Guest Reviews
- Gwyneth (9/5): Fabulous location. Good choice of hospitality very close. Safe area - Location was outstanding. 2 of us stayed so had a king size bed and bathroom each. Plenty of lovely bars/restaurants within 10 minute walk. Felt very safe Neighbour seemed very cross, waiting for us to leave the apartment so she could shout at us. We are nearly 60 so definitely not noisy and try to be considerate to all. Could have done with more clean towels. Couldn’t have self catered as although lots of crockery the utensils etc were of poor quality. Attention to detail; shelves in bathroom were loose, kitchen needs replaced, no tea towels/kitchen cloths

- Josue (10/5): Amazing beautiful apartment in Picasso’s building - Beautiful property on a beautiful street. 2 bathrooms and one separate shower. Our kids loved the jacuzzi tub. Great location close to the Spanish steps and metro station. Very attentive to our messages and very helpful. Drinking water fountain just steps from the property. Would be even more perfect with a clothes washer.

- Satu (8/5): - Tilava huoneisto kahdessa tasossa kolmella suihkulla ja kahdella wc:llä. Sijainti Via Margutalla on oikein hyvä.
- claudio (10/5): - Tutto
- Sofia (9/5): Siamo stati ben accolti - La posizione, l’accoglienza, la location Andava bene
- Stefano (9/5): -
- Kristina (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay at these Roman apartments exceeded our expectation. Tucked away on an unbelievably quiet and picturesque little street right in the heart of the city, the place felt like a hidden gem we were lucky to discover. The host was exceptional—attentive and welcoming.
We were so delighted with the apartment that we would have gladly spent even more time there… if only the beauty of Rome outside hadn’t been constantly calling us out the door. An unforgettable stay—we’d definitely return 😀 Nothing
- carmencita (10/5): - Great place in the wonderful Street of Rome, Margutta. A quiet and cosy apartment.
- Danny (9/5): Beautiful place and street , you are in a movie set! - Lovely apartment in such a beautiful street. It has historical significance and we loved it. 5 of us stayed here comfortably. Aircon worked great. Everyone will love it here, it has such character and you walk downstairs and you have all there beautiful quaint shops, you are practically on a real life movie set looking at everything around you. Marvelous! Initially the steps to get up with LARGE suitcases BUT the host was wonderful, we thank him sincerely as he willingly helped us with this suitcases . Grazie mille!

- Georgios (6/5): Bad - Location is good, but the owner was unkind asking us to pay for tax before we take the key apartment. Could you imagine this happen to you as well he did the same for other guest once we left the apartment. No one came to clean the apartment the next day since we stayed for 2 nights. Th owner has not even bothered to call for any assistance. And further, the top of the top, the electric pad for shifting our luggage for the second floor was nonoperational for us. Could you imagine carrying your 6 luggage until the second floor for 150 steps staircase?
- Maurizio (9/5): - La posizione è veramente eccezionale, in pieno centro offre tranquillità, con vista incantevole
Nada

- Amir (9/5): Great location and comfort — just mind the stairs - Overall, we had a good stay. The location is excellent — quiet yet very convenient — and the apartment is spacious and clean. It’s also good for families, with two levels that nicely separate the space into different areas. The kitchen was well equipped, including a coffee machine, and we appreciated finding water waiting for us in the fridge. We stayed here with two large suitcases and two trolleys, and found check-in and check-out a bit challenging due to the building’s accessibility. After entering the gate, it’s not possible to roll your luggage, and you need to carry it up several steep flights of stairs to the 3rd floor. When checking out, taxis and Ubers don’t reach the entrance, so you need to walk to the main road.
The host was kind and responsive, though it would have been helpful to receive a bit more support with these logistics. Because of the accessibility challenges, we decided to book a different place for our return stay. That said, if you’re traveling light or with backpacks, you’ll likely have a much easier experience.
- will (10/5): Lonely spot, enough it - Perfect Cleaner came 10 minutes before check out, felt a bit rushed
- Dana (10/5): -
- Gina (10/5): -
Split aria condizionata rumorosissimo!
