• Pierre (9/5): Superb cottage - The location is perfect. The cottage is absolutely gorgeous. The stairs and the fireplace are magnificent. The host was available. We did snowshoe as a family and the land surrounding the area is very beautiful.I will comme back for sure however, what I did not like must not be an issue next time. I still recommended the cottage the size is perfect for a family. We did appreciate our stay. As a high end rental location, I expected everything to be perfect. However, the spa was not cleaned nor the water quality and PH balance done properly and filled like I should be. Although I could have balanced the water in the spa, there was no chemicals provided available as told by the owner. Frankly, I should have not been ask to do the job by myself. As a high end rental location, it should have been done properly before we arrived. Also, due to an electricity blackout from 20h to 22h, and as a result the water pump pressure went down and we did not have water from 20h to the following day at 8h. We couldn't reach the owner to find out how to restart the water well pump before 8h am. It was a minor issue but none of less a situation that could have been avoided should we have been able to reach the owner rapidly. (We sent an email, we sent a message via Booking.com and we even called but we were answered back the following day. It would be a good idea to provide information on how to restart the water pump in case of electricity disruption. But overall, the owner was nice enough to offer us a late check out for 14h which was appreciated.

• Gervais (8/5): No water vacation - Nice big open space, nice big windows, comphy beds. Accommodating kitchen. Plenty of wood for fires. Nicely decorated, cozy, hammocks. Few board games to play, Dogs permitted!!! ox Images on the site, show a lake, a dock, etc.. there is NO place to swim. (should remove those pictures).That was misleading. The so-called public beach 10 min away is very small and was not very inviting. The closest lake is 5 min drive but it's a boat launch, no swimming area. Few comments but rather speak to host directly Have plenty of suggestions if wanted.
