed clothes and towels were clean.. The floors and bathrooms were not. The giant mirror had hand prints and smudges all over it. It really needs a nice thorough cleaning. There is the smell of cooking oil which they cover with strong air freshener. But it's next to little eateries so.. not much else they can do about that. Wasn't much of an issue for us. It was kind of a tricky place to find. In between streets.. It would be helpful for them to give clearer instructions. Also.. the 'garden view' table set up is really just a table set up on the ground outside the door right next to the parking spots.. more of a 'look at where you parked view'.. Not a deal breaker, but certainly not as advertised. Overall, it was a decent stay for the price.. with a thorough cleaning, some bed clothes for the sofa bed, and a little fine-tuning (maybe some decor?) it could be great.

Orrett (7/5): Very nice! Great area. Highly recommend! - Nice, clean with some modern updates. Suite had 2 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms plus free parking. Fans in the bedrooms were a nice bonus and sound machines in each bedroom. Suite was spacious with skylight. The beds were low but very comfortable. One of the bedroom fans didn’t work. A clock in each bedroom would be nice and a recycle bin! There is a coffee percolator but no coffee or cream provided.

Marcelo (5/5): - The apartment was large and well equipped. Poor Wifi network, had to climb 2 big set of stairs (which can be hard if you have big luggage as we did), the bedroom curtains were transparents with lots of light in the room at 6am making it difficult to sleep after sunrise.

Elise (8/5): Great location with tons of room - The space and location for the price was fantastic. However the room is a bit worn looking and the hotel nickels and dimes you for additional towels, bedding or services. It was a little noisy but the sound machine in the bedroom helped.

But very noisy street and a faint smell and windows were open on a cold day which we couldn’t understand. Was warm inside even so. Comfy beds! Parking spot! Loud walking above but only lasted an hour, tub didn’t have stopper but we fashioned our own as our son needed a bath!

Cayley (10/5): Great Location, Will Be Back!! - I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights to see some concerts in Toronto. The location of this property is amazing. It offers free parking (literally unheard of in any major city), a full kitchen, living and dining area, and a separate bedroom. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the room came with a white noise machine (life saver) and a fan for air circulation and further noise dampening. The kitchen was equipped with any cooking utensil you could possibly need, and plenty of different appliances such as a full oven, full fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, and toaster. This property does not have an elevator, and the room I stayed in was up two flights of stairs. This wasn’t a problem for me, but if you have any kind of mobility issue, or will have a lot of things to lug up to your room, I’d recommend staying in one of the lower level rooms. One thing I will mention is the cleanliness of the room. Overall it was fine, but whatever they use to clean the floors leaves a residue (almost like a wood polish). I would recommend bringing house shoes. There was a used “protection” wrapper just under the bed (took a photo - not uploaded), that I didn’t notice until I was gathering my things to leave. The bedroom in particular would be hard for cleaning staff to navigate so I have sympathy for that! Overall, this property was incredible. Reasonably priced and awesome location. I will be back for sure!! **review photos were taken at checkout, hence unmade bed & dishes**