Sonno disturbato…
- Camillo (10/5): -
- noga (9/5): new apartment inside an historical building, 5 minutes from Spanish stairs - Host super helpful and welcoming no elevator but expected with an old historical building, only 1 key
- mustafa (10/5): -
- Niki (8/5): Tons of space but AC wasn’t cold, warmer than what is comfortable. - There was a lot of space which was great. There weren’t any doors to close off the rooms to make anything private or to help the AC get cooler. The AC also wasn’t ever cold which is very unfortunate & uncomfortable in the middle of the summer and the temperature outside being 95 degrees.
- Carol (9/5): Lost of stairs great location! - This Apartment was located close to everything we wanted to see, most were in walking distance. Resteraunt across the street and bakeries evry block made it east to grab food on the go, however this apartment has a fully stocked kitchen and a supermarket close by. Also bragging rights, Pablo Picasso lived in this buioding for a while:) The host were extremely helpful. It was hard to get the apartment cool, but remember that we came from the United Sates and we use airconditioning all the time. While you are on the seond floor with no elavator, there are 6 sets of stairs to get to the apartment and then a flight of wooden stairs to get to the mail level of the apartment. Practice walking before you come:) On booking.com the information on ages was over 17 was ana dult. When we arrived I hade to pay an extra 80 euro for my grandaughter, who is 16 because they told me that only under the age of 2 is free.
- Julia (9/5): Superb -
- Stewart (8/5): Beautiful stay in stunning place. - Beautiful property and very spacious. The amount of stairs and no lift made things difficult.
- Lucy (9/5): Very nice apartment in a great location. Host was super friendly and helpful - Great safe location
- Margaret (10/5): Beautiful location & premises - Apartment was extremely well furnished & spotlessly clean.
Located in a lovely quiet street, yet close to shops, sights & restaurants.
Very spacious and had air con.
Would definitely recommend & return but would really like to be able to park the car there. It's a shame you cannot park there, as there seemed to be space to do so.
Owners should consider renting a space or try to arrange same, with a fee, as that would be a big plus for visitors..
It really would make it that bit more comfortable not having to drive to a carpark & then walk back & forth.
Apt is up a number flights of stairs and does not have a lift.
So, not suitable if you are not very mobile, or have lots of luggage, or heavy cases.
Check- in wasn't until 3p.m. and check-out was 10.a.m. So less than 24 hours.
A later check out of even 11.00 a.m.or 11.30 a.m. would be appreciated.
(10/5): Exceptional - The management and location of the apartment are both great. Really like the bright and simplistic design of the interior.
- Ferrell (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yariv (9/5): Superb -
- Gualco (7/5): spectacular - splendid location in the best street of Rome a little challenging to bring luggage’s up 3 floors plus another floor inside.
- Aqil (10/5): great location in Rome center - the property is located in central Rome and walking distance to Rome attractions.
we reserved two bedroom apartment and they were very clean and quite with great facilities.
the kitchen well equipped with all the amenities listed.
bed were very comfortable and the room specious with three bathrooms.
the key given by hand and explained how to open all the door required and check out process were very easy. the apartment doesnt have an elevator so you have to re think if you have many bags and the apartment in the third floor.
- Efstathia (10/5): Wonderful,I ll be back - Amazing, safe, convenient location. Easy access. The appartment was beautiful, well decorated, comfortable with all the basic amenities.
The staff was kind and willing to help us. None
- Marcelo (9/5): Superb -
- Leda (8/5): Very good - We liked the location and the host's treatment. Alessandro is very friendly and helpful. The airport transfer service could not be better. Fluid communication at all times. We think He is an excellent host.
The place is spacious, quiet, has excellent views and beds are comfortable. Well, we had read in the reviews about the problem with stairs, we thought that people were exaggerating because climbing stairs is even a good exercise. But with suitcases, things change, going up three such steep flights, and then going down was hard. It is not recommended for people who travel with heavy suitcases. We also knew about the lack of a washing machine. Well, for 1 or 2 days it is passable, but in our case, it was 5 nights and that made things quite complicated for us. Also, there is no iron (unforgivable). The apartment has the potential to be a very cool place, but it lacks a little bit of love. We suggest a washing machine in the basement of the building or something similar, sheets on all the beds (the entire apartment is rented, not just a room), and perhaps the system already installed in the building to upload suitcases (the one that people with disabilities use).
