The pool will be closed until the end of April which wasn’t advertised on booking .com and I specifically booked it for that reason. The front desk staff asked me for my passport which was in my suitcase, she could’ve simply asked for an id, then suggested my mom give her identification also which prompted my mom to have to open the suitcases and while doing that she finally said she only needed her name. Then when I wanted to pay for the check in fee, she almost charged my debit card instead of the credit card on file. I asked her to next time just state what she needs.

• Jose Othon (5/5): I loved the Hotel, but I could not ever stay there again due to my life-safety concerns. - Great breakfast. Great staff. Beautifully furnished. Great restaurant downstairs. The hotel while tastefully furnished, has allowed the deterioration of life-safety measures (dictated by international building codes) which were built into the design of this multi-story building. Once you see it, it's easy to understand why they allowed it, but it's a serious failure. The building stair tower, key elements in an evacuation, are compromised. The fire doors are screwed to the concrete walls. The hardware safety latches have been removed. The smoke seals have been removed. Hotel rooms doors, with self-closing hinges (a life-safety requirement) have been painted over. Doors do not close as they should. They look nice, but don't work anymore. The smoke gaskets have been removed. I alerted the management about all these things. Took two of their representatives to see them, and followed up with a letter documenting my observations. The letter was completely ignored. Management was completely unresponsive. Staff and hotel guests will not do well if there is ever a fire in that building.

Olor en ascensores de edificio de atrás muy malo.

• Ana (10/5): Estadía segura y muy confortable. - El Hotel es precioso. La ubicación ideal, cerca de restaurantes, metro y del parque la Carolina. Grandes habitaciones, camas y almohadas muy cómodas. Los amennities: jabón, shampoo, acondicionador, etc., de inmejorable aroma y calidad. El desayuno excelente, y los restaurantes del hotel muy buenos. Las zonas húmedas en semana están abiertas para los huéspedes hasta las 8:30 PM, excepto la piscina que está abierta hasta las 9:45 PM. Es de anotar que como este lugar es abierto al público de afuera, se mantiene muy pero muy concurrido. Clase de hidroaeróbicos en la noche que no da espacio para uno relajarse en la piscina.

Lobby area is buzzing Suites should permit family of four to stay not just twin occupancy given two large double beds. Breakfast was disappointing

The staff weren't very helpful - including telling the airline that had delayed my luggage that I wasn't staying there so I couldn't get my luggage. It would have been useful to know that you need a swim hat and your own towels to use the pool. It would also be great to have access to menus for dinner in the room or available online.

Las instalaciones de los parqueaderos están muy deteriorados. Tuve un ligero percance con el inodoro, ya que una vez que jalé el agua, comenzó a gotear y empezó a tenr un olor desagradable. Tener muy en consideración esto; por el reto todo muy bien

• Keith (8/5): Nice Hotel, big Breakfast Buffet, close to everything Downtown. - There is a large buffet breakfast every day, and the hotel was walking distance to most everything in downtown Quito. Taxi service is readily available at a very low price. Cleaning services were very thorough. The Hotel is quite old, and every door in our room squeaked terribly. When maintenance never responded to our call to the front desk, I bought a small bottle of olive oil and oiled all the hinges and that solved the problem immediately. There were many wonderful restaurants near by.

• Izzia (10/5): Confortable, los empleados del hotel muy amables, el hotel lindo. - Fui para fechas navideñas y la decoración hermosa❤️ Los jugos del desayuno un poco desabridos, la mantequilla debería ser sellada, y pésima mermelada solo una opción y de la fruta de la estación, sin opción a elegir. También le falta limpieza a las alfombras.

• Yvonne (9/5): Great location, curotuous ans helpful staff - It’s conveniently located near everything, main mall, park, offices and plenty of restaurants and coffee shops There was one night that a neighbor facility hotel/apartment complex had very loud music on and even with the windows closed it was still interrupting our sleep. I don’t think this is typical and maybe had to do with the Quito independence festivities.
