• Filipe (10/5): Lovely and cozy stay in the middle of the mountains with a view of Albanian Alps. - It’s a cute little cabin in the middle of the mountains with an extraordinary view. The cabins are cozy, warm with real fireplaces. The main bed is in the second half floor, but the sofa-bed in the first floor also turns into a queen bed. Excellent lining! Really hot water and comfortable bathroom. And the family that runs it is amazing! The wife cooks only fresh food from local producers - her menu varies accordingly. The husband built the whole place (by himself) and the children help serve the guests. Definitely a place to return and stay for a whole weekend of holiday.

• Paavo (10/5): A great place to stay - A great place to stay in Lepushe. Very nice and warm with wood stoves, even in winter weather. Mary and her family were very welcoming and interesting to talk to, food was excellent. Very nice area, we were ski touring and had the mountains almost to ourselves. Nothing!
• Jeroen (9/5): Fantastische houten hut in de bergen met een magisch uitzicht - Een prachtige houten hut met een fantastisch uitzicht over de bergen. In de ochtend de gordijnen open is magisch. De familie is heel aardig en de kinderen helpen goed mee. Ze doen alles om het je naar de zin te maken. Het ontbijt is geweldig en het avondeten ook. Het ligt heerlijk rustig in de bergen en vanuit hier kun je prachtige wandelingen maken. We kregen hout voor de houtkachel in de hut. Niet nodig maar wel sfeervol. L’accueil de Marie et de sa famille a été exceptionnel, empreint de générosité et de sincérité. En seulement trois jours, nous avons partagé des beaux moments, rythmés par une cuisine délicieuse et généreuse, dans le cadre splendide des monts de Lepushe. Ce fut l’une de nos plus belles étapes en Albanie, une véritable rencontre humaine que nous garderons dans nos cœurs. The welcome from Marie and her family was exceptional, filled with generosity and sincerity. In just three days, we shared beautiful moments, accompanied by delicious and generous food, in the splendid setting of the Lepushe mountains. It was one of our most memorable stops in Albania, a true human encounter that we will keep in our hearts. Mikpritja e Marisë dhe familjes së saj ishte e jashtëzakonshme, plot bujari dhe sinqeritet. Për vetëm tre ditë, ndamë momente të bukura, të shoqëruara me ushqim të shijshëm dhe bujar, në peizazhin mahnitës të maleve të Lepushës. Ky ishte një nga ndalesat tona më të bukura në Shqipëri, një takim i vërtetë njerëzor që do ta mbajmë në zemrat tona. Pa asnjë dyshim do të kthehemi sërish.
• Olivia (10/5): An amazing place to stay, with wonderful hosts! - Everything about this stay was exceptional! The owners are very friendly and helpful, and go out of their way to make you feel at home (our children were even playing with their children!). The accommodation is cosy and had everything we needed, the food was delicious (make sure you order dinner from the restaurant - I recommend the fish or cheese fondue!), and it’s only a 10 minute drive from Lepushe, where one of the major hikes in the region begins. I highly recommend this guesthouse! Nothing. It was excellent!
• Jean (10/5): - Superbe auberge bien authentique tenue par une famille adorable avec qui on a apprécié discuter toute la soiree. Le repas très bon, on recommande "la fondue" de fromage et le corn bread a la crème. Petit dej servi dans le jardin egalement excellent. Les logements sont très confortables. Petit coup de cœur!
• Fardau (9/5): Een geweldig verblijf bij een warm en gastvrij gezin - De eigenaren van de A-frame huisjes, hun gezin is geweldig! Lieve kinderen, waarvan hun zoon een geweldige hulp in de bediening is. Hun dochter is ook een schat. En zij zelf zijn harde werkers en doen er alles aan om jou verblijf zo fijn mogelijk te laten zijn. We kregen uitgebreid Albaans ontbijt en in de avond heerlijk Albaans avondeten. Ook de accommodatie zelf was super. Schoon, fijn bed (wij sliepen op de slaapbank, die is iets groter en slaapt heerlijk) en een fijne badkamer. Niks, het was geweldig!

The host family was incredibly welcoming, the food was delicious and homemade, the villa was spacious and well decorated and the surrounding nature was breathtaking. It’s located in a beautiful valley in Kelmend- peaceful, untouched, and full of charm. And little Zara, the sweetest dog, made the stay even more special. A hidden gem worth experiencing Nothing

• Mary-ann (10/5): We would highly recommend this property for an authentic Northern Albanian experience. The accommodation was very comfor - Our stay was made extra special because of the welcoming and friendly nature of our host family. They went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and well cared for. The A frame accommodation was delightfully styled, warmed with a slow combustion heater and had a beautiful outlook of the village. Our host was an amazing cook and modified their delicious traditional food to suit our veganism. The village was quiet and very beautiful. It is also well located to reach some hikes through the mountains which is why we chose Lëpuchë. Nothing

• Carmen (10/5): Best stay in Albania - We had the pleasure of staying four nights at this charming family-run guesthouse and restaurant, and we can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality of the owners (a young couple with two beautiful kids) made us feel like part of their family. The tiny house was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, offering a cozy atmosphere with a wood-fired oven and a great view that was perfect for relaxation. The highlight of our stay was (next to the tiny house) the restaurant, where we enjoyed delicious, homemade Albanian dishes made from fresh, local ingredients. Each meal was a delightful experience, showcasing the rich flavors of the region. Every evening we sat with the owners who took the time to share stories about their life and the country, which added a very personal touch to our experience. The location was ideal for exploring nearby attractions (mountain hikes, canyon, waterfall, etc.). This valley is not as busy as Teth or Valbona and offers sights and activities which are not overrun and therefore even more special and wonderful. If you're looking for a genuine Albanian experience with exceptional service and mouthwatering food, this guesthouse/restaurant is an absolute gem. If we could give 10 stars we certainly would! This place is beyond phenomenal and it was the best part of our vacation in Albania. We can’t wait to return! —
• Catherine (10/5): Pure magic and Albanian bliss - This accommodation was just wonderful. The hosts are so welcoming and kind. We had amazing breakfasts and dinners the two nights we stopped. We did an early morning hike in Lepushë and they gave us take away breakfast. The room is wonderful and the location so peaceful. We are still on our holidays in Albania and can’t stop talking about it. The road there is beautiful too. There was nothing to dislike. Just perfect.