- Eleonora (9/5): Superb -
- Tuncay (10/5): Exceptional - Location property view
- Wael (1/5): Not recommended at all …… - Nothing ( absolutely not back ) - Acutely the picture not like a real one
- No parking although there is parking inside the garden of the house.
- very old furniture inside.
- a-lot of stairs until to reach the apartment ( NO ELEVATOR)
- Mikayel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marisol (9/5): The location is the best for Rome - The location could not have been better!!
Walking distance to the parking that was outside the ZTL and the area is beautiful and very safe
It is located in a very pretty street. Around you are all the big designers stores
I wish I stayed for longer You are super tired of walking all day and when you return you still have two floors of stairs 😜but still very worth it
- Angela (8/5): A beautiful apartment which just had a couple of shortcomings. - It felt very safe as it was in a quiet back street. It was very clean with all the facilities needed for our 3 day stay. It would’ve been good to have extra pillows available and only one of the showers was in perfect working order but that shower took a long time to drain which made you think it was going to overflow.
- Sofia (8/5): Very good -
- James (10/5): If I can stay there again, it will be my first choice. - Perfect location. Via Margutta is one of the most charming narrow streets in Rome. There was really nothing I didn't like.
- Leslie (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely spacious apartment on the exquisite Via Margutta -beautifully appointed too !
I’d definitely recommend!
- Rebecca (8/5): Thank you for your apartment. We had a fabulous three days in Rome. - Fabulous location. Quiet. Spacious. Clean. Owners were super quick to respond and contacted us to check if all was ok. Owner was very flexible about check in and check out times depending on cleaner. Very clear instructions on how to check in and key availability. No dislikes.
- Leeanne (9/5): Great stay in beautiful part of Rome. - Beautiful part of Rome. Quiet street and close to many attraction Lots of stairs but this is Italy!
- Akbar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yann (6/5): Great location but…. - Location is perfect! Quiet, safe and peaceful street, with a very nice building and a private courtyard. Description of the apartment needs to be changed asap as it only offers 1 real bedroom. Other beds are, in a small recess (with no door), and in the middle of the living room (sofa bed). Impossible to have some privacy with 3 couples. Knowing that, we would have chosen another location.
- Joy (9/5): Superb -
- Maria (9/5): It was a wonderful stay overall. Location, location , location. Space is quite big . - Location was perfect , close to Spanish steps and city center. Location was very safe. There was a fancy restaurant in front of the apartment. Too many steps in the house. There no washer and dryer. May not be an issue for people staying short term. Apartment is also on the third floor without a lift, if you have mobility issue, don’t recommend this place .
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional - Too much stairs for elderly people.
- Asma (10/5): Exceptional - Location and the owner was so helpful For a family it is little hard to get up the stairs the property is in the third floor
- Kenneth (10/5): Alessandro was such a graceful and diligent host! He detach us from the airport for a reasonable fee and then out of his - The property was very large and modern, with 3 bathrooms and sleeping for up to 6 people, as well as a lounge and full kitchen which made it feel a proper apartment
- Junaid (1/5): Bad -
- Sina (7/5): Nice apartment, would stay again once they install proper A/C upstairs. - Location was great, and in a lovely little street. Large, clean apartment. Host communicated well. Bathrooms were a good size Large upstairs area with a double bed, and a single day bed set up. This is all in the one big room. Advertised as a 3 bedroom, but actually only 2. The downstairs bedroom is adjacent to the dining room with no door- so no privacy. There was only a small portable air conditioner upstairs which was noisy and too small to effectively cool such a large area. Therefore we could not sleep upstairs and had to take the mattress downstairs onto the sofa bed. A/C worked well downstairs. Lots of stairs to this apartment- this didn’t bother us but could be a problem for some.
- Judit (10/5): Lovely apartment in central Rome - The hosts were very helpful and accomodating with any requests. The location was absolutely wonderful, and the apartment was very spacious.
- Michelle (10/5): We had an amazing time in Rome in the most beautiful apartment thank you very much ☺️ - We’ve just got home from a 4 night stay at this beautiful apartment. The location is perfect just a few minutes walk from the Spanish Steps. The apartment has everything you need and the beds are so comfortable. The showers have got multiple jets and were amazing. There is a massive jacuzzi bath which we didn’t use but looked incredible. The host Alessandro was so helpful and efficient. He answered our messages promptly and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed for a brilliant holiday. Thank you so much for all your help. The only thing I would say is there are a lot of stairs to get up to the apartment, so it’s not suitable for anyone that struggles with stairs.
