- Marina (8/5): I would definitely stay here again. Very handy for a city visit. - West End apartments are really well situated for many city events but also close to restaurants in West End. Its an easy walk to Southbank . We were staying for an event being held in the city and it was very handy. The apartment had everything necessary for self catering and the is a Woolies and Coles nearby, but we ate out most of the time, because there was a lot to chose from. Great coffee shops as well for early morning meals. Its an older style apartment setup but plenty of space to relax.
- Kate (1/5): Awful - Absolutely nothing Room was dirty and gross
Not at the standard expected of a four star property
I was woken at 350 am with bright lights and excessive construction noise that continued until I checked out (a day early) at 8am. It was impossible to sleep!
The accomodation did not have reception out of hours however I contacted them and was promised I could get a refund. Apparently the person that told me that was “not authorised”, so I was not given the refund at all. This four star accomodation was more like a hostel, except it was over $400 per night for just myself. Indoors I saw dogs, the room was not clean. The pillows were the worst I have experienced, the outside noise was unbearable. The type of shower you don’t want to use. Apparently a sign was on the front door informing of the noise, however i didn’t see it and given they won’t refund I am unsure of the benefit of the sign?
Worst place I have ever stayed at, obviously so many more options in this part of Brisbane. I moved to the Novotel and it was superb, only $100 more.
- John (9/5): - great location
- Ulus (8/5): -
- Rodney (5/5): - Staff were lovely and the location was great. Our room on the first floor was very dated, the shower in the bath had no rails to hold when stepping out of it.
Very noisy and the room next door had a dog that woke us at night.
A room above us had water pouring over their balcony from a pipe which stopped us using ours.
- John (8/5): handy and comfy, good car acomodation - handy and comfy to eateries and shops. handy to qpac and south bank. unit was spacious and comfortable. bedwas comfy. shower in bathtub was a bit hard to get in and out. there wasa bit of outside noise from 11pm to 2am

- Libby (8/5): Comforatble and clean apartment in walking distance to Brisbane City and Southbank. - The Location was ideal for an event close by we attended. It is very close to Southbank and QPAC and the city. Nice little community with cafes and restaurants just around the corner. The service was A1 with a personalised greeting at the front door and an allocated carpark. Room was clean and comfortable. Room was small but adequate. The hallways are a little tatty but that is only cosmetic.
- Jay74 (6/5): Good for a short stay - The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was excellent for seeing a show at QPAC and close to food stores. The on-site parking was very convenient. Only one elevator worked and there was building works happening in the apartment opposite where I stayed, there were very long waits to use remaining elevator due to it being co-opted by the workmen. The elevator, hallway and garage enterance was covered in black plastic. The bathroom had what looked like mold all around the cornices.
- Wynand (7/5): Good overnight stay in good location - Friendly staff. Great location. Needs updating and renovation.
- celine (10/5): - Location, friendly staff
- Mark (8/5): -
- Jodie (7/5): Great place to stay close to south bank and west end eateries. - It’s close to where we wanted to be So permanent residents can be very noisy at night
- Veronica (8/5): -
- van der Kley (9/5): -
- Pam (8/5): - The location of the apartments was the major draw card - so close to the city, restaurants and easy to get onto the main access routes as we had a rental car.
- Natalie (7/5): -
- Sophie (9/5): - Close to south bank, quiet, clean. A bit over priced.

- Jessica (7/5): - Easy to check in and perfect location for events at west end. Room was clean, just the basics for a night out. Older and slow elevators
- Tania (6/5): -
- Dulce (10/5): -
- Jarrod (10/5): - Great location, lovely staff and super comfortable bed.
- Catalina (5/5): -
- Belinda (8/5): - Convenient location.
- Demi (10/5): -
- Dyan (8/5): Old and tired but clean. Adequate but pricey. - Location was great. Room was clean. Size was good enough. Bed was quite comfortable. Unit was rather old. Electric plugs in awkward places or required an extension cord. Tripping hazard going into the bathroom higher than the room floor. Tub/shower was huge and somewhat difficult to climb into for a shower..
- Nishant (10/5): - Location is an absolute winner. Covered parking and various other facilities makes this property highly desirable Living room AC requires service as the indoor unit makes too much sound when switched on.
- Shane (7/5): -
- Karen (7/5): - We choose West End Apartments as the location was great for the show we were seeing at West end electric.
Ian who greeted us as we entered to check in was absolutely great. Friendly and helpful. Businesses that have employees like Ian should be very grateful. The rooms were aging and in need of some TLC. The price we paid we were expecting it to be fresher/renovated etc
- Robert (7/5): -
- Ian (7/5): -
- Stefan (10/5): - Great place to stay all the shops and town and nice and close the front counter guy was friendly
- FRANCINE (8/5): Overall our stay was lovely - Location was perfect. Unit was clean. Staff were very friendly and welcoming The room is a little dated and could do with a mini refresh. New kitchen bench top, art and unit/desk under the tv would make a huge difference.
- Trevor (8/5): Very convenient place to stay when attending a show at QPAC. - Great position, able to walk to Southbank and the city. Staff kindly let us leave our car in the carpark while we went for a walk around Southbank. All good
- Diane (10/5): Ideal location for our plans for that stay - Location was ideal, very central, the room was lovely and clean. Bed was very comfortable. The apartments were quiet. Receptionist was very friendly n/a
- Kieran (8/5): - Location, staff helpful. No lock on door first night.
- Monique (8/5): -
- Kylie (5/5): Location is excellent, rooms are overpriced unfortunately. - It's all about the location, so close to all the restaurants and bars in West End. Bed was comfy No TV in bedroom or balcony furniture but the receptionist did get us a couple of chairs for out there. Make sure you close the bedroom door if cooking, we set off the smoke alarm while cooking breakfast and that almost cost us $1500, if the fire brigade showed up to a false alarm. Thankfully the staff came up to make sure all was ok before calling the fire brigade.
- Esther (8/5): -
- Tania (7/5): Good location - Central to QPac and South Bank Parkrun Expensive for a basic room with no facilities
- Sarah (6/5): - It was comfortable enough for one night, location was ok. The room was not ready when we checked in, but staff we very quick to make sure the room was made up immediately. the corridors leading from the lift to the room absolutely stunk. Obviously residents in the building don’t heed warnings of leaving open doors etc when cooking.
- Lynette (7/5): - Proximity to shops and restaurants It’s dated and could use a refurb.
- Jones (10/5): - It is well located for Southbank and Qpac.
- Gemma (5/5): Met our needs. - Location, the room was comfortable. The room, and the common areas could do with good paint job. and new carpet. the bathroom flooring could do with a re tile. Shower over the bath, was a bit tricky for my colleague to climb over. Otherwise ok.
- Jo (9/5): -
- Derek (7/5): -
- Colleen (8/5): great location, friendly staff would return - The staff on reception were so friendly and helpful.

