Guest Reviews
- Pauline (10/5): Amazing and great for a family getaway - Huge spacious house with very co fly beds with heaps of room and great location
- Kate (7/5): Good - Beautiful house, good location
Massive space
Easy to access The shower in the middle of the house was confusing, the hot water did not work the second night
The fridge was not cold and we struggled to fix the temperature. Luckily there was a bar fridge in the back room we could store milk.
Wifi from the club was very very weak and did not work
- Julie (8/5): great house - Fridge wasnt working properly
- Jeremy (9/5): Great property will stay again. - Love the size set up and decor. Parking easy. Master bed very hard.
- Kate (10/5): Exceptional -
- Russell (9/5): Superb - Very spacious and well appointed. The main fridge was not working properly and there was no response to a message sent reporting this issue
- Karen (9/5): Superb - A washing line or clothes hanger for washing was very much needed. Small touches like clothes washing powder and a few condiments in the kitchen. A few coffee pods for the machine also would have been great.
- Annette (10/5): Fantastic stay will definitely stay again - The beds were very comfortable the bathrooms beautiful and just a great house Nothing
- Jhaneen (9/5): Lovely house to stay. - Location, easy walk to shops.
Good having air conditioning in each bedroom.
Good kitchen and laundry.
Good space in the rooms.
Good location next to club for meal one night.
Lots of night lights.
Would happily stay here again. Back door key pad was not always easy to open on first attempt.
A clothes rack for drying would be good.
The shower in the bathroom rarely had hot water, or took a long time to arrive, so a lot of water wasted.
- Biegler (9/5): We enjoyed it immensely. Great house. - Old, interesting, nice renovation of an old house. Very comfortable and beautifully refurbished. No wifi.
- Victoria (9/5): Lovely stay in huge house. - Very clean and comfortable. Huge house. All conveniences were there. Two separate living areas plus kitchen and dining room. Very quiet location even though it’s next door to the Corowa Club. Water pressure wasn’t great. Flexible shower head is broken in the main bathroom. Fixed shower works fine though.
- Carolyn (8/5): Very good -
- Gordon (9/5): Best location for us and value for money. - Everything all needs met No screen on back door which is main entry and needs to be left open to cool house
- Sharni (10/5): Exceptional - The house was bigger than we expected. It had everything we needed. Would stay here again.
- Jo (8/5): Very good -
- David (7/5): Good -
- Rachael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fiona (9/5): Superb -
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathryn (9/5): If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway this is the place! - An excellent place to stay for a few days in the ‘country’ Fairleys is centrally located ie next door to a big club (with a really good bistro) and within walking distance to an amazing Italian restaurant and Woolworths. The kitchen was fully equipped so anyone wishing to cook their meals would be happy. The house itself was renovated beautifully and kept to the original character. Beds were comfortable and cleanliness was of a high standard. The enormous yard was a lovely spot to sit in the sun and enjoy a wine or cuppa. The wineries of Rutherglen were a short drive away. Nothing too negative. However, a bbq and some larger garden furniture would be nice. Also, I don’t think the accommodation is suitable for people with young children mainly because kiddies could easily wander out onto the road. Some information about the history of the house would have been welcome.
- Karen (9/5): Superb - Facilities and close location to Corowa Club and Main Street. No TV in lounge room.
Gas Heater in lounge not working.
- Margaret (10/5): Relaxing stay in a gorgeously renovated older style property - Beautifully appointed property Not applicable
- Julia (8/5): Very good -
- Lisa (9/5): Excellent and would stay again !! - Very spacious and beautiful features. Comfortable beds, stylish bathrooms , everything provided that you need for a stay Needed a better Smart TV that you could watch Kayo/Fox Sport on, you could also have a tv in the front lounge room.
- Hannah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Donna (10/5): Large country home with all the quality and comforts you could want - The property has everything we needed and was comfortable and clean. It was in a great location next to the club and short walk to Main Street and shops. Nil
- Elise (9/5): A beautifully renovated property with amazing facilities - It was a lovely property and on the whole was extremely clean The beds were rather hard and the king being sank towards the centre
- Margaret (9/5): enjoyable - Really lovely property, tastefully renovated
the contact was responsive
Nice big yard
big spacious rooms
massive laundry and washing machine and dryer
excellent kitchen and bathrooms
Close to the club for food Only thing missing was somewhere to hang wet clothes - no line or airer and an ice tray to make ice
Undercover parking or garage would have been great
the keypad had me worried for a while as it was scratched - but then touched it and could see the lights come on
TV in main bedroom would have been nice
- James (9/5): beautiful renovated old style home which allows you to relax whilst the kids can play, close to wineries, main street &a - the value of the property for what is offered was great, beautiful big home with a large yard. pool table was a bonus couldn’t connect to wifi, the TV didn’t have streaming apps
- Patrick (7/5): Good -
- Joan (9/5): Superb - We enjoyed staying in the house as it was roomy and had all the comforts of home. The decor was lovely and the location was next to the RSL Club and 10 minutes walk from the main street. Nothing
- Deb (8/5): Very good - Lovely large house within walking distance to town centre Problem with WiFi, staff at Club Corowa who own the house were not interested. Said someone would contact us. Still waiting.
As an aside, don't bother coming on Mondays, town shuts down for meals, even the club next door!
- Virginia (9/5): Plenty of space - Huge house with big rooms providing all the comforts. Loved the big spaces to relax, and even play pool. Would love to know a bit more history of the house. Easy walk to eat out or cook in the large well equipped kitchen. .
- Cassie (9/5): Lovely house in a peaceful location- great for a family trip! - The house was beautiful and a lot larger than we were expecting! It had all the amenities we could've hoped for including a full kitchen and laundry, two full bathrooms. If you're travelling in the region with a large group, I'd highly recommend this house! The photos don't really do it justice, it's a beautiful house!
Right next door to the RSL, and a few minutes from the shops, it's a nice quiet location to escape to! The door code was hard to read, and the darts in the dartboard were all broken- only minor things, everything else was fantastic.
- Jane (10/5): Exceptional - No hair dryer
- Narelle (10/5): Loved the pool table. Great place for the weekend and everyone has been so happy. - Well renovated and furnished. Beautiful and everything has been thought of. Felt like a home. Perhaps the outdoor areas could benefit from a sheltered eating space with shade and sheltered carpark.
- Monique (9/5): What a brilliant house in a great spot! - Excellent furnishings and space
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (9/5): Superb - This home was the best of both worlds, as it had lovely period and modern features with plenty of spaces to relax and enjoy. The decor complimented the home and added a cosy and inviting atmosphere. Very well equipped and comfortable home.
We loved our stay and will be back again.