- Sundara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dionisis (9/5): A very pleasant stay at Rome, would definitely pick this apartment again for a future trip! - Excellent location near Piazza di Spagna, almost everything was within walking distance and yet it was very quiet. The apartment was very clean and spacious, with all the necessary amenities (fast and steady wifi, hairdryer, espresso machine etc). Very kind and helpful owner! The bedroom curtains could be a little darker to block sunlight completely. A small shelf in each shower for placing shampoos etc would also be useful.
- Vadim (10/5): Exceptional - all! all!
- Vivek (9/5): Excellent attention to service by Alessandro who offered all possible help throughout. - Excellent location, close to most major tourist attractions and shopping areas.
Overall really enjoyable stay, highly recommended. Furniture could have been better but no particular issues.
A microwave oven in the kitchen could be a useful addition.
- Marius (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dmitrii (10/5): Exceptional -
- Riccardo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lyukina (9/5): Superb - The apartment is huge and with one of the most wonderful views in the whole area - on Villa Borghese Gardens and Palazzo Medici . Very quiet and beautiful - in the buildings around it the artists studios and galleries are situated . The bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. We were lucky with the weather , it was still very warm in Rome, so no central heating was necessary. The patio in front of the building is the loveliest on the whole street . The location of the building is definitely the top - the most cinematographic street of the city For some reason at the very evening when I decided to use the jacuzzi , the hot water did not work 🤷♀️on the other days it was fine and enough to take a couple of showers
- A (10/5): The coolest hosts, very kind and helpful. - Great place, awesome people, extra everything!
- Bonny (9/5): Quiet, pretty location in an historic part of Rome away from the crowds. - The location of the property was excellent. Quiet and gates locked every night for which we were given keys, so we felt completely safe.
Very good restaurants and bars within a short walk. The Spanish steps were only a 10 minute walk away and the People’s Square only a 5 minute walk. We walked everywhere.
The owners were wonderful, allowing us to drop off our cases at the apartment and messaged us later when the apartment was cleaned and ready.
The owners set up a WhatsApp group so we could get recommendations and support during our stay. A little more crockery and a welcome pack would have been a nice touch.
- Dabrasu69 (8/5): Nice apartment located in a historical building/street -
- Alexandre (10/5): Great place to spend some time in Rome. - Never expected to stay in such a great apartment for only one night. Historic, beautiful and comfortable. Nothing.
- Andrew (7/5): Good -
- Sebastian (9/5): Superb -
- Islam (10/5): Exceptional - great place to stay with your family and safe
- Jacqueline (10/5): I’m so excited to have finally found my “go-to” place to stay in Rome! - The apartment was huge, clean and very comfortable. It had a lovely view of the trees in the park. The location near the Spanish Steps was also fantastic! Walkable to everything! Roberta was wonderful at communicating via what’s app and recommended a great restaurant to us! I was honestly sorry to leave the apartment, I wanted to live there!
- Hunter (10/5): It simply was amazing. A great value and a great location - Location and size No elevator, but I needed the exercise
- Angela (10/5): It was amazing - The location was awesome Probably the 3 flights of stairs plus then then more stairs inside
- Sarah (9/5): Great spot in Rome. - In a lovely location. Wonderful hosts. Walkable to many main sights. A lot of stairs which was fine for us but may be an issue for some.
- Isabelle (8/5): We loved our stay at Via Margutta. The host was lovely and super responsive. We will be back! - Fabulous location. Quiet and comfortable, especially in the height of summer in such a central location. The host was lovely and responsive. No bad feedback, we loved it here. The only suggestion we have is having a few additional details such as having a wine bottle opener and more kitchen items for cooking if people plan to stay for long.
- Carbonell (9/5): Property owner greeted us upon arrival, held our bags while housekeeping tidied up the place, and great location! - Can’t best location - close to high end shops, restaurants, walking distance to Spanish steps & Trevi fountain. Would like to have had a washer/dryer - but not a big deal.
- Vahey (5/5): Passable -
- Eneida (9/5): Superb -