- Charlotte (9/5): -
- Emma (8/5): -
- Stacey (7/5): -
- Cassandra (8/5): -
- heather (10/5): - Excellent location!
Friendly and helpful staff. Nothing
- Lyn (8/5): - Locality. Helpful staff. Easy sign in. Slippery shower floor and no shelf in shower for soap etc.
- Claire (10/5): - Excellent last minute booking! The apartment was spacious, clean and just what we needed for our 1 night stay in Brisbane.
- Sandra (9/5): - We stayed in a 2bed 2 bath apartment which was much bigger than expected with a large terrace and 2 balconies. Ella the manager was great even though we arrived earlier and our apartment was ready. The beds were comfortable with great fans and air conditioning and plenty of storage. Apartments are in a great location with an abundance of places to eat and grocery stores if you want to cook. Would definitely stay again if we return to Brisbane in the future. Could be a bit noisy with traffic outside which is to be expected with the location.
- Anneke (10/5): - The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, with an incredible value for money, with both a wide range of facilities available as well as being in a great location.
- Jeffrey (9/5): - Location perfect, walking distance to shops, restaurants. Manager was very friendly and very helpful with advice. Would definitely stay again
- Jessica (10/5): -
- Cathryn (1/5): Extremely disappointed. Checked out after 1 night of 4 night booking. - Crystal at the front desk was excellent. That was the only decent thing about the property. My room smelt horrible and the photos have obviously been touched up to make the property look much better than it actually was. I didn’t recognise it from the street due to the filter/photoshop that has been done to the main external photo.
- Leanne (10/5): Highly recommend, will book here again - Easy walk to Suncorp stadium, south bank and Brisbane cbd. Nothing
- Ashley (6/5): -
- Ian (10/5): Home away from home - We loved the convenience of the location. Was very easy for us to get to flying into Brisbane from Mackay and catching just one train and a short walk. Also convenient to attractions and services.
The apartment was clean and comfortable.
The only minor concern was that the hall way could have done with a vacuum, but this is very minor and not a detraction.
The staff are a great asset being friendly and knowledgeable of the local area.
Will definitely stay again and recommend to friends.
Cheers

- Ronald (9/5): - Location very convenient for us. Small room but very clean.
- Tania (4/5): - Good location Room was a bit dated for the price
- Ross (7/5): -
- Christine (9/5): We had a function locally to attend and we were walking distance. Easy to find food venues when required - Great location
- Michael (8/5): All round good - Location was good for value Strange smell in the hallways ( musty smell)
- Kiona (10/5): -
- Alison (9/5): See above - I arrived late and staff helped me get in. I mislaid my hearing aids and they did their best to help me the next day. They turned the room upside down and didn't find them, but when I came back I found them and gave the staff a hug.
- James (7/5): -
- Julian (10/5): -
- Anthony (7/5): Reasonably priced for the location. - Location is fantastic for shopping and dinning in West End Our apartment was a little tired.
- Mayara (5/5): -
- DARYL (8/5): - ALL WAS GREAT THE CARPET NEEDS PEPLACING
- Mark (8/5): Great location, great staff - The location and the staff could not have been any better. The mattress on the sofa bed was in poor condition as far as comfort was concerned.

- Nicole (7/5): Convenient and cosy. - Great location for foot travel around West End. Room was clean and comfy.
- Kerrie (5/5): Was very clean - Pool area Was a bit old and the spa didn’t work in the room
- Tracey Gorrie (6/5): Had a lovely time, very central, weren't in the appartment much. - We felt safe and it was central, walking distance, and technology was good. It's a bit run down, and up the road was a homeless camp
